My philosophy is to provide quality dental care in a peaceful, comfortable environment. I feel it is important to cultivate relationships with my patients in order to develop a customized plan to achieve and maintain their oral health. I want my patients to feel confident with their smiles.
Since 1988, I have called Minnesota my home. I attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where I earned my DDS degree. After I graduated I practiced with a large group practice prior to Bliss Family Dental. This experience offered me the opportunity to work with and learn from many talented dentists. I also enjoy taking classes in continuing dental education. This allows me to stay on top of the newest techniques and technologies.
Dana graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene, and has worked at Bliss Family Dental ever since. She strives to educate and motivate the public to appreciate and practice good oral health habits and understand that care must be directed towards patients as unique individuals. When Dana is not working, she enjoys spending time with my husband, Brad, and daughter, Kaylee.
Jackie has a history in Management dating back to 2003. She Graduated from Minnesota State University Mankato with a BS in Human Resource Management. Most of her career was spent in the Retail environment but found work life balance in the Dental field in 2017. Jackie lives in Apple Valley with her husband and three boys. In her spare time, she enjoys many different sports including volleyball, skiing and golf.
We perform routine dental services such as dental exams, dental X-rays, dental cleanings, filling cavities, teeth whitening, and minor dental surgery as well as more advanced procedures such as dental implants, crowns, and other cosmetic and restorative procedures.

It had been a ling time since i had gone to the dentist. They did not make me feel bad because of that, they just helped me make a plan. Everyone was great! I am so glad that i went in! Brian 2020 Had a crown done this year and last year. So very pleased on how good they feel. I could not be happier. brian

I have been so impressed with Bliss Family Dental. They are so good at what they do and the quality of their work on me from crowns to just cleaning has been outstanding-better than any dentist I've ever been to. On top of it all they're all so friendly and nice. They make you feel like you are important to them and it's not just a job!

Going to Bliss is like being invited into someone's home to receive your dental care. Downtown Prior Lake location is charming and adds to the experience. If you're sick of the big, mega dentist office, you'll love Dr Konop and everyone at Bliss.

Very quickly upon walking into the front door I knew I had found my new dental family! Jackie the Receptionist welcomed me warmly with a huge smile and friendly demeanor. Upon being called back, I met Dana my new Hygenist. She asked me questions and really cared about my past experiences. She was very reassuring all the while she implemented my cleaning. Last but not least, meeting my new Dentist Julie Konop. What a joy and wonderful mix of friendliness and professionalism!
