Our staff are experienced professionals trained in cultural sensitivity as well as being multilingual and speak fluent Mandarin, Korean, Hindi, Urdu, and Spanish.

It is important to him that you never be over sold and are always completely satisfied with your treatment plan. If youre not happy, Dr. Alex is not happy.

I have been going to Dr. Alex Yen for 7 years as a graduate student from Stanford under their Cardinal Care health insurance. Alex is an amazing dentist that is highly detail oriented, patient, kind, and informative. He is constantly upgrading his practice and thinking of new ways to improve his craft which is a rare quality. He takes consistent notes and remembers all the ins and outs of my teeth. The overall office is great and very organized. I highly recommend Blue Turtle Dental and Dr. Yen.

Further to my review below....they have taken on too many patients and now it's too hard to get a weekend appointment. Blue Turtle Dental have offered our family of 5 high quality dental care and advice in a friendly way. The practice is run in an organised, efficient way and they even offer some extra fun for the kids with toys and Halloween activities. My kids are jealous when their sibling has an appointment and they don't!

Everyone in the office was very kind and professional. They respond very quickly to my emails and texts. They took care of everything including verifying my insurance, all I had to do was show up!

I asked 3 times if they are in network with guardian before coming here for long term commitment. I brought my wife and our two children as well. I then received benefits statement saying they are out of network. The response that I got from the practice that the new management instructed them to "misrepresent" about this to increase number of patients and then soften it by saying the difference of 20-30% isn't worth the switch. The positive: the service itself was great.

Used to be a super warm and welcoming practice. It was sold and now feels transactional and cold. The polish/cleaning is minimal nd they don't give out toothbrushes or floss.

The staff here is absolutely excellent. My 5 year old is a naturally shy and somewhat worried guy, and they made him feel so welcome and comfortable. He had a baby tooth cavity so gnarly that they had to remove it rather than fill it, and not only were they so great with him, but I felt 0 shame as a parent about this, and I think that's pretty huge, too. We've seen other dentists in the past but have *never* felt this great after leaving. We mainly reside in Sacramento but we will be using Blue Turtle Dental exclusively moving forward. If that doesn't show you how obsessed we are, I don't know what will! I really can't recommend this place more.

The customer service and attention to detail at Blue Turtle Dental is outstanding! The office manager Jenny Pan bent over backwards to make me feel comfortable and well taken care of. She is both competent and kind and is an incredible asset to Blue Turtle Dental. I required many referrals to various specialists and Jenny booked them all for me and followed up with texts and calls to make sure everything went smoothly. After visiting one of the specialists, I had a minor complication that Dr. Yen fixed for me in a matter minutes and free of charge. He made me feel very relaxed and welcomed in an otherwise uncomfortable situation. I would definitely recommend Blue Turtle Dental to anyone who is looking for great dental care with an incredible team of caring individuals.

The staff is very welcoming and polite! Jenny, who is the Practice Coordinator, is amazing and goes above and beyond. From the first day I called the office, Jenny got back to me quickly and answered all my questions. Jenny and Hellen are super friendly and do a great job in updating me about my mother's insurance, reminding me of upcoming appointments, and even take the time to go over the treatment plans if I have further questions. Dr. Yen and Dr. Hussain are amazing! They explain step by step what they are doing and the treatment plans they are recommending. This is by far the best dental office I have been to! They have so much patience for my elderly mother. They are gentle, make sure she gets breaks in between treatments, and that she understands the process. I started going as a patient myself. Blue Turtle Dental is also taking COVID-19 safety precautions seriously by asking screening questions, taking your temperature, maintaining social distancing and disinfecting in between patients. I would definitely recommend Blue Turtle Dental to anyone who is looking for a clean, caring, and professional dental team!

Dr. Yen is amazing! When Blue Turtle welcomed Dr. Yen we were a bit anxious about a new dentist for our family. From the start, Jenny reached out and provide a personal reassurance that they really cared about their patients. Dr. Yen has amazing manners and is an excellent dentist. The staff and doctors at Blue Turtle are exceptional. I took my elderly mother who had a bad experience with dental work in the past, and this has a lot of anxiety. I wanted to be sure that I selected the right dental office because of these fears. Jenny, the office manager was just excellent! She is friendly, pleasant and professional. Her responsiveness to calls and questions made things go very smoothly. The dentists also were excellent, kind caring and did a great job. Highly recommend this office!

I've been a patient at Blue Turtle Dental for the past two years. My experience here has been truly amazing. All of the staff members are very caring and strive to promote good dental health. From brushing technics to teeth whiting they offer it all. Additionally, Blue Turtle Dental follows all the proper precautions in order to keep their patients safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many other people I've been to mulitiple dental offices and never seem to feel joy going to the dentist let alone an appominent. My oyfriend found Blue Turtle Dental last year I am incredibly happy he did. The staff is AMAZING Jenny is such an incredible person with an open heart to help others. She has gone above and beyond to help my boyfriend and I taken care of, making sure the insurance provider pays their portion and Jenny we are thankful for you. Jenny will take the time to make sure the patient is aware of the all the details needed towards insurance, payments, appointments you name it she can help you. We are greatful to have found Blue Turtle Dental. Dr. Yen and Dr. Munazzah they both have helped me with my deep cleanings and they take their time in making sure the work iks done perfect. Very professional and always looking to help their patients the best wayh possible to the best of their abilties. Go check them out.

The staffs and dentists at Blue Turtle Dental are outstanding. It is a lot coming from someone, who have always dislike dental appointments. Their office manager, Jenny Pan, is a very capable and warm person. She went above and beyond to make sure that I was relaxed and comfortable before my appointments. Also, she would send me text messages to follow up and make sure I am recovering well. If I have any questions, she will respond promptly. As for Dr. Alex Yen, he is very attentive. I have brought to his attention that I have been having difficulties flossing for many years. When Dr. Yen looked and noticed 4 of my molars (2 on each side) were pressed together as if they were fused together, he performed a dental procedure called Odontoplasty (shaved and reshaped my impacted molars to give them some space). I am surprised such procedure existed. I have brought up my difficulties with flossing my back molars with previous dentists each year. Yet, none of my previous dentists has taken the initiative to address my concerns. Now, I can floss without any difficulties. Thank you, Dr. Yen!! I would recommend Blue Turtle Dental to anyone who wants an attentive dentist and team.

I can't say enough good things about this place! I was very nervous about going to a dentist after moving in from a different country and not understanding how payments and treatment plans in the US work. I chipped a tooth and turned out I needed quite a bit of work done. The practice coordinator, Jenny Pan, went above and beyond to make sure I had the best experience possible, especially in the beginning! She reassured me and helped me understand what was going on every step of the way. Both Dr. Yen and, later, Dr. Munazzah have been fantastic: Thorough, kind respectful and professional. I'd been terrified of going back to the dentist to the point of being irresponsible but, bit by bit, they've been helping me get my teeth back in shape. I can't thank Blue Turtle enough!

Our whole family has been going to Blue Turtle Dental for the last two years and we're always very well taken care of. Dr Munnazah is very detailed and the team has been wonderful especially with our kids. Our child had to have his teeth pulled out recently and Dr Munnazah was patient in explaining what was going to happen and he felt reassured throughout the whole procedure. I would highly recommend their practice for families with children.

The staff and dentists at Blue Turtle are friendly, thorough and top professional. My family and I have been going there for more than five years and have only gotten the best service and treatment, whether it is a regular cleaning or having oral surgery. If we have any concerns, we just reach out, and the office manager, Jenny, is always fast to respond and to find time if needed.
