Dr. David E. Markowitz has been setting the highest standards of excellence in orthodontics for almost 20 years. A second-generation dentist, his father practiced dentistry for over 40 years. Dr. Markowitz received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University School of Dentistry. He completed a post-graduate residency program at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and was awarded his Graduate Orthodontic Certificate from Columbia University in New York, which is widely recognized as one of the most outstanding orthodontic training programs in the country.
An esteemed member of the dental and orthodontic communities, Dr. Markowitz is considered Board Eligible by the American Board of Orthodontics, and he is an active member in many other leading dental and orthodontic organizations, including the:
Dr. Amrita Bhan is excited to join the team at Blue Bell Orthodontics and Lower Merion Orthodontics! Dr. Bhan received her Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University. She completed her dental degree at Temple Universitys School of Dentistry, where she served as Class President. She graduated in 2016 with highest honors and was inducted into the OKU National Dental Honor Society. She continued her education at Temple Universitys orthodontic residency program and earned a certificate in orthodontics and a Master of Science in Oral Biology. Outside of orthodontics, Dr. Bhan enjoys volunteering both locally and internationally and has travelled to Kenya and Thailand as a volunteer dental assistant with Rotary International. She also enjoys reading and photography.
