Dr. Dan and the staff are awesome! I have dental phobia and everytime I've been here I feel like I'm in good hands and trust Dr.Dan to be able to handle anything. I've been to 3 other dentists in the area and they caused me more anxiety by not explaining anything and they were not trustworthy in my opinion. I'm so glad I found this office! Also the work I've had done here is high quality dental work.

Based on my first visit, I give it an A+! Upon entry, although the waiting area is a bit small, it's inviting and clean. The front office staff is welcoming and, being from another state, they made me feel like a lifelong client. The dental assistant was very informative, as she was also training a new assistant. Dr. McLellan was very friendly and professional. Overall, I was very impressed and would highly recommend them!

Since our dentist of over 25 years retired, my husband & I were in search of a new D.D.S. After short listing dentists in the Bel Air area who accepted Delta Dental, my husband called and vetted each of them thoroughly, deciding upon Dr. Dan. My husband came back quite pleased from his initial appointment, highly recommending Dr. Dan to our 21-years-old daughter and me. Subsequently, a few weeks later, our daughter also went to see Dr. Dan, and several fillings later, she too came back with a rave review of the doctor and his staff. Thus, after repeated inquiries from my husband as to whether I'd scheduled an appointment with Dr. Dan yet (Due to his persistence, I swore he was receiving some kind of kick-back.), I finally got on his books for today, and I must say that I'm in total agreement with my spouse and daughter. After being pleasantly greeted at my car (COVID-19 protocol) by Christine with forms to complete, I was invited in to Blue Sky's bright, clean waiting area, whereupon Amanda immediately took me back for a few quick x-rays. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Dan introduced himself and amiably conversed while checking and cleaning my teeth. He did make a point of stating that he handles all initial cleanings and that his dental hygienist would be carrying out any future cleanings. My husband, by the way, has already been back for his 6-month check-up at which time his teeth were cleaned by the dental hygienist, who he said did an excellent job. I wish I could provide her name; however, remembering names is not my husband's forte. I guess I will discover her identity upon my return in February. Based on the pleasant experiences my family has had at the hands of Dr. Dan and his staff, I highly recommend Blue Sky Dental Care for anyone new to the area or just looking to change dentist!!!

Dr. Dan and his staff are top notch! I stumbled across Blue Sky Dental on a random web search several years back when looking for a new dentist and am so glad to have found them. Every visit is a warm and welcoming experience - friendly, accommodating, attentive, and knowledgeable. They treat everyone like family. Dan, Shelby, and their colleagues are all amazing - my daughter and I actually look forward to going to the dentist now! Thank you!

So first I'll say I HATE the dentist... but NOT this dentist. I had extensive dental work done as a child and no topical anesthetic was ever used then... which left me with severe anxiety regarding going. Because of that I didn't go for quite some time. Dr. McLellan not only made me feel at ease he also talked to me the whole time my mouth was going numb for the work I needed when I finally went... albeit it was a conversation about physcopaths and how a lot of them are dentists but yes that helped me ;-). Anyway give him a shot or probably a drill ...

I went to Dr. Mclellan on a recommendation from a lot of people in my community. He was very informative, gentle, and thorough. I had not been to the dentist in a very long time due to fear and my visit was actually pleasant. Something I would never say about a dentist visit. I would recommend him and his whole staff to anyone, they were all amazing!
