Since 1996, my goal has been to provide the people of Nelson County and Bardstown with advanced and compassionate Oral Surgical care. I will continue to do my utmost to deliver quality and value to my patients without a trip out of town.
I grew up in western Pennsylvania in a small town similar to Bardstown. I received my undergraduate degree in Biology and Economics at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania. My dental degree and oral and maxillofacial surgical postdoctoral training were completed at Boston University. I served as a staff oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital and served as an adjunct instructor in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
After establishing my own practice here in Bardstown, I have endeavored to stay current, stay involved and to give back something to the community that has been so good to me. I was fortunate and privileged to serve on the medical staff and Board of Directors at Flaget Memorial Hospital. I was past president of the Kentucky Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. I served our community proudly for a few years as a member of the Rotary Club. I have also staffed the Resident Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery clinic at University of Louisville School of Dentistry on a part time basis for fifteen years.
I have maintained my certification in the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for over 20 years. This Board Certification signifies a continuous commitment for excellence in patient care and treatment management.

Went here for wisdom teeth removal and an extraction. Everything went GREAT! Dr. Laureano is very kind, patient, and gentle. Always explains everything and puts you to ease about procedures. His staff is also very friendly as well. If I ever need any other work done I won't hesitate to come here. Thank you all for such smooth procedures.

I definitely recommend this office for any dental work. The team was kind and caring and helped me as much as they could. My surgery went off without a hitch and I remember how easy everything was.

Went here on yesterday to have my wisdom teeth pulled. Everything went GREAT! One of my wisdom teeth could've caused nerve damage but I feel it my lip and chin and it's only Day 2. Dr. Laureano was very kind, patient, and gentle. His staff was also very pleasant as well. If I ever need any other work done I won't hesitate to come here. Thank y'all so much for a smooth, painless surgery! God Bless!

Today is January 15, 2021. I had a surgical extraction of numerous teeth and broken, decayed teeth ect extracted today. The service was phenomenal. Everybody was very kind, welcoming, and informative during the whole process. Dr. Romeo is an awesome surgeon and knows what hes doing and he has a great team of dental assistants behind him. I'd highly recommend Dr. Romeo and his team for anybody looking to get work done on their teeth. *****5 stars across the board.*****

A great experience. My daughter was nervous, but the friendly staff made her feel relaxed. Dr Laureano was very friendly and thoroughly explained the entire process! Felt safe and well taken care of by professionals!
