Dr. Alexandra Murphy is a lifelong Indianapolis-area resident and classmate of Dr. Troyer (our former dentist). She graduated from Indiana University Bloomington, where she majored in biology and minored in chemistry. After her undergraduate education, Dr. Murphy interned at a dental practice in Indianapolis for a year. She later attended Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
She is passionate about helping her patients optimize their dental health. Dr. Murphys favorite dental quote is: Only floss the teeth you want to keep. She looks forward to continuing the tradition of high-quality dentistry and patient care started by Dr. Nancy Bolt and carried on with Dr. Troyer.
Dr. Murphy and her husband, Cameron, currently reside in Indianapolis, where they plan to establish roots long-term as he finishes a medical residency. Outside of the office, Dr. Murphy loves to exercise, and you can often find her weight lifting at her local gym. Additionally, she enjoys relaxing at home with her husband and taking their Goldendoodle, Lionel, on long walks.

Warm and welcoming, gathered info from our prior Dentist, these folks are local , organized and visually work well together. First visit for cleaning , review of history , panoramic teeth imaging and bit wing images. Cleaning and exam were gental and well explained of results, (( Look mom ! no cavities)) We are very happy to new patients to Bolt Family Dental.
