Dr. Birgit Schold was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, where she attended the Royal Dental College, Copenhagen University. She graduated from the College of Dentistry, University of Iowa in 1993, and has participated as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Minnesota College of Dentistrys Department of Periodontology.

Dr. Schold is an active member of the ADA, Minnesota Dental Association, and Minnesota Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She has taken a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, actively pursuing continuing education through nationwide seminars and study clubs and continues to maintain a high level of excellence through advanced courses and continuing education.

Dr. Schold resides in Eden Prairie with her husband Randy and their two sons. She is a frequent volunteer at their kids schools and enjoys traveling, gardening, skiing, the outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends.

As the dental industry advances, I recognize the importance of keeping each patient up to date with all of the new and exciting things taking place. Dr. James Betz grew up in Falcon Heights, Minnesota. He attended the University of Minnesota Twin Cities where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Betz continued his education and completed his dental degree at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.

He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Betz continues to further advance his scope of practice with a variety of continuing education courses.

Cathy has been working in the dental field for over 20 years. As office manager at Bluff Creek Dental, Cathy considers the practice and its patients as a part of her family. She thrives on the camaraderie and pride of working in our state-of-the art dental practice. The experiences she has had over the years have taught her much about the field of dentistry and practice management. She enjoys her work and highly respects and admires the doctors and staff at Bluff Creek Dental.

Aleksandra graduated from Herzing University with honors as a Certified and Registered Dental Assistant in 2010. After graduating, she worked as an assistant and now enjoys working with the administration side of our dental practice in Minneapolis. She feels privileged to work with such an amazing staff that always places their patients first.

Nancy has 20 years in dental office experience. She started her career as a Licensed Dental Assistant before moving into the business side of the dental practice. Her background in dentistry ranges from her experience as an assistant to office manager. Here at Bluff Creek Dental, Nancy is our Accounts Payable Specialist and Insurance Claims Coordinator.

Sam grew up in Virginia where she got a degree in dental hygiene. She worked as a hygienist in Texas before moving to MN with her husband and two children. She is passionate, understanding and motivated to help others achieve and maintain a healthy beautiful smile.

As a Hygienist, my goal is to make sure my patients feel relaxed and comfortable, while provide them with excellent care. I love getting to know my patients and enjoy checking-up on their lives during our regular visits

I graduated from Hennepin Technical College earning a degree in Dental Assisting. I strive to do the best I can to help others and make sure your visit here is the best visit possible. The Bluff Creek Dental Team has taught me the fundamentals of assisting and the importance of treating our patients like family. I couldnt imagine working for a better dental practice and Im grateful for this opportunity to work with such a caring team.

Being a dental assistant is so much more than assisting! I love the variety of each day, patient, and every case! Being chairside to make patients feel special and comfortable is the best feeling in the world!

Jessie graduated from Lakeland Academy in 1996. She completed Restorative Expanded Functions certification at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2007. The certification allows her to place certain restorations and perform other advanced duties. Jessie is also certified in the delivery and monitoring of Nitrous Oxide.
