Ive been practicing orthodontics for nearly 40 years and can honestly say I am as excited about the field today as I was when I started seeing patients! Orthodontics, in my opinion, is the greatest profession in the world. I have been pleased to work at a job I love: work has never felt like work.
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to help so many people achieve the beautifully healthy and confident smiles they deserve, while building lasting relationships. I am honored to now be creating wonderful smiles for the children and grandchildren of some of my first patients and love having the opportunity to reconnect with parents and grandparents!
In the twilight of my career, I fly to New Jersey from my current home, in Florida, to practice with my son and teach orthodontics residents the skills and knowledge needed to excel. After practicing full-time for many years, always seeking to best the best orthodontist I could be and avidly pursuing continuing education, Im now teaching others.
My 2nd Career in orthodontics, as a teacher, has allowed me to make friends across the world. I've taught in Europe, Asia, Australia, South America, and the Middle East. Truly, the world is a much smaller place and doctors across the globe are eager to learn. I am humbled to be contributing to making our profession better.
Our team members are an extension of my family. In turn, they welcome our patients into our orthodontic family. Each team member is caring and compassionate, contributing to a positive, fun environment where our patients are encouraged to achieve their dreams!
Not only do I wholeheartedly believe in staying current on the latest developments in orthodontics, I teach and train in the specialty around the world. Teaching and lecturing to my peers requires I stay at the leading edge of advancements in the profession.
After growing up and spending much of my life in New Jersey, I now live in Florida with my wife, Diane. Shes now retired but once ran the practice. We have five children, between us, and thirteen grandchildren! When not caring for patients or teaching, time with family, traveling, and playing golf all keep me busy.
It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that I inform you of the passing of my son, Dr. Mark Bogdan. Mark passed away yesterday, June 29, 2020. As many of you know, Mark has been dealing with health issues for the past couple of years, which has been difficult on all of us. He is now resting in peace...
As you are all aware, I have been helping Mark these past 18 months or so, by working in the practice and providing care for his patients. I will continue to do so, knowing that providing the best possible orthodontic care and treatment results has always been a priority for Mark and me. Bogdan Orthodontics will continue to be a thriving force in our community.
Prior to Mark's passing, I was working to find another orthodontist to assist us in providing your treatment. I will continue in that process and I will keep you all informed as we search for another outstanding orthodontist. For now, you have our wonderful and devoted Team along with me. We are devoted to continuing your orthodontic treatment helping you to achieve that beautiful smile. My son, would want that!
I am a people-person, so I love that my work allows me to meet so many wonderful people. We become friends while they achieve their new smile! In addition to offering patient care and education, I also work in our onsite lab, making retainers. Im proud of my education and certifications: Im a Certified and Registered Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions and X-ray Certified, too.
I enjoy working with all of our patients but especially the kids: its exciting to watch them grow up into young adults, with beautiful smiles that fill them with confidence! I work chairside with the doctors during procedures, helping them and our patient. I also teach patients about home care and take impressions, photos, and X-rays.
When not working, I love spendingtime with mythree children (twins and a young daughter). I like to work out, do Zumba, and travel. I also enjoy attending my daughters cheer competitions and my sons baseball games.
I like meeting new people, welcoming them to Bogdan Orthodontics, and helping them understand their treatment. Its fun to get to know a person as theyre starting care and then see them change as they achieve their new smile! I oversee all new patients, from the first call to the day they start treatment. I dont see our practice as my job: this is my home away from home!
My family is my life. I am the mother of four: two biological daughters and two adopted sons, as well as three beautiful granddaughters. I love to travel to any place with beaches and enjoy gardening, too.
I like getting to know patients on a personal basis. Its rewarding to be part of helping people get the smile theyve always wanted and to see how happy they are with all they accomplish! I work chairside, supporting our patient and assisting the doctors with procedures like changing wires and removing braces.
When not working, I love to go bowling and spend time with my boyfriend and family. I also enjoy shopping, for myself and others, and can be a homebody whos happy staying in and watching a good movie.
I love seeing the wonderful smiles on patients faces. Each person is so excited to be getting the smile of their dreams and that excitement is contagious! I work at the front desk, where I greet patients with a warm smile: Im genuinely glad to see them! My background is in customer service and I enjoy the health sciences, so working at our office is the perfect fit for me.

I personally here have been coming for the past 2 years now and all I can say is that this is just a safe environment. Great staff and doctors and just made me feel like I'm part of their family. I would make everyone come here if it was up to me.

This place a wonderful and safe environment. They were very welcoming and explained all steps and everything that they will be doing to my children. They are super friendly and make us feel like we are part of there family. Honestly a great place to bring your children to make there smile a better thing:) highly recommend and to be honest I would give this place 10 stars if I had the complete option too 100/10!!!!!!!!

Exceptional service, professional, polite, friendly and entire staff has a great sense of humor. Second go round with braces due to throwing my retainers in trash during Covid. Here we are and I enjoy my visits. I have always been able to rely on Addy for comic relief(thanks for the best 5 mins a girl could ask for). Jeanette is the most compassionate person the office is blessed to have such a wonderful soul on their staff. Yesenia couldn't leave with out giving you a shout out- she is so pleasant but don't miss your appointment. Thanks Transcend You Rock literally.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The staff is so sweet, so pleasant, and so patient. From the moment you walk in you can feel the beautiful energy. This office is immaculate. The girls in the back are such an awesome well oiled team. They all work together and treat one another with kindness. I would recommend them over and over! Shout of to my favorite girl Christie! She is such a fun, energetic, vibrant worker who truly loves her job. She brings comfort and makes me laugh. Her personality is just beautiful. Dr Sandman is the man! I have nothing but praises to give regarding my results and overall experience during my 14-month journey. The whole staff was nothing but attentive, caring and very professional throughout. Christie took care of my frequently and I want to specially thank her for always making me feel at ease when I was nervous. This is the 2nd time I have braces and by far the best experience I've ever had. The staff is super professional, always willing to work with me due to my work schedule, easy to reschedule when needed wether in needed a soon as possible appointment or my regular appointments. Professional staff that is able to meet my orthodontic needs. I love the doctors here and the dental technicians that assist them. Feel like I'm with family when I'm here. I'm looking forward to referring friends and family here in the near future. I've been going to Bodgen/ Transcend orthodontist since i first started high school, and i currently just finished my treatment with Dr. Anna!! Ms. Janette, Ms. Mariam, Ms. Jessenia and Ms. Addy are the best human beings in the whole world!! I love the whole office, all the ladies there are so kind and have such a great personality. During my time there, i've had a different assistant each time to help with my treatment and honestly they're all amazing. When Dr.Anna told me my braces were coming off soon i literally asked her "why" and all the assistants laughed at me. It was just because i knew i was going to miss them!! I have been a patient at Transcend Orthodontics for the past three years. Appointment sessions are always on time. From the time you walk in, you are greeted happily by the front office staff. Once you are brought to an open office, the friendly back office staff & technicians are waiting to assist. The doctors are phenomenal, have great interpersonal skills, and explain your treatment plan in full, all while making sure you are comfortable. Every question is answered. The doctors & support staff are all friendly & knowledgeable in their trade. I'm very happy with my treatment plan, progress & results. My smile is bright & beautiful, all thanks to Transcend Orthodontics.
