Dr. Saunders was born and raised in a rural North Dakota town, Hettinger. He graduated with Honors from UND and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Minnesota in 2003. He has practiced in Rapid City and surrounding rural communities for fifteen years.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your trust and confidence in permitting me to take care of your dental needs through the years. It is with mixed emotions that I am announcing my retirement from dentistry. Because I want to be certain that my patients continue to receive the best possible care. I have carefully evaluated a number of candidates who were interested in assuming my practice.

I searched for quite sometime and considered many candidates to trust with your care. When I met Dr. Saunders, I new my search was over. We share the same philosophy of conservative treatment. We both have a genuine desire to treat people with respect and honesty. I fully trust in his skills, he will serve you well. He has extensive surgical experience and shares my love for dental implants.

This is the best dental visit I've ever experienced. Everyone friendly and engaging. Almost pain free. Offered me different options. Will definitely be going back for all my dental needs.

This is how it should be when you go to the dentist. I learned a lot in my visit and am looking forward to the results of my new in home care treatment that Dr. Saunders taught me during my next appointment. Highly recommended:)

I had a minor emergency and every other dentist's office in the area was booked up for the week or otherwise unavailable. I called Bloom and they went out of their way to get me in to fix my chipped tooth, while also making me feel comfortable. Lynn and Dr. Bob did great work without keeping me there for hours. If I lived in Rapid City, I'd make this my regular dentist.

Just moved here, wife had a killer toothache. Receptionist crabby...such an important role she plays, wouldn't take my dog here.

This is the most detailed dentist visit I ever had! Everyone is very nice, they got me right in. And the doc took me for an education lesson about everything going on with my habits and patho. Highly recommended

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Saunders and his team. They do a great job and put their patients at ease. There are 5 of us, and we are all comfortable with this dentist. I highly recommend him!

From awesome Receptionist, Lesa, to support group Suzanne & Colton, Dr. Saunders has put together such a friendly, professional, accomodating group of people, that you seriously feel so at ease & well taken care of. Dr. Saunders, like Dr. Jeff Bloom, is knowledgeable, kind, engaging, & just an amazing, caring Dentist. They get you in quickly & take such good care of you!

I had a terrible experience here, they talked me into a "deep cleaning" right off the bat, without telling me how much it would cost/how much my insurance would cover. I even asked the dentist "How much is this gonna cost" he told me the hygienist would go over that with me... She never did. I never did get my free basic cleaning or my cavity filled. All they wanted to do was this expensive procedure and then expect me to pay $300 dollars on the spot (what my insurance wouldn't cover). Also the anorexic receptionist was very rude. Suffice to say, I'll be finding another dentist.

Love this Dentist and his employee's!! Had to get some emergency extractions done while pregnant and they got me in quickly and made sure that both my baby and me where taken care of! Prices are great too!! Would recommend this dentist to anyone!!
