Drs. Kirstin Rorvik and William Boss are dedicated to making each dental visit as comfortable as possible while providing a high standard of care. Dr. Rorvik earned her Bachelor of Arts in biology with a minor in psychology in 2001 from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA. Dr. Boss attended Alma College receiving his Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 2000. They each earned their D.M.D. as members of the honors incentive program from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2005 (Dr. Rorvik) and 2006 (Dr. Boss). Their memberships include the American Dental Association, International Association of Orthodontics, Michigan Dental Association, Midland Dental Society.
Drs. Boss and Rorvik have enjoyed living in Midland since 2008, not far from Dr. Bosss native hometown of Alma. They have taken advantage of Midlands family oriented atmosphere with numerous activities and events to share with their children Emery, Charles, Malena and Harper.

Dr.' s Boss and Rorvik seem to be very good dentist however their office staff needs to get it together. I recently required a crown and was told my portion of the cost would be in excess of $500. A month after the procedure I received another bill in excess of $150. Upon talking to the office staff I was told my original fee was an estimate only. I was never told this was an estimate and may have made the decision to not have the procedure knowing the total cost.

Dr. Rorvik & Boss are wonderful! I've had the pleasure of seeing both of them and can say both are equally great. I use to not look forward going to the dentist but their atmosphere and personalities make you feel like your part of the family. I couldn't recommended them enough!

Service is always outstanding. Boss and Rorik are very personally and super friendly. My hygienist Miley is awesome. I always recommend this office to friends and family who are in need of a new dentist

Everyone was very nice. They went the extra mile and saw me last minute, even though I was a new patient. They were very thorough in their examination and they gave me a lot of good information regarding the issue I was having. I highly recommend. Thank you. :)

Thought it was the right dentist, until I had to deal with rude front desk staff. The first time I called she kept trying to end the call before I was done, the second time I called was to get prices on silver colored filling instead of tooth colored, but apparently looks & appearance are more important to them then somebody's health, as she tried telling me they couldn't do a silver because of looks. Not helpful at all when it comes to working out payments. You gotta love it when money is more important to a company than someone's health. They WILL NOT help with any payment plans OR help with reducing costs, despite what some other reviewers said. Not gonna lie, it actually sucks because I liked Dr Rorvik, she was very friendly and helped with my aversion to dentists. The rude front desk staff and lack of options is what leads to this review.

Dishonest and sketchy billing. I'm not a patient, but my wife used to be. This office purposely price gouges intentionally over what insurance covers, then doesnt tell you at any appointment that you have a balance due. They also lie about calling about due balances and sending mail. The lady at the front desk feels its appropriate to be as disrespectful as she wants, but if you make any remark back to her she gets offended and hangs up. Completely unprofessional, this place is a joke. The dentist may be fine but his business is a disgrace. Its a shame that I even have to write this review, but I'm doing so in order to publicly hold this dentist office responsible for their shady business practices.

I love my dentists, Boss & Rorvik Family Dental! They do excellent, precise, intricate dental work that stands the test of time. Additionally, I have tested their work extensively as I do have several crowns, root canals, and a partial plate all of which they keep in mint condition. They treat their patients with dignity and respect. They have instituted safety measures for Covid-19 that have made me feel very safe in going to their office.

I always appreciate the great service Boss and Rorvik provides. They effectively communicate with patients using appointment reminder calls and email confirmations, and the hygienist and dentists are always pleasant and professional. They also defer procedures until necessary by 'keeping an eye on that tooth, but let us know if it bothers you'. When they declare that something needs to addressed, I'm comfortable that they have my best interests in mind.
