Dr. Kim graduated from Hermon Ostrow School of Dentistry at University of Southern California after learning his passion to help the community that needed help when he was volunteering at Mission of Mercy. He also received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Dongguk University, and Bachelor of Science in Biology at Iowa State University. He has served in the U.S. Army in 2001 through 2003 as a Sergeant in a Military Police Battalion.

Dr. Punyawat is graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland Ohio, where he earned a Doctor of Medical in Dentistry (DMD) degree. After graduating, he completed a residency, Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the Dayton Veteran Affairs Medical Center. His residency brought with it much experience in treating a high volume of difficult cases and helped him undertand medically compromised patients. Dr. Punyawat loves all aspects of dentistry, including restoration, crowns & bridges, implants, endodontics, and removable prosthesis either partial or complete denture. Hes also a certified provider of Invisalign clear aligners.

Dr. Punyawat always treats his patients like his family members, and those patients love him for his competence as well as compassion. During his free time, he enjoys cooking, baking, listening to music, watching movies, and lifting weight. His wife is a pastry chef and always bakes good cakes for family and friends.

Dr. Chun was born and raised in Maryland. After graduating with a degree in neurobiology and physiology (and a minor in human development) from the University of Maryland, College Park, she went on to pursue her masters from Tufts University. Dr. Chun obtained her Masters in Biomedical Sciences and continued into dental school, graduating from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. While there, she was actively involved in various student organizations and served on the executive board for the American Student Dental Association (ASDA), which resulted in her attending many leadership conferences. She is passionate about learning both inside and outside of the classroom. After dental school, Dr. Chun completed a General Practice Residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center. Her residency training focused on treating medically complex patient populations, pediatrics and geriatrics. She is new to the Blue Ridge Mountains but is loving it more with each passing day.

Dr. Chun has experience in general dentistry, including crowns, bridges, root canal treatments, extractions, implant restorations, dentures, and pediatric treatment. She enjoys treating children and patients from many different backgrounds. She strives to get to know her patients and create a positive experience for them at their dental visits.

Do not waste your time or money at this dentistry. This dental practice is a complete scam. They stay very understaffed and it's obvious why . They stole money from me and refuse to refund me for an item that they couldn't fix for me as promised. They basically rush you at each appointment due to low staffing issues which stay an issue there . You are just treated like a price tag there. They clearly need more training there and will rip you off any chance they can. I do not recommend this place at all.

This dentist was the worse experience ever . The dentist Dr. Gress has no idea what he is doing when it comes to making partials . I wasted my time here on multiple trips up here - approx 7 trips to not get the partial fitted correctly still to this day. I wasted over 400 dollars on something that I have never been able to wear . This dentistry refuses to refund me for this as I have been wanting to drop it off to them. They basically told me I was out of my money . The office manager up there Samantha has been refusing to email me back after multiple attempts to try and reach her . Will be reaching out to the Salem office next week to get something worked out in hopes they have better service up there. I wouldn't recommend this office at all. Very inconsiderate professionals there .

I hadn't been there in 2 years and was worried because the entire staff is different. I left glad I stuck with BRDG. They were friendly and didn't try to push things on me and answered all of my questions. It was one of the best dental experiences I've ever had.

I had my first new patient appointment with Blue Ridge Dental group Vinton yesterday. I will say I have had issues just finding a dentist who is taking new patients in the area, so I was thrilled to be able to get in for my prophy and exam within the month when I called to set up my appointment. I was greeted by friendly front desk staff, and my hygienist Becky was professional, friendly, intelligent, and got my teeth sparkling clean! Laurie, the office manager, as well as plenty of the staff members hopped in to help me with my 5 month old son who came along for the ride, and I couldn't appreciate their help and genuine kindness to my child more!!!! Thanks guys for a lovely experience

Dolly and Dr. Gress made a horrible experience (getting two wisdom teeth pulled) as good as it could be! As someone who had a horrible experience with wisdom teeth removal a long time ago, I was extremely anxious going into this procedure. Both of them were so kind and took so much time with me. I also received texts from them checking in on me after hours, on the weekend! Very grateful I had them for this procedure

I was seen for an urgent visit on 10/7/21 and was promptly referred out. In response to my tooth grinding problem the dentist asked, "what's stressing you? Did you lose your man?" The hygienist then made a remark about "finding a sugar daddy". When I asked the dentist what he saw in my mouth he said, " oh, you're growing tumors" I did not find any of this amusing as I was in terrible pain. I was so offended I will be relocating my dental services immediately.

Once I was there they tell me that my Dentist Dr. Neal is no longer there. I asked when was this known and was told that she had to give a 45 day notice but, I as her patient, was never told of her departure. For me, I look to develop a relationship with a dentist that I can feel comfortable with - which is what I had developed with Dr. Neal. I realize people come and go for various reasons and when asked why she left, I was told she left to be closer to her home. While that may be true, it sounds "fishy" to me as the "feel" of the office felt completely different as soon as walked through the door - as the front office folks were all new and the hygienist was also new and barely talked during my painful cleaning. Then instead of meeting the other dentist, I was introduced to a temporarily dentist Dr. "M", who took all of 2 minutes to assess the condition of my teeth and proclaim I had no cavities while spending as much time talking to the hygienist as she did with me. This was the most unprofessional, impersonal way of telling a patient, that his dentist was no longer there! I will be looking elsewhere for a new dentist. Disappointed, I am Stephen Laughlin
