Our goal at Bloomfield Pediatric Dentistry is to provide exceptional dental service for infants, children, adolescents and patients with special medical needs, in a kind, caring, friendly, and fun environment. We focus on preventative care to partner with parents or guardians to help our family of patients to maintain optimal oral health.
As the saying goes, An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. This is especially relevant to young patients; educating children and their parents on the importance and methods of good oral hygiene will reduce a childs risk for dental issues later on in life. At Bloomfield Pediatric Dentistry, we understand that there are no two patients who are exactly alike, so we personalize care and treatment for each child.
Another top priority of Bloomfield Pediatric Dentistry is infection control. To ensure that both our patients and team members operate in a safe environment, we maintain strict sterilization guidelines and cross contamination procedures using standards set by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC). Dr. Wong completed the residency program in pediatric dentistry and received his specialty certificate from The University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1999. He served as a member of staff in the pediatric department at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Wong has been in private practice as a pediatric dentist for over 16 years. He is very excited to be back in the greater Hartford area to establish the first pediatric dental office in the town of Bloomfield.
Dr. Wong stays current with the latest advancements in the field of pediatric dentistry through continuing education courses and he strives to provide the highest level of dental care to all of his patients.
Dr. Wong is married to his wife Lynn, and they have two children, Tiffany and Alex. When he is not in the office, he loves spending time with his family. He also enjoys reading, music, Broadway plays, and is currently learning to play the saxophone and the ukulele.

Every visit is a pleasure! The staff is friendly and works great with children. I love how after every visit, Dr. Wong makes balloon animals. It sends a good message. I know my kids love it and they leave the dentist feeling happy. They also have screens on the ceiling for kids to look at during an appointment. Its a great distraction while someone is picking in their mouth lol.

A very clean and nice dentist office! Private and most of all Friendly Staff as well as Doctor Wong! They were very very professional. I was so pleased with my first visit with my baby boy! I can't wait for our journey we take together on the care of my toddlers care! Definitely a 5star. I highly recommended to go check it out. An amazing first dentist experience for my son! Dr. Wong and his team were so friendly and did everything they could to make the visit fun rather than scary. The office is very clean and welcoming for kids. The entire visit ran smoothly and my son left with a big smile on his face.

Mi kids have never been so happy with going to the dentist before coming here. They both asking when they are going back. I highly recommend them they are very patient and caring to the children.

It was our first time here and absolutely in love with how this dentist and staff truly care about the kids. My 5yr old was nervous and they took time to explain and be patient with him. They made him so comfortable that he is excited to go back in 6m. My 2yr old was so scared because she is 2 and doesn't fully understand what's going on but they took such care with her she enjoyed her experience as well. Her bday is coming up next month and the dentist played Happy Birthday song for her on his saxophone she was so excited and happy. They made my kids day and gave us tips on how to really get on there and clean their teeth properly. So glad we found them! They got balloon swords to take with them too. The care and time they put in to make sure each kid is taken care of and enjoys themselves is remarkable. I highly recommend any parent with kids but especially those who haven't had good experiences this place will truly turn it around for you.

I just love love this dentist office from the decoration to the service they provide. They are friendly they keep inform of your appt, and give gentle reminder coming up to your appt even the day of. I never seen such five star attention from a dentist office. I highly recommend your little ones to this practice.

I called and I asked for an appointment for my son who is seven, the secretary said that they are not taking new patients who are 7 years old. You should put a disclosure that you are not taking new patients because you don't have the staff for 7 to 8 years old.

I just recently moved back to CT and found Bloomfield Pediatric Dentistry on a search engine and I'm so happy I did. Everyone was extremely informative and kind. I went to the appointment with my 2 year old and 8 month old and everyone was so friendly even when the 8 month old wouldn't stop crying from his morning nap; they were so understanding. I was blown away with both the hygienist and Dr. Wong attention to detail as well education they provided to me about how to best care for my little teeth. I was so impressed with their care that I already my 8 month old appointment for when he turns one. Extremely satisfied and would highly recommend them to anyone looking!!!

The staff at Bloomfield Pediatric Dentistry were very nice and hospitable during our visit. They went above and beyond to make sure my daughter was at ease during the cleaning. The hygienist kept my daughter informed on the next steps of the process and even held her hand. Dr. Wong is excellent with kids and he also gave me great advice on how to brush hard to reach areas. Very satisfied and we will continue to return!

I established new service here and I must say, I am glad that God directed me to this office to care for my son. The environment is so welcoming and the staff, especially Dr. Wong, are just absolutely amazing. They made not just my son feel safe, but me as a parent. Bloomfield pediatrics dentistry is the best kids dentist around. Maria and Dr.Wong are so helpful and patient with the kids. The environment is very friendly and I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a pediatric dentist. Doctor Wong does very good work !! 5 stars all around

We live an hour away. It is 100 percent worth the drive. Dr.Wong and his staff are so professional. You can tell they love what they do. Dr. Wong is amazing with kids. My son got a balloon animal when he first came in. The office sparkles it is so clean. I cannot stop raving about this place. We are so thankful we found him!
