After graduating from Ohio State University, he went on to study dentistry at the College of Dentistry of Ohio State University. When he graduated, he went to Metrohealth Medical Center located in Cleveland, Ohio, for his residency training where he gained extensive experiences in oral pathology, oral surgery, endodontics (root canal) and prosthodontic (dentures). He was regarded as the best resident in the dental department during the training on formal and informal occasions.
With Dr. Hwang at the helm, our office focuses on dental implant treatments that'll restore functions and aesthetics with a couple of different implant styles. We believe in minimally invasive treatments and we try to make an implant fit the bone. Not the other way around. That means less bone grafting and fewer sinus surgeries. Also Dr. Hwang tries to use one piece implant as much as he can as potential future bone loss around an implant gets minimized and the cost to patients go down with the type of an implant.

The staff was friendly and efficient. Dr Hwang listened and gave me treatment options. I am looking for a long term arrangement and hope this office can be it.

We moved to the area a year ago and finally got in to see a local area dentist that takes our Delta Dental insurance. There are not many, so we were unsure of how it would go. And Bloomfield Oral Health has generally good reviews, but there are some "haters" that posted vocal negative reviews. So, we thought, let's see how this goes. We had a very good experience. There are always haters when you read reviews, so you have to take them with a grain of salt. Sure, the place could use a spruce-up inside, but the dental care was excellent. My spouse and I booked consecutive appointments, and we both were very satisfied. Filomena did a nice job with the cleanings ... some hygienists work on you like an auto mechanic, but not Filomena. She's very gentle, but thorough, and explains what she's doing step-by-step. Dr. Hwang (pronounced Wong) was professional as well. I felt very comfortable under his care. After going to my same dentist where I used to live in another city for 30 years +, it's hard to change. This team made it easy. Finally, I expected some new patient hassle when checking out ... you never know if the insurance will come through properly, or if the caregiver will enter the information correctly. Again, a flawless experience! Even though this was our first time there, the desk admin said "everything's good with the insurance, we've already billed them". Impressive! In summary, don't listen to the haters. We had a great experience and are glad we found Bloomfield Oral Health!

I normally don't leave reviews but I am irritated I just drove here for no reason with gas prices being what they are. I had an appt at 10 am that was cancelled because my husband missed an appt. He is my husband but I am not responsible for his actions. And now I am not allowed to be seen here at all because of it. Awesome. Thanks. How are you going to bar me because of someone else's actions?

Called for a 1st time appointment. Was asked what insurance which i stated and the receptionist stated we don't support that and hung up.

They wont call back their customers. I tried leaving messages over the phone. And also through their website. Either no one checks these messages or is careless with them. I was asked back in August to patiently wait for them to call back....so here I am months later - nothing. And again called and emailed and nothing. If I did that in my business, i would be OUT of business.

I have extreme anxiety when it come to the dentist, Bloomfield Oral Health did a fantastic job making me feel comfortable. They were gentle, talked to me through the entire process, and they were quick as well. Did not fee a thing, this is my first time having any dental work done without gas in years. Thank you!

My wife and two children became new patients at this dentistry based on it being in network. I know several others that are also patients and were highly surprised on our negative review. My wife and two children were told they will no longer be accepted at this dentist based on missing a appointment the dentistry cancelled themselves based on short staffing.My wife had made a appointment for a later date. She called to see if there was anyway to get in sooner. The receptionist informed her that she had missed an appointment that she was never informed of. She was only informed of the one at a later date. The receptionist lied and said she was the one that made the appointment when it wasn't. There was no phone call to even confirm the said appointment at an earlier date (i have phone records). The receptionist also brought up said appointment they canceled accusing her of doing so. (I have the voicemail) and brought up we took the children to another pediatric dentist they recommended. All in all, just horrible service.

Dr Huang is very good. The office may not be fancy and they dont do TV commercials but you pay for all that somewhere else. The quality of care and gentleness of this dentist are great
