Dr. Bruderer has been practicing dentistry since August 2007. He opened Blue Rock Family Dental in November 2010, and has loved living in Tooele County and practicing dentistry in its beautiful valley.
Dr. Bruderer attended Brigham Young University and graduated with a bachelors degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Finance. Soon after BYU, he moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to attend dental school at Temple University. When he graduated from dental school in 2007, he was given awards in Radiology and Implant Dentistry for outstanding academic and clinical achievement.
After dental school, Dr. Bruderer was commissioned as a Captain in the United States Air Force and began working at the Nellis Air Force Base Dental Clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada. While at Nellis AFB, Dr. Bruderer was involved in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency program which gave him additional training and experience in all dental specialty areas.
After the year in Las Vegas, Dr. Bruderer worked for two years at McGuire AFB in Wrightstown, New Jersey. At McGuire, he was honored twice as the Dental Squadron Dental Officer of the Quarter, and once as the Medical Group Officer of the Quarter. He enjoyed his time in the Air Force, but was excited to enter private practice in 2010 and move back to Utah, his home state. Dr. Bruderer has served as a past President of the Tooele District of the Utah Dental Association and is active in organized dentistry. In dental school, the Air Force, and his own private practice, Dr. Bruderer has become known for his precise, beautiful dentistry, and his comfortable and calm chairside manner.
Dr. Bruderer enjoys spending time with his wife, Michelle, and his five children. The Bruderers like to go bike riding, boating, camping, and fishing as a family. They are also huge fans of baseball and the Philadelphia Phillies!
Dr Sarah Rayburn was raised in Sugar Land, TX. She went to The University of Texas in Austin for undergrad and majored in Sociology. She was on the Womens Crew Team and a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. She attended dental school at Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine. During dental school she was President of the Periodontics club, an active member of American Student Dental Association, andpublished two research articles.
Dr. Rayburn fell in love with dentistry while working as a dental assistant in between undergraduate and dental school. She loves that it is a blend of art and science that has unlimited potential to impact patients lives. Her favorite part is getting to know her patients and help them have healthy, confident smiles.
In her free time, she and her husband enjoy exploring all that Utah has to offer with their baby girl. Their favorite thing to do is ski but they also try to hike and bike as much as possible. Dr Rayburn enjoys competing in triathlons, open water swims, and watching Texas Longhorn football games.
Amanda has worked at Blue Rock Family Dental formore than 2 years, she started as an intern while in the high school dental assisting program. She graduated from Stansbury High School in 2018, and is continuing her education through BYU Idaho online. She is planning to go Dental Hygiene school.
Janell is new to the dental field as a scheduling coordinator, and has been with our office since 2017. She enjoys meeting and helping our patients.Janell loves spending time with her husband and four children. They enjoy kayaking, hiking, and working in the yard.

I went in there to get a cleaning and my Xray was that day and the dentist was supposed to be there to go over it with me and look me over. I have gum disease and am in need of a good dentist and good dental help. He decided to not make that appointment without notice. The hygienist said I could just reschedule for another time to get those X-rays and dentist check over. That was there solution to him missing my appointment. I run a small business for over 35 years. A doctor not making his appointment when it is scheduled is extremely unprofessional as then even worse was their fix to it which was to have me make "another" appointment to come back as if time grew on trees for me. If you call ahead and tell me he will not be there and apologize ahead of time then that is fine and I could have rescheduled but that did not happen. You miss a professional appointment with me without notice and I will find someone else to make one with who believes in respecting the time of their customers.

I really liked going here. Dr. Bruderer does really good work, and it's one of the few dentists I've been to where I don't feel self conscious about my mouth. But unfortunately they just put my insurance out of their network... wish I could rate higher but now I'm looking for a new dentist for my family and myself

I want to thank the entire staff at Blue Rock, I have had nothing but excellent service and care on my multiple visits. The staff id professional and friendly truly makes me feel at home. I would recommend them at any chance I get.

The entire staff is amazing! They really know how to take care of their customers. I went in for a check up before i got my braces and found out i needed some work. The team jumped through hoops to get me in that afternoon! Really cant say enough about how friendly and great they are! Thanks again Blue Rock Family Dental you have a customer for life now!

Steve is really the best dentist I have been to. He is a perfectionist and has great people skills and is completely focused on the patient. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone. The office staff are professional but so personable.
