Dr. Ellis and Dr. Mefford are hands down the best Dentists in Johnson City, the State of Tennessee and the best in the USA. I have lived all over the USA in 17 states and these guys are the best of the best. Their entire staff at Blue Ridge Dental Group are all top notch professionals that really care about their patients!!

Dr Mefford is the best dentist I have ever been to hands down. My mother and I both go to him. He and his staff are amazing. He and his staff are so nice and gentle. He has saved me from mind numbing pain more than once. He should get a Nobel prize for dentistry if there is such a thing.

I don't write reviews often but the service at this office is amazing! My work is done by the female dentist who has wonderful bedside manner! She makes sure to explain everything and tell you when she uses a new tool so you know to expect it, but she also is very quick with her work. I no longer live in Johnson City but make a point to come in whenever I am in town. 10/10 would recommend, especially if you are someone who has anxiety about visiting the dentist.

Absolutely, the best dental care I have ever received. Dr. Ellis, Dr. Mefford, and all the Blue Ridge Team are unfailingly kind, pleasant, patient and so professional. The quality of their work is outstanding. Holly and Debbie, the hygienists I see, are wonderful. And they always make you feel cared for and important to them. I cannot say enough, and highly recommend this practice.

Let me preface this by saying I absolutely abhor the dentist. I panic every time I go. But in the three times I have been to see Dr. Mefford I have never felt more taken care of by ANY health provider in any medical field. He is not only an amazing, kind, caring dentist, but just a considerate and compassionate person. He called me the evening of my crown to check on me. During the procedure he continually asked if I was OK, if I needed a break, or more numbing. He made it clear he was in no rush and that he would take whatever time the procedure required. His staff are also SO nice. All of them are kind and patient with my panicky self. I appreciate them so much. I would come back to TN just for this care when I move. The new facility is also incredibly nice. Every single staff person is so nice and compassionate. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Excellent all around. Very professional and accommodating. They really care about your Dental health. From the front desk folks setting appointments to the sweet girls who clean your teeth to the Dentist all top notch. Highly recommend.

Their new facility is nice, very modern feel. More room than the previous location. Noticed USB ports on the table top for charging. Getting in on the appointment before the scheduled time was nice. Staff was friendly and professional.

What do you call a bear with no teeth? A gummy bear. There's my attempt at levity! I appreciate the sincere response and am sorry I was inappropriate as well. I'm feeling heartbroken that even with insurance I'm dreaming of a future trip to a 3rd world country for an affordable implant after getting this extraction, but shouldn't have let strong emotions get the best of me. I'll call tomorrow and thank you all so much!
