Dr. Amy Li is a highly trained general dentist with over 10 years of experience in the field of dentistry. We are confident she will provide gentle and caring dentistry to every patients needs and concerns.She graduated from Boston University School of Dental Medicine with honors and completed her general practice residency at UMass Memorial Hospital. Post residency, Dr. Li worked at South Cove Community Heath Center and continues to work there part-time to help serve the community. Dr. Li speaks fluent in Engish, Cantonese and Mandarin. She is also a proud memeber fo the American Dental Association (ADA) and Massachusetts Dental Society(MDS).
Dr. Amy Li is originally from Brooklyn, New York. During her dental school at Boston University she fell in love with the wonderful city of Boston. Since then she calls this city her home with her husband and two children, Abigail and Blake. In her spare time, besides chasing around her adorable children, she enjoys traveling, exercising and cooking. She loves baking. If you have an awesome recipe to share with her, please do so.
Jimmy manages the practice along with his wife Dr. Amy Li and handles most of the non-clinical duties, so that Dr. Li can focus more on her patients. Maintains the practice vision of treating each patient as they are like a friend/family member. If there are any questions about insurance coverages or anything else, definitely do not hesitate to ask. Jimmy speaks fluent in English and Cantonese(for the most part).
Jimmy grew up in Massachusetts pretty much his whole life, came over from Hong Kong to the US at only 3months old. Jimmy has two adorable children with Dr. Li, Abby and Blake. In his sparetime, enjoys watching anime and loves to play recreational sports such as basketball, softball, and flag football. He also enjoys talking about the hometown teams if you ever wanted to chat about it.

I would typically be reluctant to say I had a good experience at the dentist, however Dr. Amy Li has been a pleasure each time we visited. We started with just the wife and I, and now she is our family Dentist for kids and parents. The practice has been great to deal with and always conscientious of our needs as far as cleanliness, insurance coverage and making a fun experience for my daughter.

I made an appointment with Blue Sky Family Dental for my two daughters, who are very apprehensive when it comes to dental work. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and an absolutely pleasure to work with. Dr. Li, was professional and personable and the girls loved her. She spoke in a way that they could understand and showed them pictures of their teeth, instead of speaking to me as if they weren't in the room. I highly recommend!

Having just moved back to Boston, finding a new dentist could always be an ordeal. The staff at Blue Sky Family Dental were really friendly and caring. Amy was incredibly patient to explain everything to me and made sure I had no questions unanswered. They are also very quick to respond (even outside of business hours) when it comes to getting appointments scheduled or any concerns I had before coming in.

My kids have been going here for some time now and have celebrated milestones with Dr. Amy, from first loose tooth to first tooth extraction to first cavity! Going to the dentist is not fun but Dr. Amy is really attentive with kids, making mine feel at ease and comfortable in every visit. My kids are in very caring and capable hands every six months. (There's even a screen to watch kid-friendly shows and prizes every visit that the kids enjoy.) The establishment is professional and immaculate - it's very clean! It's also close to the T and has ample off-street parking.

Dr. Li and Jimmy are absolutely amazing. I don't think I've ever had a dentist who cares so much about me as a patient, and it shows in the quality of care from small to large - from the extensive time that is allocated to each visit to ensure that Dr. Li can patiently answer all of my 20 questions without rushing, to the Vaseline that Dr. Li personally applies during every cleaning when I told her that my lips tend to crack and dry out, to closely and gently advising on my bad and stressful dental habits, to going above and beyond to ensure that I am aware of what's offered and what's not included as part of my insurance plan and what would be out of pocket even before I ask, to remembering that I prefer super early morning appointments for extra safety during the pandemic and communications via email with my schedule, to standing by quality of work on the custom night guard while I take it for a test drive, within reason of course, instead of forcing me to keep it like other dental offices have (I did keep it because she did a fabulous fitting job, but the fact that she stood by her work so strongly!) I could go on and on. It's a full and refreshing 180 from the practices I've been a patient at previously. I recommended Dr. Li and Blue Sky to all of my friends and family - and to anyone who is reading these reviews, don't hesitate!

Blue Sky family dental was a very present experience for me to be honest. Jimmy in the front desk was Extremely helpful and pleasant when I came to answering all of my questions that I had. And on such short notice I was able to get in there and get a cleaning done really quickly while the dentist " Dr. Amy Li " was very informative on explaining to me all the things I needed to have done on my teeth. I'd highly recommend anybody to this place if they need to see a dentist around the north Quincy/ Wollaston area!

I have had many traumatic dental experiences and this was by far the best and most comfortable I have ever felt at a dentist. Dr. Li explains everything in detail and is extremely thorough in her examination of your dental health. She explained things to be that dentists have done my entire life but I never knew the purpose/reason why. She explained routine care of my teeth in a way that makes me want to take care of my teeth and follow through with her instructions. The office is beautiful and I felt very safe (COVID 19 wise) due to their extra precautions. I am so thankful for the care I received here and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new dentist in the Quincy area.

I haven't been to a dentist in a very long time due to anxiety from a bad experience at another place years ago. The staff at blue sky family dental were amazing! Jimmy is amazing at communicating and super friendly from the second you walk in the door. Dr. Amy Li was awesome! She explained everything To me in great detail and was very understanding and gentle. Her assistant was also great! The whole experience was a game changer. I wish I found them sooner!

Dr. Li and Jimmy and phenomenal! Not only are they extremely communicative (around administrative and procedural matters), they are very kind and put my daughter and I at ease (I have a deep rooted fear of dental work). I've moved out of the area but will continue to return to Quincy just for them!

Dr. Li is great! She takes the time to explain everything that she is doing and emphasizes the importance of taking care of your teeth outside of the dentist appointment in a way that makes you actually follow through! And Jimmy is very quick to respond to emails and it's easy to book appointments. Love that they are open on Saturdays. Highly recommend!!

The office is very clean and new. Everyone is very polite and knowledgeable. Scheduling/rescheduling an appointment was easy and parking is convenient. I had a great experience with Dr. Li and will definitely be back!

Love this place! Dr Li and her assistant are gentle, patient and professional. She mentioned the underlying issues my teeth have and recommended best practices for healthy teeth and dental hygiene in general. Jimmy at the front desk is very friendly and always sends timely follow-ups after my appointments. 10/10!

I have nothing but good things to say about Blue Sky Family Dental. I just started coming here recently on a recommendation from my mom and I'm glad I switched over. Dr. Amy Li and her husband, Jimmy, are the friendliest dental staff I have ever interacted with. They also have a dental assistant named Zhi, who is also very proficient and friendly as well. There are some things that I want to point out from my experiences. Dr. Li is very personable and will definitely look out for your health. I've had dentists in the past who just do scans, pictures, and then get to work, but Dr. Li is always sure to be thorough and explains everything to me. She understands that the mouth is mine and makes sure I am aware of what's going on. Another thing, which might be minor, is she seems to always be alert on how you are feeling throughout the procedure. She would ask me if my jaws hurt, if I need a break, or if there was anything else she could do to make me more comfortable. Just hearing that makes me feel more at ease. Also, aside from Zhi, the dental assistant, constantly helping Dr. Li throughout the procedure, there would be times Zhi would be sure to give a hand with the minor things, such as re-adjusting my protective eyewear, re-applying Vaseline on the lips (which I've never had done to me in the past, but I really like it), wiping any excess liquid that bounces out of the mouth, etc. Overall, if you're thinking about switching to a new dentist, please give Blue Sky Family Dental a try. You will not regret it!

I have finally found a great dentist! Dr. Li is kind, thoughtful, professional, and takes the time to explain everything, even before I started asking questions! State of the art equipment and the office and rooms are pristine. Jimmy is her office manager and husband, and boy, is he a keeper! Helpful, right on top of contacting oral surgeon and getting me rolling with info and pre-appointment questionnaires. In addition to her quietly efficient, and kind dental hygienist, Zhe, she has a great team. Now I won't be dreading going to my dentist, and getting the work done on my teeth that I've been putting off. No excuses with this dentist!
