Dr. Brent Lenz trained for over 11 years in order to specialize in the practice of Orthodontics. He attended Duke University for his undergraduate education and then proceeded to the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. Dr. Lenz was one of only two members of his class to graduate with honors and distinction at North Carolina. Dr. Lenz then went on to complete his orthodontic training from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Dr. Lenz is a member of the American and Southern Association of Orthodontists, to name a few.
Dr. Lenz lives in Harrisonburg with his wife, Amy, their two sons, and two Golden Retrievers who are often found in the office looking for attention. He is a member of several local organizations, including the Harrisonburg Lions Club, where he is a past president and has been instrumental in raising over a quarter million dollars for local sight needs. Dr. Lenz swam competitively for 16 years and played water polo for 8years, and volunteers as an assistant coach for the Spotswood Country Club swim team in the summer.
