He has been in practice for nearly 35 years and has enjoyed the thousands of patients he has been honored to treat. Over the years Dr. Dan has adopted many new and exciting technologies to make his patients visits more pleasant and less invasive.
He was one of the first to adopt hard tissue lasers into his practice and went on to do research and write FDA papers for approval of several oral surgery procedures used though out the world. He is a founding member of the World Clinical Laser Institute and achieved the highest level of proficiency (Mastership Level) in that organization. He became a WCLI examiner and has traveled the world administering tests to dentist as far away as Taipei and Dubai. He has lectured on techniques and incorporation of lasers into the dental practice around the world.
In 2001 Dr. Dan introduced 3D Cone Beam Radiography to Maryland, installing the first Cone Beam Xray in the state. He became the clinical director for PreXion 3D a Southern California company and trains and lectures nationally and internationally about the benefits of 3D radiology.He has written many articles on CBCT in Clinical journals.
Currently he is the director of education forChampions Dental Implantsin North and South America. Champions uses a Minimally Invasive Technique for the placement of implants and was founded in Germany 8 years ago and has experienced rapid growth over the years.
Most recently, Dr Dan has studied and is incorporating Dental Sleep Medicine into the practice. Sleep Apnea is one of the fasted growing and most under diagnosed problems facing Americans. He is happy to bring this to the Boonsboro and Middletown MD area. For those of you who wish you had the perfect smile, Dr. Dan is also a certified Invisalign provider, he has been involved with orthodontics for over 23 years and will change your smile to the one you always wanted.

I retired and had to find a new dentist because my previous dentist of 31 years did not take my new insurance. Sad that I paid out of network prices for 31 years and then was dismissed at the drop of a hat. What is wrong with our insurance system? Tried Robinwood but was put off by their poor customer service, yet they espouse compassionate care. Not. Fortunately for me, a neighbor recommended Boonsboro Family Dentistry. I had what felt like an urgent dental need and Tammy was able to get me in right away. That's compassionate care. I was blown away by Stephanie, the hygienist, who explained everything that seemed to be going on with my teeth. She could be a dentist as she's that knowledgeable. DR Lee came in and confirmed what she had already told me. His positive energy made me feel assured and respected. I'm sorry I failed to get the name of the person who checked me out, but she was very helpful explaining the billing procedure and set up a new appointment for treatment. From Stephanie to DR Lee to checkout, I believe that this practice honestly has the welfare interest of the patient. Now that's compassionate care.

I was extremely pleased with the service I received. My dental hygienist was very thorough and provided me with suggestions for taking care of my entire mouth. She was very pleasant and easy to talk to. The dentist was very nice and they all seemed genuinely caring. Overall, even though it was a trip to the dentist, it was a great experience.

They should put another star up for Boonsboro family dentist. Everyone is professional and polite. My hygienist was awesome. She even educated me while leaning and examining. Had to get 2 fillings and the dentist and his assistant were very polite, professional, and made sure I was comfortable during the procedure. Was excellent visit except they wouldn't let me get a prize from the treasure chest.
