From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a dentist. Dentistry has had a positive impact on my life and I have always wanted to provide and share that experience with others. It was also around this time in my childhood that we went on a family road trip from my small west-central Wisconsin hometown through North Carolina. Between the mountains in the west to the ocean in the east, I knew I wanted to live here some day.
I received my undergraduate degree in Biology (B.S) from the University of Minnesota. From there, I went on to graduate cum laude from Marquette University School of Dentistry. After dental school, I felt it was important to gain more clinical experience so I chose to further my education with a general practice residency. This was also an opportunity to move down to North Carolina. I completed my residency at MAHEC in Asheville, NC. It was during this time that I fell in love with the mountains and the views along the Blue Ridge Parkway (hence the name).
We moved to Apex in 2015. I truly enjoy North Carolina living with my husband, Todd, and our two daughters, Brianna and Sophia. I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors, doing projects around the house and sewing projects with my girls.
Nine years ago I started my journey in dentistry and I love every minute of it!! Building relationships with our patients and helping them is the best part of my job. North Carolina became my home 6 years ago. My husband, son, and I enjoy the beach and exploring all of what this amazing state has to offer. I look forward to helping you with your smile!!
I started my dental career working as an assistant for my Uncle in Northern Virginia. After a 10 year hiatus to spend time as a stay at home mom, I went back to school to become a Dental Hygienist. I love helping patient learn new ways to better take care of their teeth and brighten their smile. Im looking forward to meeting you!
Hello! Im Lindsay and I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 13 years now. I moved to the triangle area from Wilmington, NC after attending school. I lived in the Cary/Apex area for 10+ years until my husbands job took up to Wisconsin for a few years. We recently moved back and are loving it.once again. We have 2 boys, 5 and 3, who keep us very busy. When Im not at work you can find my family and I enjoying sports, outside enjoying this NC weather, or visiting our wonderful local restaurants/breweries.
Before being welcomed with open arms by the team at Blue Ridge Family Dental, I was lucky enough to spend my customer service career in retail traveling across the United States, providing training for others in the customer service field. I also gained experience in medical office administration, and it was in this role that I truly felt my customer care skills had an impact on the day-to-day lives of patients and our surrounding community. I am excited to build new relationships with our patients here at Blue Ridge Family Dental, and honored to be the newest addition to this fantastic team!
When Im not in the office, you can find me digging garden beds in my front yard in Apex, checking out too many books from the library, burning something in the kitchen, or planning my next great adventure with my husband and our Australian Cattle Dog, Opal.
I am so excited to be a part of the Blue Ridge Dental family! I grew up in NE Ohio but have spent most of my life here in North Carolina both in Raleigh and in Wilmington. Ive always had an interest in dentistry so when I had the opportunity for a career change several years ago, I started my dental career! I love getting to know my patients and making their experience as pleasant as possible.
In my free time, I love spending time with my Husband and two children, Taylor and Jake. We love taking weekend trips to the beach or exploring new places around town. When we are home youll find me firing up the grill or relaxing with a good book!
Ive been a dental assistant for almost 20 years! My goal with each patient is to make them feel more comfortable and confident in their smile. Im from Iowa and have worked in a variety of dental settings; large practices, pediatrics and the VA hospital. Working with kids and veterans has been so rewarding but after a family move to NC I feel grateful to have found a practice like Blue Ridge Family Dental that really takes the time and focused care with each patient.
In my free time Im usually planning our next family adventure. Whether its a trip to the mountains, beach or all the parks and museums in between. I love being outdoors and exploring new places and creating new memories here in beautiful NC!

Going to the dentist is one of my least favorite things to do... Going to Blue Ridge though was quite the opposite. Kendall was especially helpful in determining my insurance coverages, as well as, making the process seamless from beginning to end. Lindsey is an amazing Dental Hygienist with soft hands, clear and concise explanations of her actions both before and after she did anything to me and is quite knowledgeable! I didn't get to spend too much time with Dr. Schuette; however, I will be returning for my fillings and will be able to provide feedback once she's done all five (yes, I need 5 fillings repaired and/or totally new ones). All in all, I truly recommend this dental office. A+++ across the board!

Dr. Schuette and her team are awesome! Everyone takes the time to make sure you're ok through cleanings and dental work and for someone that had a fear of going to the dentist growing up that goes such a long way. So happy to call her our dentist! Thank you!

I've been around for a few decades, so believe me when I say that Blue Ridge Family Dental is far and away the best dental practice I've ever known. Dentists, hygienists and support staff are just amazing--very concerned about patient comfort and safety as well as top-of-the-line dental work. They practice dentistry for the long haul, not just quick fixes. As a senior citizen, I appreciate the assurance that I won't need to have dental work redone. I never fear my appointments and I love the attention to detail and patient comfort. Thank you, all!

I moved to Apex from a small town in Eastern NC, and therefore had a small town dentist who I loved. When it became unrealistic to drive back home to go to the dentist, I went in search for a new dentist. Dr. Schuette is beyond amazing, and her whole team is so inviting, welcoming, and professional. I can't imagine going to another dentist ever, and I hope I never have to. I have a problematic tooth and Dr. Schuette has always been honest with my best interest at heart. She has always made sure every decision was mine and was always 100% transparent about finances and always (literally ALWAYS) gave options. You can tell her true motives are to provide a helpful, healthy service for her patients and you can tell she really cares. And she definitely hires staff with that same mindset.

This office is one of the best I've used. I've moved a lot and have many to compare. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about dental issues as well as insurance. They saved me over $200 today by switching to their insurance. My crown went exactly as explained. Love them!

Great dental practice. I mistakenly missed an appointment. The staff seemed very mad and basically refused to make another appointment. Good thing there are other great dental practices nearby.

Excellent dentist!!!! I've had multiple dentists throughout the years and this practice by far exceeds all expectations.they are the kindest people I have run across in a long time starting with the receptionist scheduler through the dental hygienist through the dentist herself. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a good dentist.

Really awesome staff! They really do everything they can to make going to the dentist a positive and stress free experience. I've also had to get some fillings and a crown. They explained every step of the process and we're very consistent with follow up. Make Blue Ridge Family Dental your dentist!

I hate going to the dentist. I had a very bad experience a few years ago and it took a lot for me to go back. These ladies at Blue Ridge Dental are awesome. I had to get a crown put in. I did the first part today..took 1 1/2 hours . They did a great job and I didn't even realize I was there for that long. I will be going back for the 2nd part of putting in the crown in February and I am okay with that! They listen, they don't dismiss your fears and they are professional. Plus the office is great. Definitely recommend this practice!

Couldn't imagine a better dentist. I was holding off from going to the dentist for years because I always hear horror stories from friends and coworkers (not about this particular dentist office obviously), but all those fears were put to rest when I had my checkup with them. They know what they're doing and have amazing customer service. I'll be sticking with them for sure.
