Dr Larson was gentle as he did my root canal, and he also explained things well to me, as he showed me the x-rays. His assistant was very kind, too! I would recommend Dr Larson to anyone!

Very unethical business practices. Quoted me a price for a root canal prior to the procedure. I paid the amount they quoted the day of the procedure, 6 months later the sent me a bill for an additional $352 because they miss calculated the amount my insurance would cover for the procedure. Unprofessional and not trustworthy, be mindful when receiving a quote for services...

EDIT: I'm updating my review. I still think the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. However, after taking payment at my appointment, they hit me with a surprise bill after sending in a claim through insurance for the amount insurance didn't cover. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions and took extra steps to make sure that the correct tooth was selected. They did an awesome job!

Dr. Katie Divine performed a root canal on me today and she was really really good. Anesthesia is not very effective with me but she managed it and me really well. She also explained everything in great detail as we proceeded, which I found really helpful. I recommend her highly.

Dr. Divine and her assistant were AMAZING! Dr. Divine and her assistant walked through each step before it happened and tolerated my anxiety like a champ. Dr. Divine was very professional, thorough, and if I have to have another procedure, I will drive the three hours without hesitation. Thank you!

Visited Dr Divine twice for two different root canals. Must admit I was nervous the first time as I have only heard horror stories about this procedure. She assured me it wouldn't be painful. I was sceptical to say the least. Dr Divine was right! Both times I felt a little pressure from the needle, but absolutely nothing after that. Absolutely amazing! Thank you Dr. Divine!

I am so grateful for my experience with Blue Creek! They were able to get me in SAME DAY for an emergency root canal. Dr. Divine was extremely professional, gentle and explained the process every step of the way. After being in extreme pain for days, I immediately felt better. The appointment was extremely quick and the entire office was clean and tidy. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough.

If you're nervous to get a root canal and are literally paralyzed by the thought of going in... this review is for you. I don't have great teeth health. I haven't my whole life. For 4 years I've been aware of my need to get some root canals done. But after hearing how awful it was for my dad (I am 30 years old by the way), I never could get myself to do it. Truly paralyzed by fear. Finally it came down to either my teeth going to fall out or just buck up and get the root canals. I opted to save my teeth. When I was referred to Blue Creek Endodontics by my dentist, I had no idea what to expect but I was already terrified. I literally was trembling with irrational fear. My first root canal was on the bottom right (I believe number 29). I expressed how scared I was and Dr. Divine was so kind and patient with me. I had asked to keep the X-ray drape on because it felt like a weighted blanket (you know the kind people use for anxiety) and they happily accommodated. 20 MINUTES! that's how long the actual procedure took for that tooth. The numbing process took longer than the root canal. I DIDNT FEEL A THING! Of course I felt the little pinch of the numbing needles, but that was WAY MORE MANAGEABLE than I had anticipated. Recovery was sore but I survived! I did it! Now for the big one! Today I went back for 2 root canals in one sitting. Both top right. (I think tooth number 2 and 3). Waiting for me on a chair when I got in was my friend the weighted blanket haha (the X-ray drape). They had taken the time to notate in my chart that I preferred it the one time I was there last and had it waiting for me. Dr. Divine walked me through the root canal process and how it would take longer today but even then I was in and out in only an hour and a half! Again, the numbing was a slight pinch and then BAM! I didn't feel any pain the whole entire time. On both root canals. I was assured if any pain flared up that they would put more numbing medication in, and that was only needed one time (it wasn't painful I just felt sensation and she immediately took action and numbed me up more). She was so kind, gentle, and patient. I felt noticed when it came to my irrational fear of the dentist, and never once did I feel like I couldn't trust her. I am writing this review because I feel really strongly about how great this experience ended up being for me. I can't tell you how scared I was to get this taken care of, and now I have a new faith in procedures like this. I just had to share it with everyone. Just in case you were a little like me and have avoided getting a root canal for way too long... blue creek Endodontics is the place to go. I've never felt so grateful. Thank you for fixing my teeth! I'm so so so incredibly grateful.

The last words anyone wants to hear is "root canal", but this turned out to be one of the best dental experiences I've had - start to finish. So easy to get an appointment, and received an accurate estimate of cost with my insurance figured in before the appointment. At the appointment both Dr. Devine and Lori were very caring, and informative. Everything was explained so I could make an informed decision. The procedure itself was smooth, and Dr. Devine explained every step as she was working, what she was doing and why, and what to expect. I left with clear instructions for post care and what to expect. If I need an endodontist again, I'm definitely a return customer!

The office is very cozy, you almost forget you're at the dentist. The staff were friendly and the dentist had my root canal complete in no time. I've only had a few days of recovery, but so far it's good.

I was able to get an appointment pretty quickly, which was great! Front office staff was friendly and Dr. Eaton was very efficient and explained the process. I had no problems with the procedure and was given a prophylactic antibiotic just as a precaution. I would give them 5 stars hands down. Unfortunately, the billing personnel was whole different story (hence the lower rating). I was told initially they had a rough estimate and that I may owe a little more or a little less as they couldn't get a "good" estimate from my insurance company and they would refund me the difference if there was an overpayment. I received a bill for $174 (after I had already pre-paid almost $400). I called the office to discuss this further only to be interrupted and told it was the insurance's fault and because of this, they couldn't give me an accurate estimate initially. Reviewing my dental benefits online, it was pretty clear they cover 80% for root canals and they don't cover the cone beam (which I was told it was needed for the root canal). One of the charges was to be included with another charge (according to my benefits), which I didn't even bother bringing up with the gal as she was obviously not interested in listening to anything. Just really disappointed with the treatment I received at that end.

I was so nervous to have a 45 year old root canal drilled out and replaced but Dr Divine was simply amazing. There was minimal pain once the numbness wore off and today I feel nothing at all!! Thank you so much-you alleviated my fear!!

Other than how little insurance picks up my experience was amaizing. I needed a root canal and they squeezed me in same day from a referral from my dentist. The doc obviously very skilled and knowledgeable takes his time and is very thorough. All the staff was great. Thank you.

Blue Creek Endodontics is amazing. I had to take my son in Lariann and Shannon were awesome with getting him scheduled. Dr Eaton made my son feel at ease and comfortable the whole time. Highly recommended them!

I called a few other places to get an average price range and Blue Creek was my 3rd or 4th call. They were happy to answer my questions, whereas some of the others seemed irritated or at least as if they thought I should already know the answers, despite being my first time with any "more serious" dental work. Blue Creek had a fair price (as fair as any medical costs are), or may have even been the cheapest. Despite the extra drive from Boise, I decided to try them. They seemed exceptionally busy when I came in for my appointment, yet greeted me quickly, warmly, and the wait was not nearly as bad as I'd anticipated by the number of people waiting. They were non-judgmental and understanding about my reasoning for requesting nitrous during the procedure, and were very pleasant throughout. The endodontist worked quickly, but carefully and ensured a pain-free experience. I was nervous going into it, expecting some pain after the procedure, but there was none. Hopefully I don't need them again soon, but I'll return if and when I do.

Had a root canal done here. The process was quick and easy. And the doc explained everything that he was going to do before he started the procedure. Would recommend this place.
