My name is Dr. Sarah Nazeri and I am the owner of Blanca Peak Dental Center, PLLC. My practice philosophy is promote optimum oral health and to provide you and your family with the highest quality dental care in the most gentle and relaxing manner possible.
We are all unique individuals coming from a variety of backgrounds. Getting to know people and building relationships is one of the things I cherish most about dentistry. I like to encourage you as a current or future patient to express what your needs are so we can do our best to accommodate them. We are a team and together we can make your experience at the dentist, the best one you have ever had!
I have lived all over the state but knew quickly that I wanted to lay down my roots in Alamosa. I am sure I dont have to go into all of the reasons as to why Alamosa is great since you live here as well!
I graduated from High School in Longmont and received my undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado in Biochemistry and Chemistry. Go Buffs! The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center-School of Dental Medicine is where I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.
Since then, I have prided myself in expanding my knowledge base and increasing my skillset in dentistry by continuing to take numerous courses and mini-residencies. My firm belief is that in order to be the best provider for you and your family, I have to also have the most knowledge and push myself to stay current with the ever-changing field of dentistry.
Thus, I will be able to offer a comprehensive approach to dentistry. I have been trained in: cosmetic dentistry, crown and bridges (caps), implant placement and restoration, oral surgery (e.g. extractions), endodontics (root canals) removable prosthodontics (dentures/partials), and treatment of TMD (TMJ), Sleep Apnea, Botox and Dermal Fillers, and orthodontics (braces).
For those that are nervous, I offer a variety of calming solutions including but not limited to: IV sedation (also known as conscious sedation or sleep dentistry), oral sedation and nitrous (laughing gas). Lets work together to make dentistry a more pleasant experience!

My name is Alicia Sisneros. I was born and raised in Alamosa. My husband and I enjoy traveling with our children to visit different lakes, mountains, and waterfalls throughout Colorado. We love the wildlife and all the beautiful scenery our great state has to offer.
I received my training through the Academy for Dental Assisting in Littleton, CO. Upon completion in August 2016, I earned my certifications in Dental Assisting, Dental Radiology, and Sterilization as well as a CPR certification. I found my dental family here at Blanca Peak Dental Center in February 2017. With further training, I became an EDDA, (Expanded Duties Dental Assistant). I am very grateful to have learned so much from Dr. Sarah and the rest of the team here. Dr. Sarah has a very positive and calming attitude towards Dentistry. I feel that is very important as many people have dental anxiety. Having a career in the Dental field is very rewarding because we get to serve the community. Being able to see our patients walk out with a smile is such an incredible feeling! My favorite procedures to assist on are dermal filler and Botox injections. I also love placing fillings and doing cosmetic dentistry! My new journey is up at the front office. There is always something new to learn everyday!
My name is Jade Gunther. I was born in Portland, Oregon. I lived there for a few short years before my family and I moved back to the San Luis Valley. The SLV is where I have grown up and also where most of my family is from. My husband, my step kids and I enjoy spending our time exploring our beautiful mountains, camping, riding dirt bikes, fishing and being outdoors. In the fall of 2017, I enrolled in the TSJC Dental Assisting program. I graduated in May 2018 with a certificate in Dental Assisting, Dental Radiology and Sterilization. It has always been a goal of mine to be a dental assistant. Now I get to say I have accomplished my goal! I joined the Blanca Peak Dental team in May 2018. I love being here! I enjoy assisting on all procedures but, I especially like to assist on implant placement and root canal therapy. I am happy I am able to provide care for our patients and I look forward to gaining more knowledge from Dr. Sarah and the rest of the team here at Blanca Peak Dental Center.
Hello, my name is Laurie. I was born and raised most of my life in Oklahoma. My boyfriend and I moved to the valley almost 3 years ago and absolutely fell in love. We enjoy camping, hiking, and fishing in this beautiful state. I love my Blanca Peak family and feel lucky to have the opportunity to work with them. Dr. Sarah is an amazing doctor and I'm grateful to all I am learning from her. I really enjoy assisting on crown preps and new patient exams. My name is Samantha Vigil, everyone calls me Sammi. I was born and raised in Alamosa and still reside here. My family and I enjoy being outdoors: boating, wake-boarding, camping, fishing, riding ATV's and four wheeling. I also enjoy crafting with my children. I started my Dental Assisting career in August 2012, in a private practice. I have also worked in community health and had the opportunity to do some volunteer work in our community. I joined the amazing team at Blanca Peak Dental Center in July 2021 and I've already learned so much from Dr. Sarah and the team. I look forward each day to working with a strong team and always learning more. The most rewarding part of being a Dental Assistant is knowing that we are helping people feel confident about their SMILE.

I love to be outdoors whether its running, hiking, camping, boating or snow skiing. I am a positive person and I love to have fun.
