She attended the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and subsequently completed a general practice residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ. Upon completion of the residency, Dr. Newman earned her certificate in orthodontics from Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. There she completed three years of orthodontic specialty training in conjunction with post-doctoral studies at the University of Pennsylvania, Division of Advanced Dental Education and the Lancaster Cleft Palate Center.
Currently Dr. Newman is a member of the orthodontic teaching staff at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Newman stays current with the latest innovations in orthodontics by regularly attending continuing education classes in various topics in dentistry and orthodontics.
Additionally, she is an active member in several professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists, American Board of Orthodontics, New Jersey Association of Orthodontists, Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society.
On a personal note, Dr. Newman was born in Russia and grew up in New York City. She is fluent in both Russian and English. Dr. Newman enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, baking, and cake decorating. She resides in Monmouth County, NJ with her husband and son.

Dr. Yana V. Newman is a Specialist in the field of Orthodontics! She was one of only three people chosen every other year to complete an extensive 3 year post-doctoral orthodontic residency program at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA after first completing 4 years of college , 4 years of dental school and a 1 year general practice residency.

Dr. Newman consistently goes well over the continuing education credits required by the state of NJ in order to provide you with the latest techniques available.

We utilize comprehensive orthodontic treatment planning software, the iTero 3D digital scanner and digital x-rays which produce less radiation than the traditional kind and provide better quality images.
Rest assured, we pay close attention to detail when it comes to sterilizing our instruments. The equipment is monitored regularly by a third party in order to guarantee the cleanest instruments possible for our patients.

Dr. Newman is incredibly particular about the care she provides, making sure everything is as close to perfect as it can be. She is very patient-driven and empathetic. The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and thorough. I've had a great experience with Bordentown Braces and will recommend them to everyone!

Due to Covid, Once your visit is complete you receive a call from an Amazing employee to schedule your next appointment and they are always so friendly and understanding to make sure that your next visit works with everyone schedule. Coming from a mother of 4 that takes a load off so no appointment are missed. They also have two offices which is very convenient. As for Dr. Newmen she is just AWESOME!! Definitely a great place to use!

The office and Dr.Newman are the best. They explain any procedures fully up front . Dr. Newman answered countless emergency calls off calls promptly! The staff is so very kind and welcoming that it made my kids want to come !

Dr.Newman and her staff were super friendly and amazing! Right when I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome from Tara at the front desk! After that I got taken back super quick. Jordan helped me get my new attachments on and did a great job! Then made sure everything fit and made sure I wasn't in any discomfort. Would definitely recommend this place is awesome!

We can't say enough about this office and the entire staff. They are amazing! My son has a very complicated case and Dr. Newman has gone out of her way to research the best treatment plan for him. She and her staff have been so responsive, patient and supportive and we are beyond grateful to our whole team. We love it at Bordentown Braces and you will too!

We began our journey with Dr. Newman with braces for both my children. Everyone in the office was always friendly, professional and made the children comfortable. When my son ran into issues with his orthodontic plan due to an earlier oral surgery, Dr. Newman was excellent with communicating with us all his options and even going so far as to consult with other colleagues to make sure we had all the options. Both children turned out with beautiful, healthy smiles. It was these positive experiences with Dr. Newman that finally got me to do something I never thought would be a reality, getting adult orthodontics and getting the smile I'd only ever dreamed of. After extra wisdom teeth left my own teeth crowded and crooked, Dr. Newman worked with me to put together a plan that would not only get the job done but provide me with orthodontics that were barely noticeable and helped alleviate any anxiety I had. Seeing the progress has been amazing and seeing Dr. Newman's genuine excitement with my progress has made this a very positive experience. I couldn't be happier with our choice of Bordentown Braces.

Dr. Newman and all of her staff do a great job. They were patient with our kids and make the environment comfortable for them. When our daughter got her braces off, Dr. Newman felt a couple of teeth could be straighter (even though we didn't mention any concerns). At no extra charge, she has provided our daughter with invisible aligners to correct the issue. This shows that Dr. Newman takes pride in her work and cares about doing the right thing. Orthodontia is expensive, but her prices are very fair for the area we're in and her payment plans are great. Our family would highly recommend this office!
