Dr. Jonas Ashbaugh earned his dental degree from the Ohio State University, after earning his bachelors degree from the University of Florida. He maintains professional memberships in the American Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Southern Jacksonville Dental Society. Dr. Ashbaugh has also been awarded the Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Ashbaugh takes numerous postgraduate education courses each year and has received extensive training in sedation, occlusion (your bite) and esthetic dentistry, allowing him to incorporate these treatments into his practice so he has a multitude of methods for solving complex dental problems. Most recently, Dr. Ashbaugh has completed a nine month comprehensive dental implant program through the Las Vegas Implant Maxicourse.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Ashbaugh is an instructor for Smart CE online instructional series for Dental Assistants, Dental Hygienists, and Dentist nationwide. He is also a co-host for a popular dental podcast, Shared Practices, in which he shares his expertise in best practices for running a successful dental office.
Dr. Ashbaugh is an active participant in the community. He and his wife, Dr. Stevens, live in the area with their two children, Benjamin and Jonathan. In his spare time, he enjoys in-shore and off-shore fishing, wakeboarding, golfing and catching a football game.
Dr. Kathleen Stevens earned her dental degree from The Ohio State University School of Dentistry, after earning her bachelors degree from the University of Florida. She holds professional memberships in the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and Northeast District Dental Association.
Throughout her career Dr. Stevens has always strived to further her skills. She has completed several post graduate education courses and has received extensive training in dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and facial esthetics. Her commitment in continued education has allowed her to provide a wide array of services to her patients while delivering the highest quality of dental care.
Dr. Stevens and her family enjoy participating in the activities this great city of Jacksonville has to offer. Whether it be a day on the beach or an afternoon football game (go Jaguars!) you can always find her out enjoying time with friends and family.
Dr. Carolina Garcia, D.M.D, brings with her a beautiful smile and a compassionate attitude towards patient treatment. Dr. Garcia is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Dentistry and previously completed her Undergraduate degree in Biological Science at Florida State University.
Dr. Annette Lorenzo is a specialty trained Orthodontist that brings years of experience in treating patients with orthodontics. He is able to provide clear aligners, traditional bracket/ wires and even incognito or lingual braces!

Jasmine graduated from Baldwin Senior High School in 2015. She started in the dental field in 2017 and became apart of the Blue Sky Dental Group family in August of 2019 . Jasmine loves to stay active. She danced for 14 years and played soccer for 7. Shes also the most amazing dog mom.
Lindsay began her dental career 12 years ago, where she grew up in the panhandle of Florida. She went on to receive her Associates degree at Northwest Florida State College as a scholar athlete for the Lady Raiders softball team. Once softball was over, she made dentistry her passion! She became a Dental Assistant and moved to Tallahassee Fl. to further her career in Dentistry.
She continued her studies at Tallahassee Community College receiving an A.S. degree in Dental Hygiene in 2014. Lindsay married the love of her life Derek and has a beautiful daughter Mia. She added some amazing fury babies along the way with her cat Marley and new rescue pup Luna!
She enjoys cooking for her family, camping, disc. golf on the weekends and game nights with friends and family. Lindsays favorite part of her job is providing patients with the best experience possible during their dental visit. Making the patient feel comfortable and at home is what she strives for, with the ultimate goal being to educate and build long term relationships with her patients.
Leah is born and raised in Jacksonville and graduated as a certified EFDA at Florida State College of Jacksonville since 2009. Graduated with 4.0 and on the deans and presidents list. She originally started her career as a chair side dental assistant learning the trade in all specialties. Over time she was given the opportunity to expand in the business management side of dentistry which she enjoys most.
She learned to share her experiences with patients and help make their dream financially achievable. Her favorite part of this position is being able to play a part in changing a patients confidence with just their smile. Watching them enjoy their new smiles and get to know them more along with their families.
Katie has been working as a dental assistant here at Blue Sky Dental Group since August of 2017. She graduated from Fortis college on the presidents list and with her expanded functions certification . She bilingual, also CPR and phlebotomy certified. Katie has been apart of our family since weve opened and we are so grateful to have her.
Katerina has been practicing dental hygiene since October 2016. She received her Associate of Dental Hygiene at Sanford Brown in Jacksonville Florida and an Associate of Arts in Venice Florida. She is certified in CPR, Local anesthesia and is a certified notary. In her spare time she enjoys exploring the city of Jacksonville with her husband and 3 year old son. She also enjoys going out for coffee with friends and family.
Kelly and her husband relocated to Jacksonville from San Diego for his work. Kelly has many years ofclinical experience combining pediatric and general dentistry, owned and operated a dental staffing company, and had a stint as a faculty member at the university where she graduated.
Shalliyah is young and full of energy. She is come onboard as our official sterilization tech. She maintains the flow of the office and keeps us all in order. She is planning on attending dental assisting school in future to further skills and grow with the team!
Hana is one of the first faces youll see as you walk through the door. Hana has a outgoing personality and is always quick with joke. Originally from Alaska, shes enjoying soaking up the sun here in Florida!
Dayana is Dr. Lorenzos lead Orthodontic assistant. Youll either meet her directly and shell be behind the scenes to make sure your orthodontic experience is moving along smoothly. She also speaks spanish.
