Dr. Jennifer L. Thompson is a native of Colorado. She grew up in Colorado Springs and received her BS in biology and DDS degrees from The Ohio State University. After attending a one-year General Practice Residency at the VA Hospital in Denver, Colorado, and two years of general practice focused on pediatrics, Dr. Jenn began her formal training in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Jenn received her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Temple University Hospital. She was selected as Chief Resident during her second year and received the Richard C. Pugh Award for scoring in the top 3% of the national written board exam. In September 2011, she passed her oral boards and is now a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Licensed to practice in Colorado, Dr. Jenn is Board Certified by The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She holds her Moderate Sedation License by the State of Colorado and has attending privileges at Childrens Hospital Colorado . She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), American Dental Association (ADA), Colorado Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (CAPD), Colorado Dental Association (CDA) and the Metro Denver Dental Society (MDDS).
Dr. Jenn is a board member for the Colorado non-profit Kids in Need of Dentistry. KIND provides affordable dental care and education to Colorados children in need. Dr. Jenn is chairman of the operations committee and helps with the KIND dental clinics in the Denver Metro area. She also serves on the Community Outreach and PR Committee for MDDS (Metro Denver Dental Society).
Her true passion is giving back to those in need and volunteers her time and resources to Dental Lifeline Network, 9News Health Fair, Colorado Mission of Mercy (COMOM), Give Kids a Smile Day, and Smile for a Lifetime.
Dr. Jenn is an ardent sports fan (Go Broncos!) especially football and tennis. She enjoys traveling our country and the world to explore different cultures. She loves the outdoors and is an avid hiker and skier and also enjoys cooking.
Dr. Jennifer L. Thompson is a board certified pediatric dentist serving infants, children, teens and children with special health care needs in Highlands Ranch, CO and the surrounding cities of Littleton, Centennial, and Lone Tree.

I love blue sky! Their front office staff is always friendly. The assistants are so good with my children and make them feel comfortable. Dr Jenn is gentle and very personable. She is calm and makes the experience not as stressful.

We had THE best experience at Blue Sky Pediatric Dentistry. My 3.5 year old had never been to the dentist (with all the Covid things we just had not taken him). We had a recommendation to go there, and it was AMAZING. My son was "scared" of the dentist, and was REFUSING to go. Once I got him there, he was shy and scared. The hygienist Caden was FANTASTIC! She showed him all of the tools and even let him spray the water. Dr. Jen was equally as wonderful. After we walked out the door my son said "Mommy, I love the dentist now". I had some anxiety from my own past about taking him, but it was just the BEST experience for both of us!

Dr. Jennifer Thompson is AMAZING! Both of my boys have been nervous about doctor and dentist visits. Dr. Jennifer and the staff have been AMAZING at helping them understand why they go to the dentist and have made them so incredibly comfortable. Every visit we get to meet amazing people that make the kids have a grand time. They look forward to the dentist. HIGHLY recommend!

We just had our first appointment and I cannot say enough good things about this team!!!! Stacey was extremely patient with my son and really took her time to make sure he felt comfortable. Dr Jenn was so amazing, really did a great job listening to all of our concerns and I just left saying "wow". We will literally never go anywhere else, they treated my son so well and I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

When it comes to children you want the best the kindest and the most experienced. It was just this last week when my child broke her tooth on a hike this all happened during the shutdown of COVID-19. I called blue sky pediatric dentistry and within the hour we met Jennifer Thompson and she did an amazing job. She brought laughter and happiness to the situation that was not so happy. My daughter smile looks completely beautiful. Everyone at blue sky dentistry went above and beyond. Dr Thompson did an outstanding job not only to my daughter smile but to her confidence and brightening everybody's day.

This office deserves 20 stars!!! In a world where medical care can be frustrating and inconsistent, Dr. Jen and her team are a breath of fresh air! They are kind, patient, extremely friendly, unparalleled in their knowledge and skill and AMAZING with kids! I would drive 100 miles to see Dr. Jen and her magical team. Thank goodness for them!

Oh my this place is awesome!! Tons of kid friendly attributes that make the dentist a breeze. De. Jen is friendly and so willing to help out with questions. My daughter is 2.5 and everyone was so friendly and accommodating.

If I could give this office 10 stars I would! The office staff is kind and competent, they have always bent over backwards to help us. Dr. Jen is hands down one of the best doctors my children have ever seen. She has preformed serious dental work on our daughter (who has a complicated dental prognosis) and was thorough in her explanations and compassionate with our daughter. She even gave us her personal cell number in case of an emergency or any questions. I wouldn't trust my children oral health to anyone but Dr. Jen!! We can't recommend her enough!!
