Dr. Novan Nguyen double-majored in Biology and Business with a minor in Art at the University of California San Diego. He attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry for his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, graduating in 2005. He continues his dental education regularly, and completed a mini-residency to achieve his certification in orthodontics and implant dentistry. Dr. Nguyen has been practicing in the Sacramento, California, area for 10 years. He is a member of the American Dental Association.
As a dentist, Dr. Nguyens goal is to serve his community and provide quality care for his patients. He cares about each patient he meets, and works hard to equip each person who walks through the doors of his practice with the knowledge they need to maintain good oral health. He enjoys giving back to the community, and donates his time to organizations such as WEAVE & CDA CARES. He also donates oral hygiene items to schools and participates in the troops program and in a number of events in the Sacramento area.
Marisa earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Sacramento State. She helps us maintain a positive and organized environment, and enjoys interacting with our patients and helping them get the most out of their insurance benefits.
Ivy began her career in the dental field in 2000 as a financial coordinator, where she was able to display her communication, leadership, and organizational skills. She graduated from Sacramento City College in May 2012. In 2011, she received a Presidents Highest Honor award. Ivys favorite part of our practice is working with our doctor and team to help our patients improve their oral health.
Luis joined our team in August 2017! He graduated from the Carrington College Dental Hygiene program in 2014, and has received the Colgate S.T.A.R. award for patient compassion and commitment to learning. He loves that our office is friendly and professional and takes pride in their work, and is happy and proud to be part of such an elite group of dental professionals. Dental hygiene is Luis passion, and he loves what he does. Luis is proud to share his skills and knowledge with others and to contribute to his patients health and wellbeing. He holds himself to high standards, and treats his patients and co-workers like family.
Crystina has been in the dental field for over 10 years. She started working with kids and wanted to grow and better her skills in general dentistry. She loves helping and caring for our patients. Crystina has been nothing short of amazing and has been a wonderful addition to our little team. She likes being outdoors with her two sons, playing football or basketball, and she likes to go hiking, cycling and traveling with her caring husband and their boys.
Jessica attended Carrington College for her Dental Assisting certification. She loves meeting our patients, learning about their lives, and seeing them satisfied with their smiles after we have completed their treatment.

I was looking for another dentist after a few not-so-great experiences. Luckily, I stumbled on this one. The Blossom dental staff are very friendly and professional. Dr. Ben was attentive, thorough, and personable and took the time to explain things. He is really nice and probably one of the best dentists I've had. My experience was extremely positive and I'm happy to be a new patient here.

Ivy and doctor Ben were amazing! I've never had a cleaning and exam as thorough as the one I received from Ivy and Dr. Ben. They removed stains my regular Dentist missed. They also explained everything very patiently. I will be coming to this office going forward.

Best dental experience I've had in my life!! -Courteous and professional staff -Clean and modern instruments and office They offered me a blanket even before I said I was cold, they lube your lips repeatedly with vaseline to prevent cracking when opening your mouth, fast and efficient procedures, I had my first fillings done there and they agreed to do them without anesthesia when I requested it. They work with you and they care about you. I even got a first visit little gift! 100% recommended!

I am a graduate student who is home during the COVID-19 pandemic. I hadn't received adequate dental care during undergrad because I didn't have insurance. I wanted a dental "glow-up" so I came to Novan Dental for cleaning and Invisalign during COVID-19. This dental office is very organized, clean, and professional. They have an automated texting application which makes sure that different patients come in within spaced intervals. Also, they scan for temperature and ask about COVID-19 safety protocol before coming in. I felt so safe and didn't ever feel like I would be at risk! At the same time, the dental hygienists, front-desk employees, and Dr. Nguyen are warm and inviting. During teeth cleaning, X-rays, and filing (needed to file teeth to make space for Invisalign), the hygienist and Dr. Nguyen himself was super gentle. I never experienced ANY pain and felt that my mouth was cleaner and prettier at the end. I always felt comfortable in their office and felt that I received the best service. I would highly recommended that my family members and friends receive dental care at this office.

It was a great experience. I was afraid to go with the covid19 issues but everything went absolutely perfect. Every precaution was taken and the professionalism of the staff and Dentist was top notch. I have no hesitation recommending NOVAN DENTAL.

I was recommended by my sister to Novan Dental and have been going to Novan for over 1 year (not including 2020 due to Covid). They sent me a handwritten welcome card after my first appointment. That is very nice. The staff are very polite and knowledgeable. My hygienist, Luis (sorry if I spell his name wrong) is very gentle and caring. My front teeth are very sensitive on both top and bottom and they hurt every time when I have my teeth cleaned so I asked for some local anesthetic to put on my gum before he started. And he make sure I'm ok during my cleaning. That's very caring and considering. Other dentists are very knowledgeable and nice.

I sat down and read every review there was to read and I read nothing negative or anything close to that. My front teeth got knocked out by a piece of wood on the freeway riding my Harley. And since have been afraid to go and get them pulled and the rest of my mouth taken care of once and for all. Im going to give these people my trust and let them.........(to be continued)

By far the best dental office I've been to. I recently had a root canal and absolutely no pain whatsoever, none. The staff are absolutely amazing. Very attentive. Nothing but great things to say about this place. Highly recommended. Thank you so much Novan Dental.

Novan Dental was amazing! Dr. Ben Dronov did a phenomenal job cleaning my teeth. I go to the dentist 2x a year and my past dentist did a great job but... this was my first time here, and when I came here Dr. Dronov cleaned my teeth so well I left with my teeth spotless! Stains on my front teeth that I've had for over a year are now GONE! I definitely recommend him and this place, I would give 6 starts if I could!

I can't say enough positive things about this office. They are so nice, so helpful, and truly care about you as a patient. The staff is incredibly nice, very professional, and I've always looked forward to coming here. Who can say that about a dentist office?! I highly recommend this office.
