As a dentist, my main goal is to listen to my patients and address their dental concerns. My patients comfort and well-being are my top priorities, and utilizing the best technology in dentistry allows me to provide the most advanced treatment options for achieving and maintaining a healthy smile.
Dr. Gutberg grew up in Tel Aviv, Israel and served as an officer in the military in the Intelligence Corps. He then moved to the United States and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Neuroscience from Brandeis University in Massachusetts. Following this, he earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from Case Western University in Cleveland, Ohio. After receiving his doctorate, Dr. Gutberg completed a residency in New York City where he trained in advanced clinical techniques. Life then took him to Michigan, where Dr. Gutberg practiced dentistry while his wife completed her masters degree in Ann Arbor.
I have been in the dental field for over 34 years. I started my career as a Certified Dental Assitant and later earned my Dental Hygiene Degree from the University of Colorado. My priority is to provide a personal and gentle experience for my patients.
I enjoy catching up with my patients every 6 months. It's amazing when you treat the family and just watch the children grow into young adults. Every day is exciting. I love what I do and love to meet new patients.
Although I grew up in California, Colorado has been great to me. I love the people and had the opportunity to continue my education, receiving my Bachelor of Science from CU Denver. After I finished school, I was offered the chance to move into the world of dentistry. As the office manager, my goalis to help patients understand every aspect of their dental care. I learn so much every day and enjoy talking and joking with our patients.
I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and am a tried and true Buckeye. Every Saturday in the fall you will find my whole family in Scarlet and Gray cheering them on! I receivedmy Bachelor of Arts in Health with minors in Exercise Science and Psychologyin 2011 from The University of Mount Union.
I met my husband in 2010 which is when the adventures began! After we got married, he joined The United States Air Force which has taken us from Coast to Coast. Most recently landing us here in Colorado. We both love the outdoors, so Colorado was love at first (mountain) sight! We have 2 rambunctious toddlers which keep us on our toes. We love to explore the mountains any chance we get as a family and can't wait until we get the chance to introduce our boys to the snowy mountains and skiing!

I was born and raised in Colorado Springs and have lived in Aurora for almost three years. Initially I began working at Blue Sky Smiles as an extern. At the end of my term Dr. Gutberg asked me if I would like to join the TEAM. Obviously I said yes - and I am so happy working here.
I am a Colorado native who has only been to the mountains twice in my lifetime. I have only gone in the Summer since I am not a big fan of Winter. While working two jobs I went to school full time at Pickens Technical College for dental assisting.
With my free time I enjoy going to the movies, eating out and hanging out with friends and family. My favorite genres of movies are comedy, action and thrillers. I also enjoy listening to music and finding new songs to put on my playlist.

My experience with Blue Sky Smiles is of a kind and efficient group of professionals and their office is immaculately clean. They treated my husband, who suffered from dementia, with the greatest patience and respect. I interviewed multiple dental offices prior to choosing this for our dental team and none came even close to their level of care. I found Dr. Tom Gutberg, Rachel and all the staff I interacted with to be exceptionally knowledgeable and always patient answering my many questions.

I have been going to Blue Sky Smiles for years. When I first walked in I was so scared from so many bad dental experiences in my past that I had to be medicated for treatment. Now, I feel like I am visiting friends. I love the doctor, and the staff. I got my smile back. They take wonderful care of me, I know what to expect, and no longer fearful. I am so lucky to have this Dentist. He is dedicated, very smart, understanding, and kind. If you go any where else for dental care, you're missing the best dentist (and staff) in the Denver metro area!

All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you! These people are simply amazing. I've had some really doozy dentists recently where I not only didn't feel safe, I didn't feel cared about on any level. These folks today, I think have restored my sanity and faith in decent human beings. Every single person in this office today were kind, friendly, welcoming, and professional. I am excited to move forward with them in my treatment plan, and so grateful for these people, I finally feel like I made it to my home dentist! Thank you so much, all of you, for being YOU! I have extreme dental anxiety and I have never been made to feel silly or childish for crying, or needing anxiety medication for my appointments. Everyone from the receptionist, nurses and Dr Gutberg have all been very understanding and extremely kind during my visits. It feels more like being with friends. They ask about my family, how my vacation was etc. I recommend Blue Sky Smiles to everyone. I will never go to another dentist! Dr Gutberg is absolutely amazing!!!

This is the best dentist office I have been to in all my experience. I would certainly have lost several of my front teeth if it weren't for Dr. Gutberg and his staff! I've learned more about what is going on with my teeth and what I need to do to take care of them than I have with all the other dentists that I have been to combined. Everyone is friendly, professional, and very good at what they do. Dr. Gutberg took the time to make sure I understood what my options were, and answered all my questions. Absolutely recommended!
