I have had the pleasure of being part of Blythe Dental Center team for 28 years, 17 of which have been with Dr. Gilbert Amthor! I love my job! I have worked as both a Dental Assistant and the Office Manager. I really enjoy being a patient advocate. Theres nothing like the satisfied look on a patients face when theyve navigated the sometimes-confusing world of insurance/financing to come out the other end with an even bigger, better smile. I always try to calm fears, answer questions and help make treatment possible. Another very important part of my life is my family! I cannot spend enough time with my little family. Ive had the pleasure of working at Blythe Dental Center for the last 7 years. Currently I work in the front office as the Hygiene Coordinator, as well as the Orthodontic Assistant. Hi, Im Gloria Ruvalcaba and I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist since May 2011. I attended Dental Hygiene school at San Joaquin Valley College in Visalia, CA. When I completed the Dental Hygiene program I returned to Blythe, CA since that is where most of my family lives and it is also the little town where I was born and raised. Prior to pursuing a career in the dental field, I was a pharmacy tech, and I still hold a current Pharmacy Technician license. I really enjoy working and being part of the dental field and helping patients achieve and maintain good oral health so that it also helps to improve their overall health. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, scrap booking and traveling with my husband.
Hi, Im Jennifer Rios, one of the Dental Hygienists at Blythe Dental Center. I began my dental career in 1990 as a Dental Assistant. I later decided to further my education and became a Dental Hygienist in 1997. I have worked here at Blythe Dental Center for over 10 years. I love my job, it is very gratifying helping people and seeing them happy with their smile. When Im not at work I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors.
Hi, my name is Adrianna. I began my journey into dentistry in 2015 when I attended the dental program at Kaplan College. While there I realized how fun the dental field is and couldnt wait to gain experience in an actual office. In early 2016, I had the pleasure of joining the staff at Blythe Dental Center. I love my job! I love being so hands on and interacting with patients on a daily basis. Given the chance to help patients obtain their ideal smile and healthy mouth brings me great happiness. Im currently working on obtaining my Registered Dental Assistant license and plan to have it by the end of 2017.
Hello, my name is Miriam Jauregui. I am a very outgoing family oriented person. I have a passion for the dental field. It is a career field that I have always wanted to pursue and grow in. I enrolled in an 8-month dental assisting class at Brightwood College in Palm Springs. Being born and raised in Blythe, I decided to start my internship at Blythe Dental Center and they hired me as a Dental Assistant as soon as I had completed my hours. I chose this career field to help others have a great, clean and healthy set of teeth and smile. My favorite part of the day about working in this office is seeing my patients leave happy.

I went in for a check-up . I had an appointment. The woman told me to have a seat. She gave me nothing to fill out. Some other people came in after and they were immediately given a form to fill out . I had to ask for a form ,and the Hispanic woman looked at me dirty and said ohh. The secretary came out and gave me a chart. So I had to wait longer.that same Hispanic woman came out. She had a bad tone ,told me to sit here and what did I want. She took an x-ray. She couldn't even do that without having an attitude. So the doctor looks at my x-ray and is talking to me and the whole time this Hispanic woman is making comments and mumbling the whole time. I was done and that same woman orders me to go to the front desk and they will take care of you. Don't go in this place or even talk to these local trash.

First visit today went extremely well. Expecting the worse and after talking to the dentist he will be able to restore my smile. My service today was excellent. The dental team explained every step of the procedure. Looking forward to a new smile. Plus I called and they seen me the next morning.

Great Team. Had a wisdom tooth removed that was cracked and killing me. painless and professional. Took me in on short notice, got the job done pretty quickly. I'm writing this about two hours after the process, I hope it heals....then... all good! TY.

I'm a Colorado snowbird staying outside of Quartzsite, Az. After developing a toothache I contacted Blythe Dental Center. Dr. Amthor and his Assistant Anna were great. They were friendly, professional, efficient, and painless. The same goes for the rest of the staff. I can recommend them without reservation.

I broke a filling, which changed my bite and caused another tooth (with a post/core/crown) to break as well. I was in a lot of pain and apprehensive about having both teeth extracted. Dr. Amthor evaluated the situation, and Dr. Strong performed the extractions flawlessly. They were both very sympathetic and professional, and I felt like I was really being heard. Dr. Strong gave a great injection and did an exemplary job of removing the broken teeth, even with extensive bone loss complicating things. I am profoundly grateful to have this behind me, and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for excellent dental care.

Terrible service - they advised me they were too busy to help my bother with the paperwork even after I explained he had a head injury and just needed a little assistance. Stated they were too busy of an office to help. Anyone with disabilities DO NOT go to them they have no compassion.

Blythe Dental Center is phenomenal! They give exceptional customer service. The quality of care my family and I receive there is beyond amazing. We always feel very welcomed. The environment there is very comforting, pleasant, and professional. There's a sense of happiness with the staff, which is why two of our favorite staff members are Debbie and Lupe. They strive to accommodate us each and every time. They are competent and knowledgeable. Lupe and Debbie are very skilled at what they do; it reflects in their relationships with the patients. My children are very happy there and we look forward to our dental appointments every time! Thank you!

I have been a patient here for 8 years because of the first class service and care I receive each and every visit. The staff is friendly and helpful. The waiting area is always clean and comfortable. Most importantly the treatment I receive is impeccable. The warm and familiar atmosphere at Blythe Dental will keep me coming back for another 8 years or more!

Blythe dental came in to rescue in my most painful time of need. I simply called, made an appointment for 2 days later for wisdom tooth extraction with the help of most professional staff. Each staff member and Dr are thorough, efficient and knowledgeable for patients needs. I was made comfortable by the attending Dr and staff, explained the extraction and by the time I could take a breath, tooth was extracted. My most painful issue was relieved after my visit. I am thankful to the helping staff and the attending Dr for such a smooth extraction.
