At Boise Integrative Dentistry, we provide a unique perspective and philosophy toward dentistry and your overall health. Through extensive personal research and continuing education, our team of doctors has created a dental environment that encompasses wellness, treats the issues relating to oral health, and promotes balance for your whole body. Treatments in areas such as veneers, dental implants, pediatric dentistry, TMJ pain, sleep apnea, safe mercury removal, periodontology, and more, are all completed at the highest level with an integrative approach in mind. Partnering with other practitioners such as CranioSacral therapists, speech pathologists, functional medicine doctors, and myofunctional therapists plays an integral role in our treatment philosophy. By recognizing the connections between the mouth and body, our dentists can tailor your individual care to specifically address the underlying causes of dental disease, rather than just treating the symptoms.
I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry, but my passion over the years has veered towards using my unique experience in dentistry, surgery, and sedation to provide comfortable options for patients who otherwise would be fearful of dental treatment. My desire with every patient is to change the common perception and misconceptions about dentistry and create a patient experience which dissipates anxiety and thus promotes a personal investment and enthusiasm towards long term oral health. I have found that open communication, honesty, and the willingness to build a trusting relationship is the best way to begin on the journey towards optimal results.
I grew up in Twin Falls, Idaho and initially became involved in dentistry through dental assisting. This is where my passion for patient care was ignited. I decided to further my education in dentistry with an undergraduate degree at Idaho State University followed by my dental degree from University of Las Vegas, Nevada School of Dental Medicine, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. I also received the Joel F. Glover General Dentistry Award which is given to one student in each graduating class for 'outstanding integrity, humility, promise of leadership, and proficiency in all aspects of general dentistry.' Subsequently, I completed a competitive residency program for Advanced Education in General Dentistry through ISU. There I received additional training in implant placement, endodontics, 3rd molar extractions, as well as licensing in conscious sedation. Since then, I have sought out and remained actively involved in several dental study clubs here in Boise through which I am continually learning in this evolving field.
I have spent the majority of my life in Idaho and many of my friends and family live in the Treasure Valley. Being a local, I have a strong commitment to this community and I value the relationships I create with my patients both in and out of the office. Aside from my practice, I also devote my time to my fellow female dentists in the community through the Women in Dentistry society that I helped establish here in Idaho. This group is a component of the Idaho State Dental Association and works to support female dentists in the Treasure Valley and throughout the state. Although the graduating female dentists across the country are now about fifty percent, Idaho still lags behind with only less than ten percent of practicing female dentists. Through this group, we are able to connect, support and collaborate with each other to navigate the unique issues and aspects of this career that we encounter in our professional and private lives. This has been a very rewarding experience and along with the other dental groups that I am also a part of, has been instrumental in expanding my knowledge and continually improving the level of care for my patients.

We switched to this office because of a recommendation from a friend. All 4 of my kids had cleanings - every appointment they were running late (one appointment was 35 minutes late!). When I went to check out, the employee behind the desk was busy on her computer (not on the phone) and did not even look up to acknowledge me waiting to check out.... 10 minutes later, another employee finally chimed in and offered to help. We needed to get a few cavities taken care of for my 7 year old child. They gave me a quote and the estimated price after insurance. Wanting to get this all done before school started, I went ahead and scheduled 2 appointments over the next few weeks to get the cavities fixed. The first appointment they were running very late. But we finally got in and got the first phase taken care of. The second appointment they were running so late we had to reschedule. The third try, we schedule for 7:10 AM hoping it we would get in and out, but no - they were running late again. My child was brought back to the chair at 7:20, and then we waiting... the procedure did not start until 7:55. My child was so nervous and was waiting for so long.... and not one person offered a "thank you for your patience" or apology for the massive delay. To top it off, the front office neglected to notify us of an insurance issue until AFTER the final appointment - I asked when they had gotten this notification from Blue Cross, to which they told me they got that info 5 days ago. And why did no one communicate this to me? The estimation was incorrect and now we have a massive dental bill that does not at all reflect the quote we were provided. I am a patient person and I don't recall ever having written a review where I was not pleased... I am more of a "silver lining" kind of person that gives everyone the benefit of the doubt. But this was too much. Poor communication. Poor customer service. Poor follow up. Do not recommend.

Great first experience with Integrative Dentistry! We saw Dr. Ririe for my 8yo, and everything was explained well and thoroughly about treatment for my son. I'm considering switching all of the family over based on how knowledgable the dentist and staff are, and most importantly because they focus on treating the root cause of the issue, not the standard "drill, fill and bill" like most dentists are these days.

Best experience I've ever had at a dental office! My children both have rather complicated dental needs including Enamel Hypoplasia, so it's extremely hard to find a dentist who truly knows EH and has real treatment options. Dr. Ririe was amazing with my children and has the absolute safest and best treatment plan for them. The hygienists we met were wonderful as well and did an extremely thorough cleaning and made my children feel so comfortable. And the front office staff was very friendly and so sweet to my children. We have been to 3 dentists in and around Boise and 3 dentists in Nashville, TN over the last several years trying to find the best and I feel that we have finally found the best. I would absolutely recommend Boise Integrative Dentistry.
