Dr. Stan Ferguson is a native Kentuckian and received his D.M.D. and M.S. in Orthodontics from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. He has maintained a practice in Lexington and Paris, KY since 1995. Dr. Ferguson enjoys golf, gardening, reading and spending time with his wife and two sons.
Dr. Julie Rambo Vinton was born and raised in Lexington, where she graduated as valedictorian at Tates Creek High School and received her undergraduate degree from Transylvania University. She earned her dental degree at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 2004 and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Vinton completed her residency in Orthodontics and obtained a Master of Science in Dentistry at St. Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education in 2006. Dr. Rambo Vinton and her husband, Scott Vinton, have two young sons. They are avid UK fans and enjoy cheering on the Cats at their games! In her free time, she loves exercising, running 5Ks, shopping, and watching her boys play sports. She is active in the PTA at Veterans Park Elementary and frequently volunteers at St. Michaels Preschool. Being a mom has made Dr. Rambo Vinton realize how important it is to treat her patients with love, respect, and kindness, just as she would treat her own children.

We take the time to get to know each and every one of our patients and design a customized treatment plan that will achieve the highest quality work in the least amount of time. We strive to deliver treatment in a gentle and respectful manner, making your treatment as comfortable and effective as possible.

I called and spoke with Izzy who was incredibly rude and clearly could care less about assisting paitents. If you do not have insurance, according to Izzy, they cannot legally even set an appointment to see you. When I told her I understood I would coming out of pocket thousands of dollars and was okay with that, she told me it didn't matter.

Dr Ferguson has been amazing w all three of my daughters. His expertise allowed preventive interventions to correct my daughter's bite without having to take the next steps (possible surgery). His talent gave my oldest not only a beautiful smile but the gift of self confidence too! We are grateful for the whole practice made up of amazing staff and doctors!

My son's two-year orthodontic experience was great! He was eight years old when he got braces and his appliance. (The process was soooooo easy and gentle compared to what I went through in the late '80s!) I'm thankful for Dr. Rambo's expertise. The Team was always polite, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Dr Ferguson is incredible, and he always makes appointments and treatment fun and comfortable. He keeps us informed and educated every step of the way. It's unfortunate that the staff answering phones is not as helpful or welcoming. Their unprofessional and rude behavior has become commonplace for the last two years and has only been exacerbated by COVID protocols, making checking in, scheduling appointments, and asking about care and treatment plans exceptionally stressful. The exam area is now the only place we feel valued. This morning's interaction while trying to check in cemented in my mind that we would refuse ongoing treatment if we were told it had to be extended. Thankfully there will be only one more appointment and my kid's treatment will be complete. The truth is, no matter how good your medical provider is, front office staff attitudes and behavior are a huge factor in patient satisfaction. Dr Ferguson is a 5-star orthodontist, but the fact that we were ready to find another orthodontist so late in a second child's treatment because of the way front office staff consistently treats us should be a wake up call to the practice.
