Dr. Eduardo Nicolaievsky is an experienced oral surgeon who is a well-known and respected Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Implantologist in Mexico City. He attended the Universidad Tecnolgica de Mxico, where he earned his dental degree. He came to the United States, University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center, for his residencies and completed programs in both Dental Anesthesiology and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Nicolaievsky was an Associate Professor at the Universidad Tecnolgica de Mxico for many years. He is continually seeking ways to learn and grow in his oral surgery and dental implant services as technology continues to provide new and exciting ways to improve care.
Dr. Nicolaievsky is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He is Chief of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Service at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach.
Dr. Jeffrey D. Blums specialty is Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, which includes dental implants, dental cosmetic procedures, extractions, and corrective surgery of the mouth, gums, and jaws. In addition, he performs biopsies to help diagnose oral cancer and treats patients with temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD).
A significant portion of Dr. Blums practice involves dental implants. As one of Floridas premier dental implantologists, Dr. Blum is proud of the fact that dental implants have a truly remarkable success rate. When compared to more traditional treatment options like dentures, bridges, and crowns, he views dental implants as highly beneficial to patients in the long term.
Dr. Blum is a strong believer in procedures being made as easy as possible on the patient. One unique aspect of his practice is the number of immediate load implant cases performed. Where circumstances allow, patients come into Dr. Blums office and leave with their new teeth, thereby avoiding multiple visits to complete treatment. This is something patients vastly prefer yet it is a rare scenario in practices performing dental implants.
His practice performs a great deal of digital photography, which makes it easier and faster to create accurate before and after photos of patients treatment. When appropriate, Dr. Blum works closely with other dentists and physicians to ensure that patients receive the benefits of a multi-disciplinary approach.

Very high end costumer service, the secretary are nice until you pay. I pay almost $3K for my kid (2 extraction teeth), it's very expensive and they treat you like a number. They don't let you go inside with your kid until the procedure, he was alone waiting for the doctor to come and then he explain 2 minutes what he did in a rush. He is a good doctor, but the whole environment it's made to make money, not treat people.

Dr. Nico is one of the greatest oral surgeons that I've ever met, not just professionally but also as a human being. He fix complex problems in a simplistic way, I admire him so much. Dr. Nico and his staff are absolutely amazing! I was referred by my cousin (Dr. Jessica Cismas) and informed that if I could even get in that I would be elated not only with the surgery but the results... sure enough I am finally smiling and showing off my teeth for the first time in a decade!!! I lost a tooth many many many years ago while pregnant and put off having any work done for years. I have a fear of dentists.. anyhow do not do what I did. However I will tell that you have found your doctor right here. Dr. Nico was able to do a spectacular bone implant and help fix not just where my tooth was missing but my jaw line which had deteriorated over the years. His staff treated me like family and even though I had a full blown panic attack day of surgery they were able to comfort me, calm me down and move forward with the surgery. Dr. Nico checked on the process of my healing and I've had several followups including after my implant (done by Dr. Cismas) to ensure that everything was just perfect. I am so grateful to Dr. Nico and his staff for taking such good care of me. Thank you all so much for everything and I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm looking forward to my one year check up.

I needed a tooth extraction and bone graft. I was on vacation in Miami and was referred to Blum-Nico by an endodontist. Dr. Nico and the entire staff did a fantastic job. It began when I entered the office. They were friendly, efficient and helpful. the office was very well staffed and they were on top of everything. Once I was prepped, Dr. Nico came into the room and had a thorough discussion with me about what the surgery would entail. He didn't pressure me, answered all of my questions, gave me options about waiting to see if the pain lessened over the weekend and even said he would try to help me manage the pain until I was able to go home and do the surgery there. I opted to do it right then and there. And I'm glad that I did. They did a great job, I healed just as he said I would, I went back eight days later to have the stitches out - which he took out himself - and they gave me copies of all my medical records and offered to send me the scans so that I could give them to a doctor in NYC who would perform the implant in 10 weeks time. I can not recommend Dr. Nico and his staff more highly. They did a fantastic job. I hope my care in NYC is as good as it was in Miami.

I have recently moved to Florida permanently so seeing my dentist who also is my dearest friend whom I would trust with my life, asked one of his colleagues in Florida for a recommendation for a Dentist who could handle my case, which is a very comprehensive and difficult one. His ONLY choice was Dr. Nico' office. After my first visit, I completely understand why. What a wonderful experience with such competence and care. Dr. Nico so gently got me through a traumatic procedure that will, in the end, be life changing. His manner is so comforting and soothing that I felt totally at ease in his hands. I had a horrible experience here. To start, I waited a long time just to be seen by the doctor. Then, I watched a boring 5-10 minutes video about the service I wanted done. By the way the video was published in 90s the guy in the video nearly put me to sleep. Finally, the doctor comes in and tries to convince me to take a special x-ray that would cost $315. The doctor seemed so desperate for me to take the x-ray or get some fast money. He barely wanted to speak with me. I went in for a consultation with a professional oral surgeon not to watch a video that I can watch at home. I was so turned off by this experience that I had to write this review. Hopefully, moving forward he should show less video and more time speaking with potential clients.

Dr. Nico is truly wonderful. My first consultation with him I cried explaining my very bad dental experiences over many years. He told me not to worry it would be fine. My reply to him "you do not have my mouth", I have a very low pain thrust hold. It has taken me over 2 years for me to complete 1 implant. He has been very understanding and constantly telling me it will be ok. Finally last year he started the implant, he talk me thru it and it was perfect. Today, he finally finished the implant, again he walk me thru it and I felt very little sensation. Dr. Nicolaievsky is the BEST.
