Dr. William Ledford graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City Dental School in 1992. Prior to dental school, he attended Drury University. Dr. Ledford has been actively practicing dentistry since 1998. Dr. Ledford feels strongly about continuing education. He exceeds annual CE requirements by taking courses and receiving advanced training in a variety of dental topics, including TruDenta training at the Las Vegas Dental Institute. He wants to make sure his patients receive the most up-to-date care possible. As a dentist, his goal is to help our patients maintain their teeth for a lifetime and educate them on how to do so. Dr. Ledford and his wife, Amy, recently celebrated their 25th anniversary. Together they have three children, Kameron, Evan, and Olivia. Over the last decade, Dr. Ledford has sponsored various girls and boys sports teams in the community. When not at the office, you are likely to find him at the golf course.
Karsen moved to Kansas City after graduating from Dental Assisting School. She practiced as an assistant before moving into the business side of dentistry. She has a passion for the dental field as well as for creating a perfect environment and experience for each and every patient. Outside of the dental world, Karsen dedicates the majority of her time to exercise and community outreach. She is a volunteer soccer coach for the Grandview Parks and Rec Department. While she does have a beautiful husband and two beautiful children, she also has the greatest cat family of all time consisting of Jude, Toby, and a calico named Rachel.
Crystal graduated in 2005 with her bachelors degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. She has worked with Dr. Ledford for 11 years and counting. Crystal enjoys educating all patients on their specific dental hygiene needs. She performs thorough cleanings, scaling and root planing, oral cancer screenings, and digital X-rays. Crystal is also certified in administering local anesthetics, nitrous oxide, and CPR. Crystal has been married to her husband, Kyle, since June 2005. They have two beautiful children, Juliana and Dominic. Crystal stays busy spending time with her family, shopping, and keeping up with her kids many activities.
Erica was born and raised here in the Kansas City area. She graduated from Johnson County Community College in 2014 with a dental hygiene degree and is licensed in both Kansas and Missouri. Erica values building relationships with her patients and making them feel comfortable when they are in her care. Ericas dedication for helping patients achieve the best health possible shows in the improvements in their overall health. In her spare time, Erica enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, friends and family, coaching youth soccer, gardening, and working out.
Gina is Dr. Lefords full-time assistant and has been with him for 10 years and counting. She has been in the dental field as an assistant for 26 years. She is a people person, so helping patients feel relaxed and comfortable comes easy to her. Gina was raised in a military family. She started her dental studies in high school while stationed in Naples, Italy. Upon returning to the states, she continued her studies by working as a volunteer in a dental office. She currently lives in Independence, MO, with her husband and their three much-loved dogs. They have raised a son and daughter who are grown and out of the nest. Her son has recently blessed her with a grandson who is the joy of her life.

PLEASE I repeat DO NOT allow this dental office to provide you service. I scheduled a dentist appt for my fiance here and I was told one price at the time of scheduling his appt but he was charged a whole other price after service was done. Once he shared the price he was charged with me I then called the Dr's office the next morning to ask what that service charge was as if I were a random person calling for myself. I was still told a lesser amount than what he was charged just the day before. Neither the initial amount at the time of setting his appt nor the second amount I was told added up to what he was charged. After waiting over 20 minutes on hold finally speaking with a hygienist and then the Dentist about the issue nothing was resolved. No accountability nor empathy was shown. I decided I would then cancel my appt for the week and not have any further dealings with this office. I was told my fiance could not be refunded the difference for what he was overcharged for. PLEASE don't not waste your time. Very dishonest dental office If I were told nothing else to be more true in life, it is to treat others as you want and wish to be treated.

Here's the estimate they'll give you for the TMJ clinic. No options, you have to get the full treatment plan. I just wanted to get a retainer to help ease the tension, but they won't tell you anything about the plan or pricing unless you spend $400 on an appointment. Hopefully this stops someone from wasting their money. They also tell everyone that you have trouble sleeping and need to go to their sleep clinic. Very annoying.

I hadn't been to the dentist in years and I have huge anxiety about them. They eased my fears and made me feel safe while I cried. I have more complicated issues and they explained the issues with out over worrying me.

I have suffered from numerous broken and neglected teeth over the years. Because of difficult experiences in my youth, I have often tried to avoid going to the dentist. This was a bad strategy. One day it all caught up with me. Fortunately, my insurance carrier directed me to Dr. William D. Ledford. He and his staff are gifted dental care providers and they have made a tough situation bearable. They have done this without making me feel bad for ignoring my teeth. This is a good group that I would recommend to friends and family.

Highly recommend Blue Stream Dental (Watts Mill Shopping Center - 103rd Street). Have been using this office for over 30 years and cannot say enough good about them. Yesterday I had my teeth cleaned and found out that I needed some work done ASAP. They worked me in today and took care of me. New crown, and two cavities and they saved me from having to get a root canal. Dr Ledford and his staff are top notch.

Excellent practice. Both the Doctor and his staff went out of their way to get me in when I had a tooth emergency. I would highly recommend them as I plan on being a long term patient of Dr. Ledford.

I have been going to Dr. Ledford for over 20 years. When I got married my whole family started to goto him and they never went to the dentist on a regular basis before. He is the very best dentist by far! Novocaine shots never hurt and he always explains everything and gives you the best options considering your insurance, flex monies, etc. And they are super friendly! I always love going there no matter what I am having done. They are like family!

I have been a patient of Dr. Ledfords at this location for over 10 years. I went to another dental clinic one time and i felt like an adulterer!!! Lol. Needless to say, I haven't cheated since and I love my dentist and his team. I was Just in this morning, and took notice of the team work and pleasant disposition and overall warmth of the office. Thank yaw!!! I love Yaw!!!

Seen me at the last minute on a Saturday I'm truck driver from Atlanta and I wouldn't be back home for a week or two and they were able to see me and help with my discomfort. Nice friendly staff thank you all so much.
