A native of the Bay Area, Dr. Tamir received his undergraduate degree at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from UOP School of Dentistry in San Francisco. He has continued his education with an emphasis on facially driven cosmetic dentistry, implants, and minimally-invasive restorative dentistry. Dr. Tamir speaks English and Spanish
Dr. Garik Oganesian is a passionate, detail-oriented dental care practitioner who strives to provide high quality, comprehensive and gentle care to help patients achieve a healthy and beautiful smile. Dr. Oganesian treats patients like family, and he is best known for his positive and caring attitude.
Dr. Oganesian earned a Bachelors degree from UC Davis. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. After his time at UOP, Dr. Oganesian completed a General Practice Residency program at a level 1 trauma hospital in Central California and the Emergency Department at CRMC. Dr. Oganesian is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Contra Costa Dental Society.
Dr. Oz Simel is a dual degree (DDS, MD) Oral & Maxillofacial surgeon. Dr. Simel is a Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He practices full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dentoalveolar and wisdom tooth surgery, sedation, oral reconstruction with dental implants, including advanced bone and soft tissue grafting, exposure and bracketing of impacted teeth for orthodontic treatment, and oral pathology. Dr. Simel's speciality lies in wisdom tooth extractions, dental implants, bone grafting and safe intravenous sedation.In addition, Dr. Simel is experienced in cutting-edge minimally invasive procedures that make the experience pain free and recovery a breeze for patients.
Dr. Simel was raised in the Bay Area and earned his dental degree from the University of California, San Francisco where he went to school with his twin brother. At UCSF, he discovered his passion for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and continued his education in Southern California at UCLAwhere he spent six years in residency and medical school obtaining the skills and medical knowledge essential to the field. After finishing his residency he decided to move back to Northern California to serve his community.

Anxious about finding a new dentist barely describes how I felt after moving up from Southern California. I'm so glad I found Bloom Dental. Dr Lior and Dental Assistant Liv have exceeded all expectations for professionalism, kindness, skill and gaining my trust. Dr Lior is very interested in minimizing any pain of dental work and checks in throughout the procedure to make sure I'm okay. During today's cavity fill and a crown, Dr Lior was able to save more of my tooth than expected, which gives me better prospects for tooth health in the future and saved me money. As someone who has had to have extensive dental procedures over the years, I give my highest recommendation to Dr Lior and Bloom Dental. Thank you!!

I am very disappointed with the quality of dental care that I received. A simple cavity removal and tooth filling was done very poorly. After couple of months, I still feel pain and sensitivity on that tooth. They checked it twice but can not get it right, leaving me with no choice but finding another dentist to fix their mess with additional costs for me. Not recommended!

While my 75 year old mother was visiting from out of town, she fell and badly damaged her mouth and front two teeth. Bloom Dental took her right away and inevitably had to call in an oral surgeon to support what she needed. Their team was wonderfully accommodating, kind, and supportive when my mother was very scared and shaken from the fall. Thank you to the team for making a terrible situation much better with your professionalism and support.

Pregnant with problem of gagging every time you try to floss or wash the back of your teeth? Ask for hygienist Colette to clean it. She really knows technics to do it without gagging and if you have a hard time she will watch your body signs and stop immediately. She also is sooo knowledgeable so you can ask her any questions you want about cleaning or teeth and she will advise you well. I've been going to Bloom Dental for 4 years now and I love this place. I love doctor Tamir, who is very honest, but also really nice. I even brought my 2yo toddler to him and my kid loved it, doc knew how to talk to him and distract him.

I had an amazing experience with my first dental cleaning at Bloom Dental. Everyone is so friendly there. Dr. Diaz is so nice, and made sure that I was super comfortable throughout the entire process. She walked through the x-ray photos with me so I understood what she was looking at. She also patiently answered numerous questions that I had about my teeth. I've never had such a comfortable dental experience. In addition, the office is very clean and modern. Can't recommend Bloom Dental enough!

It was my first time going to Bloom but it felt like I had been there before with how friendly and welcoming everyone was. Both Dr. Tamir and my hygienist were professional and patiently took the time to address all of my concerns. Any anxiety I had was forgotten during the cleaning as my hygienist verbally walked me through each step of the way. They also have a membership plan as an alternative for patients who don't have dental insurance which was perfect for me. I would've never thought a dentist visit could be a pleasant experience but Bloom has set the bar high. I wouldn't hesitate to come again for future dental visits.

Such a great pediatric dentistry practice. My 8yo daughter had a filling in a baby tooth from her previous dentist fall out, and Bloom took care of everything. They checked on x-ray and saw the tooth was about to be replaced with an adult tooth, so just cleaned it and put in a temporary filling at no cost. Sure enough just a couple weeks later the tooth is wiggling loose! So refreshingly honest.
