Outside the office, Brenna enjoys spending time with her husband and family. She can be found reading, knitting, working out and watching movies. Music is a huge part of her life and you will always hear music, especially Jazz, playing at her house!
Kara has been working in the dental field since 2002. She graduated from Agawam High School and earned a certificate from Porter and Chester Institute for Dental Assisting. She enjoys working with a team that provides the highest level of dental care and strives to make every patient comfortable and at ease.
Jeyni has been working in the dental field since 2015. She graduated from high school of science technology and earned a certificate from Porter and Chester as a dental assistant. She enjoys learning and loves to make patients feel comfortable. Jenny has experience in orthodontics and pediatric dentistry as well as general dentistry.
Stephanne earned her Dental Hygiene degree at Springfield Technical Community College (STCC) in 2012 and has recently moved back to Westfield her hometown after living in the Boston area. She loves the Dental Fitness Program, educating and coaching patients to meet their dental goals. Shes enthusiastic and inspiring. Enjoys traveling and is currently building her forever home with her husband.
Ama earned her Dental Hygiene degree in at Springfield Technical Community College (STCC) in 2009 and has been a part of the team ever since. Ama strives to coach her patient to achieve and maintain optimal oral health and general health. Through positive instruction and education, she believes each person can accomplish their individualized goals for health. With our unique Dental Fitness Program,Ama is able to guide patients to achieve dental goals. She finds that patients enjoy when she uses intraoral photograph at dental visits to help them understand their current dental health. She is proud to be a part of a dental team that stays current with technology as well as continuing education. Being certified in local anesthesia allows her to achieve optimal patient comfort. She finds it important to provide a positive experience in the dental chair and finds it rewarding when even the most fearful patients leave the patient at ease.
Dr. Bonkowski is a Westfield native who graduated from St. Marys High in 1975. He continued his undergraduate education at Holyoke Community College and Marquette University to receive his B.S. in 1979. He graduated from Marquette School of Dentistry in 1983. Among his many post-graduate accomplishments in 1988 he earned a Certificate of Orthodontics and Orthopedics from United States Dental Institute on Boston. In 1991 he became a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) and in 2001 he earned the prestigious Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). In 1999 to 2001 he also travelled to St. Petersburg Florida to learn under Dr. Peter Dawson in the center of Advanced Dental Study. In 2002, he completed the Mastery Program in Scottsdale Arizona under Dr. Michael Schuster in the Center for Professional Development.
In the mid 2000s Dr. B. spent many hours studying TMJ and Bite Issues and completed Level III training at OBI (Orthographics Bioesthetics International) in Louisville Kentucky. He also assisted teaching levels II course in nearby Boston. In 2007, after taking a hands-on implant course in Augusta Georgia he became certified in IV sedation from Medical College of Georgia and began placing Nobel Biocare Implants in his private practice. Soon thereafter he became an assistant faculty member for the General Practice Residency (GPR) program and travels to Augusta several times a year.
His professional affiliations are The American Dental Association (ADA), The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), Valley District Dental Society, New England Mastertrack Study Club, Noble Hospital Staff, Westfield Dental Society, and the Berkshire Facial study group. Dr. B. holds Dental Licenses in Massachusetts and Georgia.
