Dr. Charles has some 38 years of experience treating most all aspects of Dentistry. He is a graduate of Lawrence County High School, Birmingham Southern College and the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. Compassion, education, motivation, prevention and restoration are the hallmarks of our highly experienced staff.
Dr Charles is an environmentalist, an avid archery hunter, horseback rider, hiker, star-gazer and all around outdoor enthusiast! He serves with numerous professional, business and charitable service organizations. He taught at Lawrence County High School for one year before going to dental school.

We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card.

Always Get work done on one visit,not waste time on consultation then have to come back again like most dental place and reasonable cost.

I love my dentistry family at Borden's dentistry...Friendly folks...I love the quality of work I receive there...I have had fillings at other places that have fallen out but the ones I had at Dr. Borden lasted over 20 years...you may find a seemingly cheaper place but you won't find the quality of work Dr. Borden provides...

He lost the business of a family of 8 people due to obvious disregard to our concerns and anyone's opinion other than his own. I wonder how he has 4.5 star rating? Do people not know that other dentists exist who aren't rude? Will try my luck elsewhere and I advise you do the same.

I believe the x-ray was completely UNNECESSARY and un-professional as I was not even offered the protective apron guard after I asked about it. The Dr. Office had full x-rays already on hand sent over from the dental school, that was just a " money grab"!! Also a possible health code violation. The x-Ray charge should not have been.

Visited Dr. Bordens office for the first time today. Needed an extraction. It was a painless experience and everyone was friendly. I made another appointment for next month for a full exam and cleaning.

Had been suffering from a horrible wisdom tooth pain Friday night and I called first thing Monday. Charles was able to see me that very day and took care of the pain. I highly recommend him.

My 14 year old granddaughter loves Dr. Borden so much that when she got in the vehicle after having some work done, she told me that she wants to be a dentist when she grows up. That speaks volumes about his wonderful staff and their ability to make her enjoy the experience.
