Dr. Andrea Cardenzana is a graduate of The University of Iowa College of Dentistry in Iowa City, Iowa. Upon graduation, Dr. Cardenzana came to Council Bluffs, Iowa. She practiced with Dr. Schierbrock as an Associate Dentist from 1996-2001, and bought in as a partner in January 2001. Dr. Cardenzana is an affiliate with Southwest Iowa District Dental Association, Delta Sigma Delta Professional Dental Fraternity, Iowa Dental Association, and American Dental Association. Dr Cardenzana and her husband enjoy traveling and stay very busy with their three daughters.
Dr. Caitlin Beresford is a graduate of The University of Iowa College of Dentistry in Iowa City, Iowa. Upon graduation, Dr. Beresford came back to her home town of Council Bluffs, Iowa and has been with Bluffs Family Dentistry since July 2008. Dr. Beresford is an affiliate with Southwest Iowa District Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, and American Dental Association. She is a member of Iowa Cookie Crumbs, Impact CB, Methodist Jennie Edmundson Pink Out, Iowa Western Community College Dental Assistant Advisory Board and the Council Bluffs Water Board. In her spare time, Dr. Beresford enjoys reading, live music, SCUBA diving and traveling with her husband.
All of our dental assistants at Bluffs Family Dentistry are cross-trained in order to maintain an efficient office. We stay current on all of latest advances by taking multiple continuing education courses throughout the year. All of our chair-side assistants are certified in radiography, and we have two assistants with expanded functions certification from IWCC. Our assistants enjoy working with people and feel privileged to be given the opportunity to assist our patients to fulfill their dental needs.
Our Dental Hygiene Team is composed of licensed oral health professionals who play an integral role in assisting patients in achieving and maintaining optimal oral health. In order to educate patients, our hygienists stay current on the latest advances in techniques and products in dental home care. Our Hygiene Team strives to help our patients maintain their dental health by providing regular 6-month dental check-ups and more extensive treatment for patients with periodontal disease. Along with routine cleanings, our hygienists place sealants and take impressions for at-home bleach trays. They look forward to helping you keep your smile bright.
Our front office team is well trained in all areas of insurance, and each member is also a Registered Dental Assistant. We stay current on all of the latest advances in insurance and technology by taking multiple continuing education courses throughout the year. Our front office team enjoys working with people and helping patients to coordinate scheduling and financial treatment planning.

Great staff, very knowledgeable and caring. Clean, comfortable setting. My dentist understands how important my smile is to me and will help me with whatever I need to achieve my best smile. Easy to get to location, I just hop on the interstate!

The receptionist is extremely rude. I called to ask a question and she let's out a huge sigh before she answers me like she hates her job, then follows up with a major attitude. As you can see in other reviews there are multiple complaints about the receptionist. I guess it's not customer service but if you hate people find a new job that doesn't require you to schedule appointments for people/data entry

I was told my husband would have to pay a certain amount when he arrived, he was told a different amount and unknowingly paid it. OVER $1000.00 more than I was told...... I would not trust them again... :(

I am happy to have found such a nice Dental Office. Tara did a great job cleaning my teeth and Dr. Menke has the best bed side manor. He really seems to have your best interest in mind and truly cares. I highly recommend Dr. Menke, Tara and this office!

I am happy to have found such a nice Dental Office. Tara did a great job cleaning my teeth and Dr. Menke has the best bed side manor. He really seems to have your best interest in mind and truly cares. I highly recommend Dr. Menke, Tara and this office!

This office is not for families with children. The receptionists are extremely rude. They refused to reschedule my daughter's appt when I had called 24 hours ahead of her appt. They said I had rescheduled too many times! What kind of practice refuses to let patient's reschedule. I work in insurance and know all about office policies and rules, life gets in the way and when you have 3 children and work full time things come up. They have lost 3 patients and I will never recommend anyone to that office ever again.

Bad billing practices. They incorrectly bill insurance companies known as "double dipping". One annual cleaning gets billed as two, so your second visit you will receive a bill although it is covered under insurance. File a complaint against them for this behavior and they will discontinue seeing you as a patient. Very unprofessional when the patient did nothing wrong.
