Dr. Kristina Staples, a native of Southside Virginia, has spent the last seven years as Director of Dental Services for a Community Health Center Organization in Virginia, supervising 11 dental offices and their staffs. In 2018 she returned to her home of Blackstone to take over the practice of a retiring dentist and rebrand it as Blackstone Family Dentistry.
Kristina holds a bachelor's degree from North Carolina State University, a Masters degree from Virginia State University, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from VCU. She is a member of the Virginia Dental Association as well as the American Dental Association.

My experience at my dentistry appointment was wonderful. My waiting time for my appointment was not too long and the service performed was in a timely manner. In addition, the entire staff conducted themselves in a business manner.

Anyone looking for a great dentist? Look no longer. There is a dentist @ Main Street where a dentist office use to be & they are taking new patients. Make a appointment today!! I had one yesterday. The dentist & her staff are fantastic!!!!

Blackstone Family Dentistry has been a wonderful place to take my children for dental care. Everyone is helpful, friendly, and we immediately felt at ease with the care and attentiveness that our 5 children received, from 1 years on up to 18. My 3 year old spent the week after her checkup/cleaning trying to find new reasons why she needed to go back to see Dr. Staples for dental care! Seriously, when does that ever happen?! We don't mind making 45 minute drive from our home because the staff is just that wonderful! The new location is nice and easy to find too. It has a dedicated parking lot now too :)

Very talented and experienced staff. Friendly and genuinely concerned for the various dental problems that are brought to their attention. Whether it's time for your 6-month checkup, or more extensive work is neceaaary, Blackstone Family Dentistry should be on your "to do" list. They have also been very "last minute" accommodating with an unexpected broken front tooth!!!

I love Dr. Staples and everyone that works in the office. Dr. Staples is patient, explains things as she goes, and does great work. Her staff are all amazing and friendly. I moved over an hour away and still bring my family to her office!
