I love creating beautiful smiles through orthodontics. Every day, I get to change peoples lives in a positive way. Its challenging, like a puzzle, to find the right treatment plan for each persons needs, and I enjoy solving each puzzle with science and aesthetics in mind. It is fascinating and extremely rewarding to see the changes in peoples confidence as their smiles improve. Knowing that Ive had a hand it, that is why I come to work every day.
I always loved seeing my orthodontist when I had braces and was amazed by how much my new smile changed my life. Now I feel blessed to be able to give my patients the same experience I had as a child.
At our orthodontic practice, we work hard to treat our patients the same way we would like to be treated: with respect, professionalism, and sensitivity toward our needs. We understand the expectations of the patients and families we serve, and we do everything we can to make sure that each patient has an exceptional experience at our practice.

Great business, full of employees who care about their patients. Dr. Maro is very knowledgeable about his practice and will be patient to make sure your tooth are improved no matter how long it takes. Highly suggest!

I have had three of my children with Bluewave orthodontist -and not only do they have beautiful smiles, but also this wonderful caring staff and Dr Maro have treated them like family members. From the organized scheduling and timely appointment routines to the individual care and concern for each person- the office visits are fast and stress free. I interviewed several other orthodontists before finding Dr Maro. For me it is worth my drive of 30 minutes to their office because they the absolute best orthodontics in the area.

The staff is so nice and comforting! It's also a great place for siblings because there are a few arcade games available to play for free! I currently have braces and my teeth are getting straighter. The appointments are usually really quick, the most time I have spent at an appointment including the wait time (other than getting my braces on) was only 20 minutes! It's a really nice atmosphere for kids and the results are great!

After going to another orthodontics for four years I had my daughter see Dr.Marro and right away he put her on a program that resulted in a perfect smile. My daughter had many issues and Dr. Marro solved it all. Dr. G and the staff have been a pleasure to work with.I asked for a perfect smile and that is what I got for my daughter from Dr. Marro.

My daughter went to Dr. Peter Maro and had a wonderful experience! She got her braces on in June of 2020 and by June of 2021 her teeth were perfect and her braces were off! Dr. Maro is exceptionally good at what he does and it really showed in the quality of care that he gave to our daughter. The office staff is also incredible. They are all friendly, helpful and extremely professional. Scheduling appointments was easy and always worked with our busy schedule. I highly recommend going to Blue Wave Orthodontics and will be taking my son here once he needs braces!

I have sent all three of my kids to Dr Maro for braces and they all have perfect teeth now. I recently became a patient as well for Invisalign and have been extremely happy with my results. He and his staff are always friendly, knowledgable and professional. I would highly recommend Blue Wave Orthodontics as our family has had a wonderful experience.

Went to Dr. Maro to finish some details and make slight visual changes to my smile, and the results were absolutely perfect and exactly what I wanted! This is my second time to have adult braces, but I wish had gone to Dr. Maro the first time around!

Aside from straightening my son's teeth (they were pointing in all directions) the team at the Darien office can not be easier to work with. What impressed me most was during our consult, they didn't just say what they would straighten my son's teeth, they explained how they would do it and why they felt method would work best. Both Dr. Maro and Dr. Gragaitis are patient, thorough and made sure all of my questions and concerns were addressed. I would recommend this practice to anyone, of any age!

I have nothing but excellent things to say about our experience at Blue Wave Orthodontics. For those of us in Darien, the office is conveniently located. The main receptionist, Corinne, is one of the kindest and most capable people I've ever met. She is warm, efficient, and welcoming. Dr. Maro made my son's mouth, which started as a complete dumpster fire, into a thing of real beauty. We were always able to get an appointment when we needed one, the wait times were nonexistent, and the arcade at the office provided fun for my other kids. Dr. Maro did everything he said he was going to do in the timeframe he promised and if anything, we were done sooner than expected. My second child is currently a patient there and we are having just as fabulous an experience with her. She has seen Dr. G. more than Dr. Maro and she is also amazing. She basically held my hand through the palate expander experience and never lost her cool with me. We are big fans!

Dr. Maro and Dr. Grigaitis are absolutely wonderful, precise and professional with their orthodontic work. The staff is very friendly, and the appointments are easy to schedule and run on time. The waiting room is fun for little siblings as well. Highly recommend!
