Dr. Andy Gaertner was born and raised in Antwerp, Belgium. Having a father as one of the leading dentists of his country, he was exposed to high quality dental care from a very early age. This played a major role in the development of his personal passion and knowledge in dentistry.
After high school graduation he went to attend Nova Southeastern University in Florida where he completed his Bachelors of Science in Biology, followed by his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D) degree. Dr. Gaertner started practicing dentistry in the Southeast Florida area, followed by three years in his home country. He is now expanding his expertise as a Cosmetic and Family General Dentist in Miami.
The drive to guarantee the highest quality of care and to constantly grow is the force behind the attendance of multiple national and international continuing education courses and local study clubs. Dr. Andy Gaertner is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Super Series Seminar Study Club, as well as a board member of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Dr. Gaertner is fluent in English, French, Hebrew, Dutch and intermediate in Spanish. which allows him to communicate and optimize care for patients from all around the world.
Dr. Gaertner also believes in complete health and balances his time with outdoor activities, proper diet and continuous exercise. He enjoys the diverse musical vibe and cultural art that South Florida has to offer.
Patient satisfaction, comfort, cosmetic excellence, and quality of care are Dr. Gaertners main priorities. He believes all patients should be treated like family. Ariana is a Miami native, born to Colombian and Honduran parents. She has dedicated herself to the Dental Field because of her love for Patient Care. On Arianas off time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs. She also enjoys kayaking and beach days. With Passion, Positive energy and a Smile you will see how comfortable you will feel letting Ariana take care of you.
Daphnie is our front desk receptionist. She was born and raised in Miami. She has been in the dental industry for over 4 years and works hard to make sure our patients feel comfortable. She is the first smile you see when you come into our office and the last one you will see when you leave. On her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Tanu was born and brought up in India where she obtained her Bachelors in Arts degree and Diploma in Early Childhood and Education. She graduated with the highest honors in Associates in Science in Dental Hygiene from Miami Dade College. Passionate in what she does, Tanu Loves to know her patients so she can Educate and Motivate them to achieve and maintain their Optimal Oral Health. I love that I am a part of an incredibly hardworking team that is successful in easing our patients fears, boosting their confidence, and educating them to ensure a lifetime of Ideal Oral Health.
Eli is one of your lovely registered dental hygienists. Raised in Miami, she is fluent in English and Spanish. Eli always had a passion for dentistry. After graduating from Florida International University with a Bachelors in Biology, she then attended the Miami Dade College Dental Hygiene program. Being a Dental Hygienist gives me the chance to change lives for the better. Eli loves working with patients and their needs by helping them with home Oral Hygiene Instructions and Education.
Susan has been a hygienist for the past 10 years. She obtained her Dental Hygiene degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2009. She went back to obtain her bachelor in Pre-Dental at New Jersey City University in 2013. She moved to Florida in 2013, and currently lives in Coral Springs with her husband and two kids. Suzy loves to take Continued Education Courses to stay on top of new materials and techniques to make her patients more comfortable. She is a firm believer in Soft Tissue Management and Patient Education to Improve their Oral Health.
Lisnay is one of our amazing Dental Assistant. She comes from Cuba, where she graduated dental school in 2016, and moved to Miami a year later. Liz is responsible, dedicated at what she does, and genuinely loves caring for others. Thanks Bliss Dental for the opportunity!
Marian is one of our amazing dental assistants. She was born and raised in Venezuela. In 2018 she graduated as a Dentist from Jose Antonio Paez University. When she moved to Miami, her passion was to continue working in dentistry. The best thing about being a dental assistant is helping to ease patients fears and anxieties of coming to the dental office. During her time off, she enjoys relaxing at the beach with family and friends.
Josue is one of our talented dental assistants. He was born and raised in Haiti. His inspiration for working in the dentistry field was his father, who was a dentist in his country. Josue graduated from Universidad Odontologica Dominicana as a Dentist. In 2018 he moved to Miami and continued his education at AAA School of Dental Assisting. He enjoys working side by side with the doctor and to make sure the patient feels comfortable during any dental procedure. In his spare time, Josue enjoys playing guitar and the piano.
Dr. Alberto Valencia was born and raised in Jinotega, Nicaragua. He graduated from the prestigious Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Nicaragua (UNAM) Dentistry in 1972. Dr. Valencia migrated to the United States in 1981. He started working in private practice in Miami in 1991 until joining Bliss Dental in 2021. Dr. Valencia is a member of the Ceola-Helo Dental Association. He has held many high titles in the Nicaraguan American Dental Association (NADA), including president in the year 2000. Dr. Valencia is a sports enthusiast, loving all sports. He is an avid stamp collector and has a passion for music and spending time with his grandkids. Dentistry is his other big passion, and you will always see him smiling.
Born and raised in South Korea, Dr. Kang had the honor of attending Seoul National University Dental School, the most prestigious program in the country. Inspired by the fields of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, he went on to receive his specialty training in Periodontics from Seoul National University in 1996. After earning his certificate in Periodontics, he was determined to move to the United States He attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he received his second training in Periodontics and Implant dentistry. As a result, Dr. Kang is the only Periodontist who has completed a periodontal residency in both Korea and the United States. After eight years of his dedication and commitment to the University of Pennsylvania and Nova Southeastern University as an educator and a clinician, he opened his private practice in Fairfax, Virginia. Dr. Kang is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and the recipient of several teaching awards, including the 2005 American Academy of Periodontology Educators Award. He is a national and international lecturer in the field of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry and an author of numerous clinical articles in authoritative dental journals.

I started going to Bliss Dental about 2 years ago. I am very happy here. Booking an appointment is easy and always accomodating, emergency or not, minimal wait times, kind staff and Doctors. I have had many procedures here and the staff always took great care of me. I trust them and appreciate all they have done for me. They genuinely care about their patients and always ask how I am doing and how my family is. You feel welcome and well taken care of. They are very transparent and provide itemized bills. Over a year later and still loving this place. 2nd visit: Equally great, it's a caring service which makes it priceless. I'm grateful for the quality of work and service. 1st visit: Super friendly service. The main doctor is very patient and explains everything in detail. Tanu, the assistant, was also great. She explained in detail, asked how I was doing during the deep cleaning, and stayed late to finish the work. Adriana, the manager, took her time to fully explain what my insurance covers, to plan my next check-up at a date and time that benefited meb etc. All in all it really is a perfect experience. Great place to go for checkup and dental work! Had two of my coworkers switch over to them cause they are fair and friendly. When ever we live in Miami use this dentist! It is so hard to find a great dentist, but they have one here.

I went to this office For second time today .I meet Dr Gaertner this Doctor was so rude to me since he entrance to the room he talked to me like I was doing something wrong not the patient that need a Dr .This is the kind of office they only care about money .Doctor have to be compassionate and be humanist this one is not at all.What a big difference to my prior Dr always treat me good like family not like a piece of money and I always pay him he did not treat me for free .This Dr told me here is different before the price . The lady that work in the front desk and take your payment was very rude too .She did not care at all what I explained to her .I told the Dr I have a appointment he doesn't even believe what I said.He is continue asking the hygienist which I think is the only person there with values if I have an appointment.Very disappointment don't go there they think you are a piece of money not a human .

I couldn't more highly recommend a doctors office! My mom needed dentures in a time crunch, and not only did they do a beautiful job but they were detailed and perfectionist and kind throughout! Josue and Dr. Gaertner are amazing and have become our family dentist!!

Excellent office. I have already recommended Bliss to several friends, but would be happy to send anyone their way. I needed fillings, bonding, and Invisalign, and could not be happier with the results thus far. I was looking for a dentist in the Miami area, and Dr. Gaertner is fantastic--not to mention that the entire staff is absolutely lovely. They make every appointment comfortable and easy, and Dr. Gaertner's attention to detail when it comes to bonding work etc., is exactly what you want as a patient.

Visiting a Dental office is the last thing I want to do. Then to confirm that my teeth did need intense work perform is even worse. If you should and must receive dental work perform your due diligence Iike I did; choose Dental Bliss. From the moment I opened the door to the waiting room I noticed how clean, and crisp the area looked. To me cleanliness is very important. Moreover, the atmosphere in their office was very relaxing with a carefully chosen nice light air scent from a burning candle and soft instrumental music in the background. This spa like quiet relaxing setting brings together the right ambiance of tranquility for this service. Your mind forgets that you will be getting in my lay opinion hard-core dental services. Furthermore, you meet most of the staff, all very pleasant and nice. All the assistants that I met were dentist from their country: Cuba and Haiti. Knowledgeable and humble individuals. Then you meet Doctor Gaertner the Creme of the Creme. In addition, Doctor Gaertner's office is equipped with the latest state of the art dental equipment. Never met a doctor with so much patience, blessed he is with patience. He guides you not just every step of the way but to the minute and second. Dr. Gaertner performed my intense much-needed dental work with great care. Finally, despite my fear and dislike for any dental service I kept coming back. The reason was very simple the whole experience was pleasant, pain was kept to a minimum and the price reasonable for their collective experience. Maria T. Great office and people! First, the hygienist Rosana gave me the best dental cleaning I've had in my life, she was gentle, professional and very attentive to details. Then I met doctor Andy, he evaluated me very thoroughly, asked me if I had any questions and explained to me every issue I had. You can notice since your first visit he is very knowledgeable and that he cares about patients. One more thing I loved was the quietness and the lovely relaxing music. I will continue visiting this place forever now .

My visit to Bliss Dental was different. From the moment entering the office to having my cleaning done by the hygienist, Eli and meeting Dr. Gaertner. Based on my previous dental experience, he's no in comparison. He listened to my concerns and answered my questions based on what's best for me. Dr. Gaertner is the absolute best dentist I have ever had in my entire life! I have always hated going to dentist visits, as I have had previous horrible experiences. From the first visit with Dr. Gaertner, I didn't even feel the injection of the anesthesia & that has always been something very painful & I never felt the needle! He performed a painless successful root canal that had to be done due to the failed ambitious attempt of a previous dentist trying something that clearly didn't work. Besides the amazing painless work Dr. Gaertner does he: ~ ensures that you are comfortable ~ that you are happy ~ he answers all of your questions ~ he reassures you ~ he always asks if you feel pain because he wants to make sure that you feel absolutely nothing ~ he also updates you as to what he is doing, e.g you will hear vibrating, you will feel pressure etc ~ he's kind ~ he's gentle with his techniques & not rough! ~ He always checks up on his previous work the next time he sees you I highly recommend Dr. Gaertner! 10 stars if I could!

I'm a pre-dental student at FIU and have been shadowing Dr. Gaertner for over 2 months. During my visits I have been exposed to variety of dental procedures and proper patient care; thanks to Dr. Gaertner. Gaertner staff is very welcoming. Chavely from the front desk is very attentive and dedicated to her work. Gaby and Kathy, the dental assistants, are extremely capable and have been so helpful during my visits. I highly recommend you to visit this clinic, you would not be disappointed. Everyone has made me feel welcomed, I look forward to each shadowing possibility to keep expanding my knowledge in the dental field.

Amazing doctor and staff. Everyone is sweet and welcoming and the office is beautiful. Doctor is always there for his patients and I, answering any questions we may have and explaining procedures to the tea. Exceptional work on every procedure done. Attentive in assuring that everyone is taken care of right away and makes every visit personable. A true gem. Recommend highly!
