Dr. Collins is a transplant from the East coast. After completing undergrad at Virginia Tech and Dental School at the University of Maryland, he journeyed across the country to enjoy the relaxed culture and outdoor recreational attractions that Colorado has to offer. From music at Red Rocks to Broncos games at Mile High, BBQs with friends, to snowboarding and camping in the Rockies, Dr. Collins enjoys all of the local flavor that Denver provides. One of his favorite pastimes would certainly have to be spending time hiking, running, and playing with his dog Orion. Dr. Collins has a jovial and easygoing personality who can bring the fun to any situation.
I understand that every patient comes from a diverse background of experiences with different needs. It is my goal to gain your trust and work together so that we can achieve the best results that you expect and deserve. Dr. Scott Czarnik is originally from Chicago. He studied Chemistry and went on to earn his Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the University of Illinois. After dental school, Dr. Czarnik attended the esteemed University of Minnesota for his orthodontic residency training. He has continued his pursuit of excellence in blending art and science by working across the country and even volunteering his time at rural clinics in Guatemala. As an outdoor enthusiast he finally found his calling in the great state of Colorado. He and his wife Carolyn love exploring the Rocky Mountains and taking in all that this beautiful state has to offer.
Dr. Abby Szlachta completed her Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio. She then pursued a career in dentistry at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and completed her general practice residency at the University of Washington. Dr. Szlachta chose to study dentistry because she is motivated to help patients optimize their oral health. Additionally, she appreciates the many facets of dentistry that allow her to be a leader, an artist, and a healthcare provider.

There are many cosmetic dental procedures available to improve your teeth and enhance your smile. Teeth Whitening:Bleaching lightens teeth that have been stained or discolored by age, food, drink, and smoking. Teeth darkened as a result of injury or taking certain medications can also be bleached, but the effectiveness depends on the degree of staining present.
Composite (tooth-colored) Fillings:Also known as bonding, composite fillings are now widely used instead of amalgam (silver) fillings to repair teeth with cavities, and also to replace old defective fillings. Tooth-colored fillings are also used to repair chipped, broken, or discolored teeth. This type of filling is also very useful to fill in gaps and to protect sensitive, exposed root surfaces caused by gum recession.
Porcelain Veneers:Veneers are thin custom-made, tooth-colored shells that are bonded onto the fronts of teeth to create a beautiful individual smile. They can help restore or camouflage damaged, discolored, poorly shaped, or misaligned teeth. Unlike crowns, veneers require minimal tooth structure to be removed from the surface of the tooth.
Porcelain Crowns (caps):A crown is a tooth-colored, custom-made covering that encases the entire tooth surface restoring it to its original shape and size. Crowns protect and strengthen teeth that cannot be restored with fillings or other types of restorations. They are ideal for teeth that have large, fractured or broken fillings and also for those that are badly decayed.
Dental Implants:Dental implants are artificial roots that are surgically placed into the jaw to replace one or more missing teeth. Porcelain crowns, bridges, and dentures can be made specifically to fit and attach to implants, giving a patient a strong, stable, and durable solution to removable dental appliances.
Orthodontics:Less visible and more effective brackets and wires are making straightening teeth with orthodontics much more appealing to adult patients. Also, in some cases, teeth may be straightened with custom-made, clear, removable aligners that require no braces.

I have real anxiety about dentist appointments and after my experience with this place I am sold. My dentist found a second root in a tooth that no one saw when doing the root canal years ago and he fixed me!! He settled my anxiety and put my health first. Great job! I'm so grateful

I have had nothing but positive experiences since I began coming to Bluebird. The entire staff has been very professional, kind, thorough and helpful in ensuring that I have the best possible experience. I have had a deep cleaning, fillings and a crown and have been extremely satisfied with the work they have done and very comfortable throughout the entire process from check-in to follow up. I would definitely recommend using them.

I was so amazed! This location is close to my house, it's very beautiful and clean inside and all the staff are extremely kind, caring, and knowledgeable. I was impressed with all the different kinds and amount of x-rays. I feel very confident in the work that will soon be performed.

I was referred by a friend to Dr. Collins after a shady interaction with another dentistry, and I knew I was in great hands the moment he sat me down and poured a wealth of knowledge to better understand what was happening to my teeth and the best treatment plan that would fit all my needs! Haven't been this satisfied and at easy with a practice for ages!

The best care I've ever experienced at the dentist. I previously have had a few negative experiences going to other offices and those experiences have caused quite a bit of stress when going to the dentist. Ingrid is the hygienist that did my cleaning, and I immediately noticed the care and consideration she has when working with patients. It is evident to me that providing a very positive experience for patients is a top priority for Ingrid while providing top quality work. She additionally noticed some weak areas where I was brushing and gave me advice to ensure I get all the spots in the future. I had to get additional work done, and Dr. Collins was the one to provide that service. He has a strong patient-first mentality and truly cares for a positive experience for anyone he sees. Additionally, his attitude and respect he shows towards his staff demonstrates strong leadership that most definitely carries over to the positive experience with the patients. During his work he even had me hold a mirror to show me what he was working on and why. He also constantly checked in to see how I was doing during the work to ensure I was feeling comfortable. This made me feel the most relaxed I've ever had while getting work done! I will continue to go to Bluebird for my dental work as I feel as though I have found the gem of dental offices. Never have I felt that going to the dentist could be a mentally positive experience, but the staff at Bluebird have officially changed my mentality about that!
