If you're considering Blu Dental / Dr. Henry Kim for any type of treatment: go somewhere else. All I'm going to say is, I know it's a hassle but please get 2nd/3rd opinions for treatments if you can, including for "simple" or "routine" cavity treatments with crowns. I was ignorant about dental health for a long time - I wish someone told me that you should try to keep as much of your original teeth as you can and avoid having them drilled into and chopped up to be replaced with crowns (which fyi do need to eventually be replaced). Please educate yourself and do not blindly trust dental professionals.

About 2 years ago I had 4 extraction, the office staff made fun of me bc I required more numbing medication. I heard the Dentist & front office staff laughing so I decided at that moment to not ever return to this place again. I left the office with temporary bottom dentures, I never went back to this office, Blu Dental of Carrollton billed my insurance for a full bottom permanent denture (which I never received) I told my insurance about the fraud claim, insurance company has reached out to them several times & Blu Dental of Carrollton as of today's date (12/19/21) haven't returned the money ($1200) to my insurance company yet. I would NEVER suggest or refer anyone to this place EVER! I DON'T DEAL WITH DISHONEST PEOPLE!!

Coming here was always welcoming and really made me get over my anxiety when going to any dentist appointments in my life. Not only that but they did a wonderful job on applying braces onto my teeth. Great place to go to!

My sister recommended Blu Dental. Before this, I went to a different dentist, who's only interested was to remove my wisdom teeth. When I went to Blu Dental, the receptionist was so kind and funny. I took my x- rays with a caring polite, young lady. Unfortunately, I do not remember her name, but she extremely parient. When Dr. Kim looked at my x-rays, he informed me of a filling that was done poorly and could harm my gums if untreated. Word of advice, do not go to student dentistry for fillings. I tried to reach them about said filling and they told me it was all fine and dandy that left it untreated for a year. Thank goodness Dr. Kim had showed me the x-rays and explained why it was botched. The first dentistry I mentioned earlier, only told me about wisdom tooth removal and teeth whitening. Blu Dental is honestly the best. Super caring staff, available weekends, and so much cheaper than other dentists. The crown I got looks realistic as well and I had little to no pain with the root canal treatment. In short, Blu Dental is the #1 dentistry in my book.

Love De. Henry Kim excellent experience and love the fact that he is so gentle I never feel the injections. The staff is amazing knowledgeable and friendly 1000% I would recommend . Thanks gang Thank you for keeping my smile looking great .

First, the dentists are very nice and professional, especially Dr. Tran who not only did his job very well but also very details and thorough. The way he cleans and communicates with patients shows that he cares and not only just doing his job but also wanting the best for the patients. Second,The staff are extremely polite and even gave me a discount on fillings and very honest about price and everything. I strongly recommend this dental office.

I see the eye doctor next door and knew it was time to get my teeth checked as well. They saw me right away and every one through out the entire appointment was very curious and professional. They took many xrays, projected them on a screen in the chair, then the doctor went over what was wrong and what was needed pointing to the trays on the screen. I needed a deep clean. The hygienist was professional and did an excellent job. Then the doctor came and cleaned up a couple spots she missed. 2 days later, any and all bleeding after brushing teeth has stopped. They did a great job with the numbing and the procedure. I am happy to say I found my new dentist.
