After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Texas San Antonio in 1985, Dr. Keith Blalock attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and earned his D.D.S. and was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon two years later. He went on to complete a one-year general practice residency at David Grand Medical Center while a member of the United States Air Force.
After completing his military duties in 1991, Dr. Blalock returned to the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston to further his education. He obtained his M.S. degree and orthodontic certificate in 1993 and has been in private practice in orthodontics since.
A board certified orthodontist, Dr. Blalock was a faculty member in the orthodontic department at the UT-San Antonio for 10 years, teaching undergraduate and graduate students. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Texas Dental Association, San Antonio District Dental Society, Southwestern Society of Orthodontists and the Texas Association of Orthodontists.

Professional, caring staff with lots of flexibility for scheduling. The treatment plans for both of my children were straightforward and no-nonsense. The outcome is 2 beautiful new smiles!

Dr. Blalock is amazing! After originally having several problems from a previous orthodontist, I came to Dr. Blalock and he was able to fix everything and give me the smile I always wanted. Super friendly and welcoming as well! Would highly recommend!

The staff and doctor are very friendly and have a great rapport with their patients. Dr. Blalock mentions any progress and explains any change needed such as different wires, bands, etc. Very clean facility. Excellent service.

Dr. Blalock's office is friendly and welcoming. They are always quick to greet me and get my appointments started. I also really appreciate that Dr. Blalock thoroughly explains all the things he does so I can feel sure that I am happy with the end result. I am very grateful for my now straight teeth, and I would definitely recommend Blalock Orthodontics to anyone looking into getting braces.

I LOVE Dr. Blalock and his staff. They did not disappoint me from the beginning til the end. I was referred to 2 Ortho doctors back in August 2020, I visited both docs and really felt the difference between how caring Dr. Blalock is compared to the other doc. Dr. Blalock kept me informed from the beginning and really paid attention to every detail and made my smile look great. :))) Thank you so so much to Dr. Blalock and his awesome staff. :)))

Dr B is amazing. His staff is amazing. Appointments are quick, efficient, and very informative. They know their stuff. They take it slow and steady for the littles and have so much patience. I still go to Dr B for second opinions and he recommends me some great people if he can be of assistance. I appreciate all he has done for my family and it's been a great time.

Our experience at this office has been outstanding! The office staff is always welcoming, the technicians are gentle and patient, and Dr. Blalock is always cheerful and personable. I especially like how little wait time we have at each appointment!! I highly recommend Dr. Blalock!!

Always a great experience at Blalock orthodontist... whether it was an issue w a bump/tray or time for another scan or just a regular appointment.... everyone from front desk to Dr B are amazing and super friendly.. love the outcome.. love their patience.. I'd leave more stars if I could! 11/10 would recommend!
