Literally the WORST experience ever!!!!! I went for exam and dental cleaning. After the X-ray were taken, the "dentist" did the cleaning for me. It was less than 10 minutes and extremely painful! There's blood in my entire mouth! Then the "dentist" told me my teeth are okay, there's no cavities. She also told me that I need Invisalign for my teeth. Because of the painful dental cleaning I got today, I was planning on having a hygienist do my dental cleaning for my next visit. So I asked the receptionist if they have a professional hygienist in the office. And she told me who did my cleaning is a hygienist. WTH? Since when a hygienist is able to do a dentist's job and exam patients????? And since when a hygienist can do Invisalign consultation????? I bet you can't find a second dental office in New York that would do such things. I explained my concerns to the receptionist. She clearly had no patience for me. And she stated that there's no dentist in the office today. She said after the dentist came back, they'll check my X-ray and see if something's wrong. But no one told me there's no dentist today before my visit, even after I arrived. This is so unprofessional and definitely unacceptable!!!! I have visited the dental office many times over the years, I think their service is fine. Dr. Zhou is patient and gives good advice to solve my teeth problems. The only issue is that the waiting time is a bit too long. I normally wait for 30ish minutes. Sometimes it can be longer if they have more patients on that day.
