Only then will we take you through your treatment with the utmost of care. Modern dentistry has many techniques, local anesthetics, and relaxation methods to increase your comfort. The more involved you are in making your dental health decisions, the less room there is for fear and uncertainty.

Our top priority is to treat each patient as an individual, to get to know them personally, and not merely treat them as a chart number or the next patient. Dr. McKenny grew up in York, NE, and he couldnt be happier to call Boone home. He graduated from Creighton University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and then continued his education at Creightons dental school. His family includes his wife Rachel and their children Patrick, Amelia, and John.

Rhonda has been a hygienist for 23 years. She received her education from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, South Dakota. Rhonda has lived in many parts of Iowa, from Dickens, where she was raised, to Sioux Center, and finally to Boone now for 13 years. She has been married to her husband, Tom, for 25 years and they have two children, Andrew and Kendra who are both in college now.

Lisa grew up in Alden, IA and has called Boone home for the past 12 years. She graduated Dental Hygiene school in 2007 from Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo and has been a hygienist for 12 years. Her family consists of her husband Scott, who is a Boone native, and 3 children. She enjoys attending her childrens activities, camping and tending to their animals on their acreage.

Gina has been a certified and registered dental assistant for over 43 years after earning her degree from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Gina and her husband Ted, moved their family to Boone over 20 years ago. Gina has a daughter Lauren, husband Josh and 3 beautiful sons. Our son Alex, served with the Army National Guard for over 7 years and did a tour in Afghanistan. Alex was tragically killed in a car accident in 2016. When Gina is not working in the front office she is helping assist in the back. Gina enjoys, gardening, shopping for antiques with her husband, but most of all, loves spending time with her 3 grandsons.

Elaine has been a dental assistant for 43 years, all of them at the same office, although in 3 different buildings! She received her dental assisting degree from Iowa Central Community College in 1977. A long time resident of Boone, she moved from Stratford in 1978 and has lived here ever since. Elaine and her husband Kelcy have a daughter, a son, one son-in-law, one grandson and two granddaughters. In her spare time, Elaine enjoys taking photos of nature and spending time with family, especially her beautiful grandchildren!

Nicole graduated from DMACC in 1995 as a Registered Dental Assistant. She joined Boone Family Dentistry in 2017. In 2005, through continued education, Nicole received her expanded function certificate. Nicole was born and raised just outside of Huxley. She and her husband Tim live in Huxley with their two children Hannah and Peyton. Nicole loves to play volleyball and spend time with her friends and family. Nicole is also very active in her community and church.

Kaitlin graduated from DMACC in 2017 as a Registered Dental Assistant. She has worked at Boone Family Dentistry since September 2017. Kaitlin grew up in Estherville Iowa and lived in Ames for 4 years while going to college. She and her husband Chase, have recently moved to Boone and now call it home with their fur baby Princess. In her spare time she likes to clean, cook, go on walks with Princess and enjoys hanging out with family.
