After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Texas San Antonio in 1985, Dr. Keith Blalock attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and earned his D.D.S. and was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon two years later. He went on to complete a one-year general practice residency at David Grand Medical Center while a member of the United States Air Force.
After completing his military duties in 1991, Dr. Blalock returned to the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston to further his education. He obtained his M.S. degree and orthodontic certificate in 1993 and has been in private practice in orthodontics since.
A board certified orthodontist, Dr. Blalock was a faculty member in the orthodontic department at the UT-San Antonio for 10 years, teaching undergraduate and graduate students. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Texas Dental Association, San Antonio District Dental Society, Southwestern Society of Orthodontists and the Texas Association of Orthodontists.
