Dr. Ben and Dr. Lee are a husband-and-wife team. Each has completed rigorous post-dental-degree training in pediatric dentistry. They are highly experienced in the unique dental concerns of infants, children, adolescents, and special needs patients and they tailor care to the individual. Their advanced education and testing have resulted in each becoming board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Our doctors are also parents, so they understand that families have specific goals and desires. They will spend time learning what you want for your child and work with you to identify the appropriate treatment for your little one.

The doctors will never recommend a care approach they would not use on their own child, and will never pressure you into pursuing a particular treatment. Instead, they will be your partners as your son or daughter matures into a young adult with optimal oral health and passion for caring for their smile!

Dr. Davis is a native of Durham. Three weeks after he was born, his family moved to the South Pacific island of Guam. Six years after that, he returned to the small mountain town of Sylva, where he spent the remainder of his childhood.

Dr. Davis completed his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he received a BA in biology. He furthered his education with a BS in pharmacy at the University of North Carolina. After practicing pharmacy for six years, Dr. Davis started dental school. He graduated with honors from the UNC School of Dentistry.

He practiced for a year as a general dentist in Durham. Then Dr. Davis completed specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He is a board-certified pediatric dentist.

Dr. Boo Lee was born in Seoul, Korea and raised in Leland. She went to UNC-Chapel Hill to obtain a Bachelor of Science in nutrition. Dr. Lee returned to the University of North Carolina and accepted a full scholarship from the NC Board of Governors to attend dental school.

She sought further training in general dentistry by completing a one-year general practice residency program at York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. Dr. Lee continued her education by completing a two-year pediatric dental residency at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She is a board-certified pediatric dentist.

Being a Florida girl at heart,the ocean is still (and always will be)my happy place. I enjoy exploring, photography and tryingthe new food spots. I lovemeeting all of our beautiful families and being partof an amazing team dedicated to making dental visits comfortable and exciting for the whole family

I am originally from Long Island, New York. We are now proud to call North Carolina our home. I am married to my high school sweetheart and together we have our sweet son and mini-schnoodle. We enjoy traveling, going to the beach, hiking and watching movies. I am very fortunate to work with such an amazing team at Blue Water. Each of us loves what we do and we all work together to make visits as positive as possible for our patients. All of our patients and parents bring smiles to our faces daily. I hope that every family coming to our office gets a sense of how dedicated and passionate we are about their care.

I am originally from Texas, but now call North Carolina home.I am newly wed since September 2019 and am loving every minute of it. In my free time, my husband and I enjoy going to the movies and love being with familyand friends.
