Both Dr. Hunter and ReAnn Boss are board-certified orthodontists. The process to become an orthodontist takes 10-11 years. After completing an undergraduate degree, they spent 4 years in dental school to become dentists, and then they attended a highly competitive 30-month residency program in Orthodontics. In addition to being Orthodontists, they both practiced general dentistry for a combined 10 years. This gives them a unique ability to look at a case from both a specialist's and a general dentist's perspective, which allows them to better communicate with patients and their providers.
Dr. ReAnn Boss is energetic and enthusiastic, with a passion for educating her patients. Her years of experience practicing general and pediatric dentistry and teaching dentistry- make her an asset to her patientsworking together to artistically create their own beautiful smile.
Dr. Boss is a Texas native. She grew up in North Dallas, graduating from Allen High School. She was the captain of the soccer team at the University of Texas at Dallas and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Performing Arts. Dr. Boss graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry, now called the Texas A&M College of Dentistry, with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She furthered her dental training by completing a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry in the Air Force. Dr. Boss has an array of experience in general dentistry- including military service, private practice, pediatrics, and teaching dentistry as an Adjunct Professor at Baylor. After practicing for 7 years, she fulfilled her dream of going back to school to be an Orthodontist. Dr. Boss graduated with a Masters in Health Administration, and Certificate in Orthodontics from one of the top clinical programs in the country, at A.T. Still University- Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health.
After dental school, Dr. Boss served 5 years in the Air Force. Her military career took her around the world, mostly stationed at fighter bases and provided her with amazing experiences to serve as a leader in and out of the dental clinic. Dr. Boss was stationed in Northern California (Travis AFB), South Korea (Kunsan AB), Italy (Aviano AB) and Wichita Falls, TX (Sheppard AFB).
Dr. Boss loves music, especially oldies and youll often hear her humming or singing along to music in the office. She also loves cooking, hiking and spending time with her husband, son, and their 16 year-old cat, Zorro.

Dr. Hunter Boss is a caring, skilled, and meticulous clinician. He is passionate about communication and loves to explain complex treatment in an easy-to-understand way. Dr. Boss keeps his patients well-informed and educated about all facets of their treatment.
Dr. Boss is from a small town, at the tip of the mitt, in Northern Michigan called Charlevoix the Beautiful. He grew up on the water, surrounded by Lake Michigan to the West and Lake Charlevoix to the East. Although he started as a Construction Management major, he quickly redirected his focus towards his passion for medicine and pursued a career in dentistry. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from Michigan State University. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. During his dental school years, Dr. Boss knew he would further his education as a specialist, his engineering mind and drive led him to pursue orthodontics. Dr. Boss practiced general dentistry for 3 years before graduating from one of the top clinical programs in the country, with a Master of Science in Orthodontics and a Certificate in Orthodontics from A.T. Still University- Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health.
Dr. Boss has a lot of hobbies. Among his favorites are- tinkering with architecture and design software, horticulture, house projects, saltwater fish, hiking with his wife, son, and most of all eating great food.

I did my aligner treatment here and it was such a positive experience! The owners are very detail oriented, which I loved, and made sure I got the best results possible! The environment is so welcoming and everyone is so friendly here, 10/10!

We were traveling from Colorado for a family vacation and my son had forgotten his key for his spacer. I called them and they quickly reached out to orthodontist and were able to provide a replacement! So grateful for the kindness and fast help!

This is the most friendly, caring and down to earth staff we have ever experienced. Dr. Boss was beyond fantastic. The office is beautiful and extremely clean and modern. Dr. Boss fixed my daughter's retainer so she was finally able to wear it without pain and he was great at explaining everything to us. There is no need to look further for orthodontic care. Making us feel like family is not just a cliche. They ARE genuine!!!

I had braces for years when I was younger but my bite was never fully corrected so now in my mid-late thirties, I decided to get my teeth fixed once and for all. After some shopping around I decided on Boss Orthodontics mainly because of the reviews, their level of education, and experience. I made an appointment and met with Dr. ReAnn Boss. When walking in, it was immediately apparent that their office was modern and minimalistic, and from what I could tell, used the most up-to-date technology and equipment. The appointment started off with digital pictures and scans, which took about 10 minutes, then transitioned right into an oral exam. Once that was completed, we reviewed the scans and Dr. Boss provided a detailed explanation of my current bite contact points and areas for improvement. During the review, she was able to address every question I had with a detailed explanation of what behavior led to my current situation and potential consequences if my bite went untreated. Once I decided that I wanted her to perform the work, she took the time to explain the treatment options and the timeframe of the correction. Surprisingly, the treatment price was lower than what I was budgeting for based on a previous quote from a different orthodontist. I opted for clear aligners, and we made a follow-up appointment to start the process. Overall, I was impressed. Dr. Boss was very knowledgeable and she made the visit quick, comfortable and easy. I would recommend them to friends and family. Also, quick shout-out to Kristi and Meg who were awesome assistants and helped make the overall appointment quite pleasant.

I've been a patient of Boss Orthodontics for a couple of months now, and I finally got to see their brand new office in Kyle. It is gorgeous, tucked in a cute little shopping area (check out the ice cream store) . Like their Bee Cave location, the office is very clean, modern, bright, and airy. Their receptionist Kristi is so sweet . Her and I bonded sharing pictures of our kids. They are still taking all the COVID precautions, so she had me fill out the screener electronically and then took my temperature. Their ortho assistant, Meg, was great! She was very gentle and made me feel comfortable throughout my appt. Dr. Hunter Boss was very thorough when he checked to see how things are progressing with my treatment. I love the attention to detail. He even made a couple of tweaks to ensure that I will have the straightest smile when my braces come off in a couple of months. I really appreciate being well taken care of. Thanks!

I am so happy with my decision to go to Boss Orthodontics. I've struggled with jaw pain since I had braces as a teenager, and my teeth have started to shift again. I decided to go in for a consultation, and I'm so glad I did. Dr. ReAnn Boss is amazing and a dream to work with. She was knowledgeable and thorough in her exam, and she explained her assessment and recommendations in a way that was easy to understand. Throughout my appointment, she kept my goals top of mind and recommended the most direct, least invasive treatment possible. She even got to the root cause of headaches and neck aches that I've been experiencing. I'm also in love with their stylish office. It's sleek, bright, and modern, with advanced technology. I was impressed with the 3D x-rays and scans rather than the old goopy impressions that I had in the past. The assistants are wonderful and inviting. I really can't say enough about Boss Ortho. Highly recommend, and I'm looking forward to my next check-up!

I've been suffering from TMJ disorder for years and thought my teeth alignment was the problem. I saw Dr. Boss (Kyle location) who did a VERY thorough exam and assured me that my alignment was fine. She could have made thousands of dollars off of me by suggesting braces, but instead was completely honest about what I needed. Dr. Boss was extremely friendly, professional, and caring; and her office was modern and beautiful with all new and state-of-the-art equipment. I would feel very comfortable about taking my child here for orthodontic care. Highly recommend.
