Hello there! Im Dr. Blair and Im so happy to introduce myself to you. Im a father to four and husband to one. My wife and I met in high school, but didnt date until college, probably because I had some maturing to do. I spent two years living in Argentina, and so I am fluent in Spanish, love empanadas, and know how to survive without running water! While in Argentina, I had a pet pig named Norman who refused to eat scraps, which lead me to improve my culinary skills! Because of this, I enjoy trying new recipes or creating my own. My wife Marne and I have been married almost 20 years and are the proud parents of 1 son and 3 daughters. Our son Tucker is an excellent guitarist and enjoys spending time with his friends (like all teenagers!). Our oldest daughter, Parley is a complete bookworm. She even hides on top of the garbage cans in the corner of our yard to find hours of peace and quiet to read.
Piper, our middle daughter, is a firecracker. She loves sports, playing the piano, and recently conquered the Cliffhanger at Roaring Springs. This girl is afraid of nothing! Micah, our youngest, will always be known as the baby. She almost always gets her way, gets in our bed nightly, and rarely has to complete her chores. We clearly have much to work on with her. As a family, we enjoy bike riding, taking our mini-labradoodle Charlie on walks, watching movies and just spending time together.
I started my dental training at Brigham Young University, where I completed an undergraduate degree in Nutritional Science. From there, I attended University of Nevada Las Vegas for dental school. I knew I wanted to focus all my dental attention on kids oral health, and so I completed an additional 2 years of specialized pediatric training at the University of Tennessee. In addition to practicing at the University of Tennessees pediatric dental clinic, I also served other various pediatric facilities, including Crittenden Regional Hospital, Lebonheur Childrens Hospital, and the highly revered St. Judes Research Hospital. Accordingly, I have extensive knowledge and experience working with children, including infants, children of special needs, medically compromised individuals, as well as those with severe anxieties. Because I have had a wide variety of training and experience, my scope of practice includes the ability to deliver full mouth dental rehabilitation under general anesthesia, and to deliver safe and effective in-office administration of oral conscious sedation. But I do feel as though kids are at ease around me and in turn, kids feel at ease in the dental chair. Because of this, I can often turn an anxious child into a relaxed one without the use of sedatives. I even won the honor of Best Behavior Management, as voted on by my residency faculty and peers!

We love Blair Pediatric Dentistry! Everyone is kind, patient, and helpful! My kids have always had such a good experience! What I also love is they are always on time with appointment times so we never have to wait to get back, and they are thorough with their visits. Highly recommend!

My daughter is terrified of doctors so I was nervous about her first dentist visit, but she had a great time and wasn't scared at all! It was a great first experience for both my kids!

Great first visit! We are new to the area, so I was really nervous for the kids, but it went great! Dr Olsen is very knowledgeable and helpful. As a dad he had the "parent common sense" he wasn't trying to book us for a ton of work or anything like some Dr's have tried in the past. We are booking our work to be done next.

Dr. Blair never ceases to amaze me with his kindness towards his patients. My six-year-old had to get his filling fixed. He explained everything to my son before he did it. All his tools have fun names and he shows them what they do before he uses them. He even invited my four-year-old to come over and watch what he was doing. My children always feel special and valued in his office. All the staff is friendly and helpful. We look forward to going to the dentist every six months.

Such a great dentist! Our kids love it! Friendly and professional staff and beautiful office space! Dr Blair is so fun and personable with our kids. He totally makes it fun and them feel at ease. He also makes sure we as the parents have a clear understanding of what's going on with our kids dental health. Highly recommend!

Wow!!! They made my sons first dentist appointment fun! Loved the staff and the Dr! Also loved the little prizes kiddos get, and the game room in the lobby! We chose the right pediatric dentist office for sure!

The staff is friendly and Dr. Blair has always been amazing. Really helped my oldest when she was afraid because of a previous experience at a different dentist. Every time has been a good experience for my whole family. We appreciate Bair Pediatric Dentistry!

My 5 year old has had very traumatic dental experiences in the past. Today she saw Dr. Blair and he was amazing with her! So patient, and kind. He explained things in ways that calmed her. He was very respectful of her comfort and fears. He was able to fix her tooth and give her (finally) a positive dental experience!!

I love going to Dr. Blair. He doesn't make me feel like a bad mom for my son having the smallest cavity. Also his staff is very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend them. Update- 10/04/2022 I still love going to Dr. Blair. My oldest daughter was having pain and we figured it was her 12 year old molers but wanted to make sure nothing else was wrong. His staff squeezed us in after school and again made us feel so welcome and that we weren't over reacting.

All of my kids enjoy going to the dentist. I love that I can get all six kids in for appointments at the same time. I drive 45 minutes just to go to this dentist office, and I always leave reaffirmed that it's worth the extra effort to get there. I was unsure of how my 4-year-old twins would behave on this, their first, visit, but everything went perfectly. The staff let the older kids go first so the twins could watch. The twins sat up in a chair next the hygienists and asked a million questions, all of which were answered patiently and helped alleviate any sense of nervousness they may have felt. I would recommend this office to families with children of any age.

THE BEST DENTIST & STAFF!!! My son had been to 3 other offices and wasn't able to do anything until we came here. Dr. Blair was soo patient and did such an amazing job. His staff was very very sweet and caring. We will definitely be coming back for all needs.

Both of my kids love going to the dentist because of Dr. Blair. He is so amazing, and so is everyone who works in the office. They do everything they can to make the experience smooth for the kids and the parents. They are all so patient, as well! I can't imagine taking my kids anywhere else. I am so grateful for Blair Pediatric Dentistry.
