Our dental practice includes the expertise of Dr. Ghazal Farhang who brings years of experience and second-to-none patient care to the state of the art Bonita Smiles Dental practice in Chula Vista, CA. Under her gentle and compassionate care patients have been given the gift of a healthy, beautiful smile.
Dr. Ghazal Farhang earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious University of Southern California, Ostrow School of Dentistry in Los Angeles, California. She also has earned her Master of Science in Biochemistry from San Diego State University and her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA. She is a gentle, patient, and knowledgeable clinician who works well with people of all ages. Dr. Farhang has also done her General Practice Residency Program at the San Diego Veteran Affairs Health Care System where she has acquired her clinical skills and patient care management in general dentistry ranging from fillings, root canal therapy, oral surgery, dental implant, periodontal surgery to a full mouth reconstruction.
Since then she has embarked on a very comprehensive practice of general and cosmetic dentistry in San Diego County. She also actively participates in continuing education to stay updated on all the new technologies and researchers in the world of dentistry.

I love Dr. Farhang! She is the best dentist I have ever been to and I will never go to any other dentist. I travel over 40miles to her office because I refuse to go to anyone else. She is caring, her work is outstanding and she gets to know her patients. If you are looking for a great dentist Dr. Farhang is the one.

If you're looking for dental care from someone who is not only an excellent dentist, but also very patient and compassionate... I highly recommend Dr. Farhang, she is amazing! My husband and I are her patients, he is disabled by arthritis and is very limited in his mobility, it's painful for him to go anywhere. When his dental plate was accidentally dropped and broken, she actually volunteered to come over to our home to help him and provide a new dental plate for him. Doctor Farhang went way above and beyond anything that she was obligated to do, and we are grateful.

My father is essentially bedridden at this point due to his intense knee pain while waiting for surgery. Unfortunately, during this time his temporary mouth plate (fake teeth) was dropped and broken. Dr. Farhang went out of her way to make a couple house calls in order to take care of him! Before I called Dr. Farhang it seemed an impossible situation due to his extreme lack of mobility. When she offered to go out of her way due to my father's situation I was amazed and grateful! This is not a small or routine thing on her part as she has other patients that she has to take care of in the office and yet she somehow fit my dad into her busy schedule. She did not even charge us for the house call itself! Earlier this year, before my fathers situation progressed and we were able to get him in the office it was still a difficult and painful process including movement from wheelchair to dental chair. Dr. Farhang and her staff were always accommodating, compassionate and helpful with my dad every step of the way during his necessary dental work. We are very grateful for Dr. Farhang's dental expertise and her compassion. I would sincerely recommend her!

This place is horrible and unprofessional. I chipped my tooth and was experiencing pain. I called on my day off hoping they could see me that day. They couldn't accommodate a walk in despite having pain. But I understand that. I understand there are others ahead of me. That's reasonable. The closest appointment they had was about two weeks out. I did explain I was experiencing pain but they couldn't see me sooner. Okay that's fine. I made an appointment for the 17th. I just received a text message saying the doctor won't be in and the next available appointment was the 31st! What a horrible way to do business. At least call me and make the effort to meet me halfway. Avoid this place.

Had to find a dentist for emergency dental work. This office is outstanding, from the inviting front office workers, attentive dental assistants to the wonderful Doctor they were amazing. I will be changing my primary dentist to this practice. I highly recommend anyone who is in need of emergency treatment or a new doctor. The dentist did a couple of things to my teeth that I had not authorized and I am still waiting to hear back as to why. I would like to rate this place higher, but not being able to trust a medical professional is a worrisome issue...

Nico has his 2 lower canines extracted today and LET ME TELL YOU.. Dr. Farhang did an amazing job of keeping him at ease. I cannot express how much I love this woman. Her staff is amazing as well. From cleanings to extractions and veneers, I swear she gets better and better. We will continue seeing her for all of our dental needs for as long as possible.

I recently visited Bonita Smiles and I couldn't be happier with their service. Dr. Farhang and her staff were so professional and friendly. My visit went very smoothly and the doctor was making jokes and she was so nice it made the whole experience so much easier. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring dentist.
