I want each of my patients to understand how the oral cavity works. With this, patients will understand the importance of wanting to improve and maintaining a good oral health.
Dr. Riera is a member of the American Dental Association and American Association of Women Dentists. She also strives to look for opportunities that expand her knowledge and give her new tools to improve her quality of care.
Dr. Riera De Jesus is a proud Puerto Rican with a mixed family. With her father being Venezuelan, and her mother Puerto Rican, she grew up surrounded by strong family values and a large support system. Being a good example for her younger sister has been her overall goal in life. Every year, Dr. Riera goes on a volunteering trip with Dentistas Misioneros de Puerto Rico to the Dominican Republic. With a large group of dentists, students, and other volunteers, they treat the community of San Juan De La Maguana for three days. In addition, she gives back to her beloved Puerto Rico whenever it's needed.

Excellent prices got me in the door since I don't have insurance. They run specials sometimes so ask about it. Building was lovely and cheerily decorated for Halloween. Staff were all friendly and the technology seemed more up to date than any place I've been before. I've never had so many different types of imaging done on my teeth! I felt at ease and I appreciate my nice clean teeth

Scam shop! They asked me to pay $1100 for a cleaning while they told me $130 over the phone. Wasted my time and got charged $79 for no reason. Never had such experience anywhere before.

The entire reason I made an appointment with this place was because I had a broken wisdom tooth that was extremely painful. I requested an emergency extraction, which they do not have the facilities to do. I was immediately offered Invisalign, just as my husband was on his first appointment. I was stupid enough to think it was a necessary treatment. The anxiety I had surrounding dentists is far worse than it was, thanks to some really awful clinical and office staff. Due to having my mouth filled with etching acid and not water (by an employee in training shaking so badly she couldn't help but hurt me), along with my cuts, bruises, and soft tissue tears, I missed 3 days work due to my injuries... not once was I told what was happening, no one informed me what IPR was, or what the attachments were. I had cuts and gashes inside my mouth, and on my gums from the attachment process, and multiple chemical burns, and the trainee forced the speculum into my face with such force that she split my lips on both sides of my mouth. I was given a Tropical Smoothie Cafe gift card as an apology. That was like a slap in the face to me. We had to move out of state, which prompted everyone in the office to assure me my Invisalign coverage would continue for 5 years. This turned out to be a lie. After trying to find Invisalign coverage in another state, I've found that they have NO RECORD OF ME OR MY INVISALIGN ID NUMBER. I have attachments and am due for at the very least a retainer. Will have to pay out of pocket to have my attachments removed, as I am apparently NOT an Invisalign patient. Even after filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of West Florida I was assured my Invisalign was covered. It is not! In the end I had to pay $200 to have my buttons/attachments removed or shell out another $2k for further treatment SINCE MY IPR WAS TOO EXTREME AND LEFT ME WITH HUGE GAPS IN MY BOTTOM FRONT TEETH. But after one night of not having an aligner (let alone the retainer I was promised and paid for) I have crooked bottom front teeth that hurt and have all shifted back to where they were. So, thousands of dollars wasted. Loads of pain and anxiety for absolutely nothing. The office also continued to charge my insurance for 3 months after I left the state, which I reported to them promptly. All the 5 star reviews are for shiny things and simple procedures. They are not prepared to deal with anything more than that seemingly. Another reason I'm thankful to be away from Florida. This is a shady business with shady practices and Florida seems to be the perfect place for those.

Recently, l went in for a cleaning with the Hygienist Febie and her Assistant Griffin and they were amazing and very informative about my cleaning.They made me feel very welcoming and understood . I also want to thank Dr Ale for educating me about Invisalign because l can already see a change in my teeth and now l can smile without feeling embarrassed. She's truly the best and actually cares about your overall experience. I definitely recommend this office and l want to thank their front desk for being so helpful. Thank you for your services all team!!

My family has been going to Bloomingdale Dental Care since they opened about a year ago. The staff is top notch and so caring. Both Dr. Alejandra and Dr. Tanner are amazing! I thought it was going to be a struggle switching my daughters Invisalign to them from another provider, but I was wrong! It was so easy! My old office just had to fill out a form and it was transferred to Dr. Tanner with a click!! We were so thrilled that my husband even started Invisalign there too! Keep up the outstanding patient care!!

Yesterday was my first time visiting Bloomingdale Dentist. I have had a major dentist phobia since I had a front tooth knocked out in a car accident 50 years ago. Everyone in this office is amazing! From the first call to schedule my appointment, to the dental tech, hygienist, dentist and care coordinator it was an extremely amazing experience. Everyone was so kind and calm when I told them that I usually grip the arm rests until my hands are white! But-because they were so understanding and kind I didn't even touch the arm rests! I would recommend Bloomingdale Dentist to everyone and definitely anyone with a phobia!!

Dr. Tanner and his team are always very friendly and helpful to my kids and I wherever we come in for treatment! I used to hate going to the dentist, and now I actually look forward to it because of this team! Dr. Tanner is patient and takes the time to explain options and procedures to you. You are treated like friends and family instead of money or a number with Dr. Tanner and his team!!

I went to see the Dentist due to a broken tooth and they made me feel so at ease with everything and explained all of my options. Dr. Allie was wonderful and very compassionate and the entire staff was so nice and I am so glad I went to see them. I highly recommend Bloomingdale Dental

I went to this place about a year ago, whenever they had their grand opening. The teeth cleaning was good, successfully removed 2 wisdom teeth, but left with them making me feel insecure about my teeth. I don't remember any names, but the first lady who checked out my mouth dived right in to trying to sell me on braces. WOW RUDE. Ive avoided braces my whole life, thinking my teeth are straight enough. Ive never felt this insecure about my "crooked" teeth before until going to this dentist. All this lady did was point out the flaws in my teeth and told me why i "needed" braces. Im 25 years old i think i'll be fine. They werent very explainatory on everything they were telling me. I have a few teeth that needed checking out and they claim ALL of them need root canals and that will cost $8,000. Pretty sure i dont need root canals in 3 of my teeth, maybe 1. 1 needs a feeling and they wrote it down as a root canals. Anways, NEVER going back.

I went to Bloomingdale Dental, from a flyer in the mail. This Place is the Best dentist office I have ever visited very clean; the Staff is very professional and pleasant. Dr. Tanner is the TRUTH, with his extractions, gentle and quick. This is my dental home!
