I have moderate PTSD, so I had some concerns when I needed to go to a dentist. The staff and Dr. Blanchard were SO kind, SO understanding, and SO accommodating; there were no condescending attitudes, only respect for my issues. Dr. Blanchard was honest and candid about my options and extremely professional as well as being personable and genuinely NICE. Previously, he even phoned in a prescription after hours. This is the dentist to go to in Winterset if you want genuine customer service and respect.

My recent dental visit with Blanchard Family Dentistry was for a procedure that involved a numbing shot to be administered. Even though I HATE getting this kind of injection, Dr. Blanchard and his assistant did a great job of making it as painless as possible - as indeed it was (almost painless)! Not only that, but post-procedure, my mouth had no issues due to the injection site trauma (apparently Dr. Blanchard has perfected a technique that minimizes the tissue trauma). Highly recommend Dr. Blanchard and his team - they are all very pleasant and made my procedure much easier than I expected. Thank you!

The staff was so friendly, and Dr. Blanchard did a perfect job fixing my tooth. I didn't feel a thing, and I'm a scaredy-cat when it comes to dentists. :)

The appointment was great in terms of information shared with me about the condition of my teeth. It was also fantastic for promptness and efficient use of time. Whoops! I almost forgot to mention that the hygienist and the dentist were very sensitive to my comfort throughout the visit.

You are all wonderful, as always. And Dr. Blanchard, thankyou for your empathy. It is so nice that you come in and listen to my troubles. Can you recommend any place or person that can help my husband with a missing tooth? He is so embarrassed by this. But we just do not have the finances. He is a retired, disabled policeman. Retirement is NOT what we expected. But thank you for being you. :}
