Dr. Berger was raised in Worthington, MN. He attended and graduated from St. Olaf College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. Following college, he spent three years working as a chemist for a metro area pharmaceutical company. After realizing he needed more of a social component in a long-term career, Dr. Berger returned to school at the University of Minnesota where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Berger has enjoyed serving the Red Wing area since 2018, focusing on most general dental procedures including restorative dentistry, crown and bridge placement, oral surgery, and endodontics/root canal treatments. He has also been active at the Red Wing C.A.R.E. Clinic providing dental services to those in need.
Dr. Berger understands the importance of continuing education and strives to provide the highest quality of care to his patients by incorporating the latest advancements in dental treatment. He also stays active in the dental profession through his memberships in the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Berger is married to his wife, Danielle, who grew up in Hastings. They, along with their son Noah and lively golden retriever Layla, are taking in all that Southeast MN has to offer. Dr. Berger is a big MN sports fan, enjoys playing golf, hockey and spending time outdoors.
Office Manager / Licensed Dental Assistant Danielle was born and raised in Hastings, MN. She graduated from Dakota County Technical College in 2007 and has since then enjoyed assisting patients dental needs with a caring nature. She has a passion for dentistry fueled by continuously expanding her knowledge through continuing education courses. Danielle and her husband, Jeremy, live in Rosemount with their son Noah and their dog Layla. She enjoys traveling, attending sporting events and concerts, reading, hiking with their dog Layla, and spending time with family and friends.
Administrative Assistant Konnie was born in Red Wing, MN. She attended Red Wing Technical College. Your first contact at our office will likely be Konnie, as she has been a receptionist at the office for 27 years. Konnie enjoys golfing, landscaping, quilting, walking, biking and working around the house with her husband Mike. She has two sons and three grandchildren, which her and Mike enjoy spending time with.
Licensed Dental Assistant Angie is a licensed dental assistant who resides in Pepin, WI with her family. She graduated from the Dental Assisting Program in 1997 from RCTC in Rochester, MN. She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and going to Milwaukee to watch Brewers baseball with her husband and daughter.
Dental Hygienist Nikki is a native of Goodhue, MN. She spent four years in the Navy before getting her Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene at Rochester Community College. Nikki enjoys spending time with her husband Brian and three children camping at their Hay Creek trailer. Horseback riding is also one of Nikkis passions.
Administrative Assistant Hope was born and raised in Red Wing. She graduated from DCTC with a degree in Fashion Merch/Management. Hope is called the Crazy Yorkie Lady. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Carey, two sons Ryan and Alex, and of course her yorkies. Hope also loves spending time outside riding her side by side.

Hygienists are all great except one. Dentist is fine. Scheduling is a NIGHTMARE! Burned vacation time for a crown I waited 3 MONTHS to get on a sore tooth. 10 am appt. They called to confirm a 10 am appt. I arrived at 9:50 and was attacked by the receptionist Connie saying I was late and she was copping a massive attitude. They had called in another patient I wasn't there at 9:30 and wanted me to reschedule. I went straight to a different dentist who got me in immediately. Not the first time scheduling has been an issue. But the attitude and the one bad hygienist making a snarky comment to another patient while I'm standing there was too much. Finished with this place after 25 years of using them. Don't assume your time is more valuable than mine!

This dentist has a "His way or the Highway" attitude. I always thought the patient has a say in treatments, x-rays, etc. NOT HERE! I had a tooth with a cavity, which he fixed. Said tooth began to hurt a month prior to my next cleaning. I was told the only way I will be seen by him (cleanings, oral exams, or to even discuss things) is to have a full panoramic digital x-ray done. I have always had the bite wing x-rays. I feel they are sufficient. Because I refused his panoramic x-ray, I was not seen by dentist and was asked to find another dentist. He obviously will not stand behind his work. My suggestion is to steer very clear of his practice.

REFRESHING CLEANING APPOINTMENT AT BLUFFSIDE DENTAL. I had a great experience at Bluffside Dental! The front office staff was very helpful in working around my schedule to get me in for their first available appointment. They even followed up when a client cancelled to see if the open time slot would work for me! At my appointment, the dental hygeneisit took great care of me. She was easy to talk with, skilled at her craft and made me feel at ease while cleaning my teeth. The Dentist came in with a friendly, positive attitude when the hygeneisit was done cleaning. He went over my x-rays and the hygienist report with me. Dr. Berger was extremely informative and detailed regarding my dental plan. I appreciated his energy for my future well being. If you have any concerns regarding your oral health, Dr. Berger takes the time to answer your questions thoroughly and honestly. His knowledge about dentistry and the industry is amazing! Thanks for the awesome treatment, Bluffside Dental! I look forward to my next visit!

I highly recommend Bluffside Dental! Our family has had great experiences with the staff there. Dr. Berger was so great with my daughter when she had to have a filling. He took time to make her feel comfortable and even entertained her throughout the procedure. She is excited to go to the dentist every time!

My daughters and I have had a couple cleanings at this dental office. The dentist, Dr. Berger, genuinely cares about his patients. He was open and honest about our dental care. It is clear that he incredibly knowledgeable and believes firmly in doing the job correctly. He was great with my kids! In what can be a very scary environment for the kiddos, Dr. Berger was phenomenal at keeping them calm and cooperative. I very strongly recommend going to this dentist. One additional perk is that he is young, so we will be going to him for many years to come. All of the staff and hygienists were friendly, inviting, took great care of my daughters and I. Great experience all around.
